Aibee nodded at Alina while she caught the waterbottle. "Awesome, thanks Ecplise! Is there any more of anything?" She walked over to the phoenix carefully, "Hey little birdy, how're you? It's totally ok, Alina! You need to touch it so it'll remember your soul." Aibee laughed a bit awkwardly. "Haha, so it'll come when your soul cries out for help." Aibee shrugged, "I had one before someone destroyed it."

Alina looked back at @skylark Aibee and wondered what exactly were her options. There was a little phoenix standing crawling towards her outstrectched hand. She crawled towards it petted reached for its head. It nuzzled her hand and she felt a strange emotion come and fill her body. It wsa the most lovely feeling that she had ever felt and then it changed to pain. Coursing through her body, her back arched and she almost screamed in agony.The pain was gone soon as it arrived. She looked at Aibee in horror, "Does this always happen? I don't know what happened! I feel completely faint and I don't know what happened."She didn't exactly know what happened and was sure that it was out of the ordinary. But there was one thing for sure that she knew, the Phoenix had a true name. She knew it in her heart and soul, it was on the tip of her tongue but she knew she wouldn't be able to say it until the time arrived. But she knew what she would name her Phoenix in the mean time."I know his name now, its Parelthon which means 'the past' in Greek. I used to know Greek because my Mother, when she was still alive, at least I think..."

@fluffy---------Aibee poured a cup of water for Alina. "No, it does not hurt to touch your Phoenix at all after the soul connection. You're bound to your Phoenix, you can read each other's mind. Unless you're wrapped around emotion, you can talk with your Bird at any time." She looked down, "Always, ALWAYS keep an open spot for your Bird... I didn't once, and that's how I lost my Phoenix, Saphira." Aibee smiled weakly at Alina, "That's a beautiful name. Also, when you find Parelthon's true name, never share it with ANYONE. It depends on your lives." She reached out her hand to Parel, letting him sniff it before she petted him softly.

Alina coughed uncomfortably, "Sorry, I sure she is. I guess I shouldn't use was because she's obviously not gone. Saphira's standing in front of me."She gauged Aibee's puzzled look and smiled a little."My mom, always sang to me the story of the Phoenix, rising from the ashes and recreating itself again and again. Dying of its old age or sorrow and then being reborn from its ashes. She sang to me about how its life was never ending and that if it chose to perform good deeds within its lifetime it would be recreated as an image it had created for itself in its former life time."Alina started humming the tune and her heart began to feel heavy. For the first time in about thirteen years she allowed herself to dwell on her former parents. They were long gone and Alina knew not to think about them too often or the memory would consume her."My mom didn't give me a locket or anything like that to remember her by, just the Phoenix song and her memory. It's all I need, I don't need something she's touched or held and loved, I just need her memory. And I think that's all you need too to keep Saphira alive. I think its just your memory."

@fluffyShe looked at the little bird, intruded by the fact that this might be her bird. Aibee petted him again, and shook her head sadly. "No, Saphira didn't burst into fire and go into ashes. She.. she di-..." Aibee sighed, "She died because I was greedy, wrought with hatred so bad she couldn't talk to me." A drop of tear went down her cheek, and she quickly wiped it. "I suppos- no.. I know... that she's here." Aibee patted her chest, where her heart is. She shook her head, "Anyways, we should get some rest or go climb."

"Lets start climbing again, i want to start while its still light and without the sun against my back. We'll find another cave and sleep a little during the afternoon and starting back up when the sun is going down. Sound good?"Alina started to pack her stuff, or the few things that she took out.She stopped abruptly and hugged Aibee tight, "Don't worry about it, I know it was the past and I'm not going to tell you to forget but she'll be reborn as something else, it might not be a phoenix but it'll be fine. She'll be happy and I think that she would know that you're sorry. Somehow you can just feel when you're being released. And i think its time that you realize that Saphira will release you."Alina stroked Parel and she felt his warm presence in her mind."I know this may be hard for you and you might hear it many times, but whenever people say this its from their heart, 'Aibee, you can fail so many times. And you can have things that you love die right in front of your eyes, and if you know they loved you, you'll know that they will never think its your fault.""Now you have Indy don't you? Maybe Indy knows Saphira, or what Saphira is now. Maybe Indy even is Saphira, but the point it, you've got your life now, the least you can do for Saphira is let her know that you're living it. She died to make you a better person, and don't make her die in vain."Alina extracted her arm from around Aibee's waist and continued packing everything back into her purse.

