Wow....that's really sad and disappointing. I really hope that a way is found to preserve the click exchange and creature viewer, because that would be a huge loss to the EC community. ☹️

I just can't express how sad this makes me. ☹️
I just recently discovered the Egg Cavern and it has really helped me get much more enjoyment from this site.

Thanks for all the support everyone! We're as sad as you all about ECN closing its doors, but we're optimistic for the future.

Just to shed a little more light on the situation, ECN isn't closing due to trouble with affording the hosting or anything like that. Our staff found it difficult to balance managing a fansite as well as contributing to things here on the site. We're hoping that from these changes, we'll be able to more actively participate in events here on the site. 😊

We realize it kind of sucks that a lot of the features offered on the site will no longer be available, but as previously mentioned, some options are being discussed!

Personally, I'd love to see some new fansites made by other users! Really, all it takes is some dedication. 😃

Aww, no. I don't know what I'll do without the click exchange, and I've been saving up all my raffle tickets for when my dreamies went up.. but now it was all for nothing. ☹️ Why is all this bad stuff happening on my birthday, it's apparently an unlucky day this year. x( This is so sad..

I... Just don't have enough words to express, how much I'll miss Eggcavern... Really. News, Cavedex, Viewers and calculators, withlist and of course click exchange.
Now I just can hope, that it's not forever or Ian will do some of those features here.

I'm sorry to hear you're closing ☹️ I really enjoyed the creature viewer and the click exchange.

Is there anyway to make the creature viewer and click exchange part of egg cave itself? I'm sure @Ian is aware of how useful egg cavern was for providing these tools to eggcavers. And I think the loss of the creature viewer and click exchange will cut down on the enjoyment this web site has to offer, so it would be in the site's best interest to incorporate both.

Have you been able to explore this option?

So sad to see that it's gone. ☹️ It really is a huge loss to the Eggcave community. I'm also really disappointed because I forgot to use up the last of my raffle tickets! *sob* I probably wouldn't have won anyway, but I can't believe I lost out on my last chance!! that sucks :C Im just now finding out about this because school has kept me so danged busy I havent had time for EC much anymore

if I had the money to help keep it running Id definately help out, maybe a sort of donation center could be worked out?