Aibee hugged Alina tightly, whispering "Thank you." afterwards. She turned to Ember and laughed, "There you are, sleepyhead! Nothing, expect, well, Alina got a Phoenix named Parelthon!" She pointed to the fast-growing bird, who was going from a mustard yellow to a deep orange, the flecks appearing brighter then before. "Anyhoo, we are going to keep climbing now. Can you rouse the others and we'll get going? She turned to Alina, "This is Ember, she's awesome." She turned back to Ember, "Alina here, she's the one who got the Phoenix."

@adverbShe blinked in surprise at Aibee's embrace. She hadn't had an actual hug from someone in a while and she felt warm and tingly inside.She looks at Ember and is almost starting to cry, "Hmm-- yes- um okay." she looked away and a tear escaped.She hurridly wiped it away and furiously rubbed her eyes."I'm sorry Ember, I don't know what got into me, but when I saw you, you reminded me of someone that I think I knew a long time ago. I'm not sure when I knew them though." Alina smiled apologetically at her while pulling her hair back into a neat pony-tail and securing it with a scrunchy.She approached Parel whom she decided to call Peril and stroked his head crooning to him, "You're a very lovely bird my darling, one that I will love forever."Peril nuzzled her and she could feel him almost purring in the back of her mind. It was a soft and steady sound, like a comforting growl of an engine

Alina looked back towards Ember, "I'm sorry, today I've just been spilling my guts with Aibee. I guess I'm a little sentimental right now. I'm Alina although you've said we've met already.""You're rather pretty." Alina remarked matter-o-factly but she had a smile on her face 😊

Aibee smiled at Alina, and petted Indy who was on her shoulder. She tossed the large waterbottle towards Ember, "Drink up as much as you want, there'll be springs as we go higher."

@akarikitty - LOL it's cool!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aibee shrugs, "Indy brought it." She yawned, stretching her arms. "Yes! I haven't had sleep in 2 days now!" Aibee immediately fell asleep as soon as she laid down.

@skylarkEclipse looked down and groaned. "Well you can't sleep on rocks that could fall!" Eclipse picked up Aibee and put her deep in a little, compact ledge, just a hole in the moutain, suprizingly big enough for more than 8 people, but small and compact. It had a roof, and it was at least big enough for people to kneel in. She took some sleeping bags and layed them across the ground of the ledge.As soon as everybody had reached the ledge, Eclipse put her own down, next to Aibee and Alina. She looked down a tunnel in the ledge. She ventured into the dark tunnel.Eclipse stopped once she saw a light. What she saw a gourgeous crystal mine with a fountain and a lake with pure drinking water! They could collect water for energy and collect crystals for money! Besides, they were going to have to stop at a grocery shop soon and find food. She ran back the other way of the tunnel, opening her mouth to tell the others, but she stopped. This could wait 'till morning, no need to awake them. Eclipse settled into her sleeping bag, and fell into a deep sleep.

@akarikitty@adverb@skylarki'm back!EDIT: Alina kept climbing with Peril at her side. Momentarily swooping around and then landing back next to her. I could feel his soft prescense in my mind and knew he was content with flying next her to her. She could feel him steadily tiring and she wanted to know what she could do to make a perch for him. She reached out an arm and said, "Peril, can you stand on my arm for a moment?" He squawked at me and flew onto my outstrected arm. I knew he was girrping lightly but his claws still dug into my skin. I dug into my bag and found large pair of thick gloves and put them on.

lol I've been here, I just I'm not in the tunnel where your gems are currently. I'm taking a hike right now with my bird the "clear my head"@akarikitty you want to continue or wait for others?Edit: I have to go soon@adverb lol that sounds weird....(( Alina ))She put the glove on her arm and asked Peril to land on it once again. This time it didn't hurt at all and she asked him to use his normal strength. He did, and it didn't hurt again. She was happy that she found something for him to stand on when he was tired and invited him to stand there for the rest of the climb. The hill wasn't steep now and she could walk on it. Peril was growing rapidly and getting heavier now, but nothing that Alina couldn't handle. She stroked his head and he chortled happily. Coming besides a lovely cave she paused awhile to see what was in there.The entrance was covered in lichens, draping it, almost like a caress and she gently pushed them aside to reveal the inside of the cave. It was an almost magical place. There were sounds of rushing water, although Alina could see no river or stream embedded within. The floor was not rock but small powdery grains of sand that escaped from her fingers, like silk, flowing out. She took out a glass bottle from her purse and scooped up a bunch of sand and capped it back up. Thinking that it would be useful in time to come. She ventured farther in the cave with Peril sqawking, begging her to come back.REEDIT: @skylark you're on 😊

@fluffy - WOOHOO! 😊~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Aibee yawned, rubbing her eyes. She got up and looked around the little ledge, "Haha, Ecplise.." Aibee laughs as she looked out at the sunrise.
