@dragonii Thank you so much! ^-^I turned the corner and walked down the snowy street, holding up a brown paper bag filled with groceries tightly to my chest. Passing through the rows of houses decorated with lights and ornaments for the festivities, I finally reach my own. The christmas lights danced atop the roof ledge, and a wreath hung delicately on the front door, welcoming me home.I was reaching for my keys in my coat pocket when a small parcel beneath my mailbox caught my attention. I turned, shifted my groceries into one arm, and picked up the parcel with the other. Holding up the parcel, I could see a tiny yellow star sticker on the top of the lid. Uncertain of what the star meant, I carefully dropped my groceries onto the ground, and opened the lid. Inside the box laid a bed of cotton and a single orange egg - a Pyraguin egg in fact, as I quickly recognized. I smiled, and picked up my groceries again as I fished for my keys and headed towards the door. Perhaps the warmth of a crackling fireplace is just what my new penguin friend needs.

@dragonii aaa thank you so much! Sorry I'm so late!! The air felt heavy as my breath came out in puffs of icy-white, and I felt the odd sensation of frozen leaves crumbling under my feet. It was early in the evening, but the sun had already vanished from sight, leaving only my tired eyes and the festive lights of neighbouring houses as means of guiding me home safely. It wasn't long until I reached the door of my small rented house. I eagerly unlocked the door, hoping to sit by the fire and spike a conversation with my roommate, Madonee. Speaking of her, she was the first thing that struck my eyes as she waved to me from the couch."Welcome back." She said, as calm and collected as ever. I barely had time to reply before the blonde-haired girl continued, her voice soft and warm - a rather nice contrast to the sharp and icy weather. "There's a parcel addressed to you.""Oh, really?" I replied curiosly, opening up the nicely decorated box in excitement, after having it passed to me by Madonee. "Look, Madonee, it's a packet of Drakomo crisps!" It was hard for me to hide my gleeful smile whilst the smaller girl jumped off the couch and joined me to stare at the contents of the box. "You don't get these often in this part of the country!" I exclaimed, taking the gift out of the box to admire. "Hey, there's something else, it seems..." I turned to face Madonee's voice and followed her gaze, spotting a small star which greatly contrasted the colour of the box. "I wonder what it means." The blonde, doll-like girl said, smiling softly.I think I went a bit too overboard on the story (oh dear) but I hope it's alright! Thank you so much for your gift and I'm sorry for not replying sooner!I've also read through a lot of stories and they're all very interesting and well written! Everybody is so talented, I'm actually really jealous ;o; ❤️

@dragonii love it!!! Are raffle entries still open? could i join if it is still open?❤️ Here is my story:The wind was pouring out and the snow bringing the frosty cold but as I walked past the mountains, a star was brought down from the night and hit me on the head...There was a maser, a star sign showing it was and a new love for my creature came. I had persistence not to let it freeze nor would I leave any of my other creatures but I saw this maser with the star sign with much more powerful love...A stranger came willing to give me a lot for of money for it but I rejected and the stranger got so angry it stole the star maser but I ran and ran but still couldn't reach the stranger to get it back...A large flash and soon the maser came back running and yeeping but the stranger never came back... I didn't care so I went back home with my creatures and the maser right in my hands but there was a message on it. It said 'Take care of 'SnowStar' but no one signed off so who is it?...obviously from you dragonii (thank you soo much)my story is soo bad, right? (just made up and i am soo embarrassed)thank you soo much for reading and again the maser (>_<)

@dragoniiAlright so I have to do a story of how I opened it?I woke up to a sound smashing through my window. In panic I grabbed my metal bat and carefully made my way downstairs, sweat pouring down my head readying for a fight. A cool gush of air woodshed passed me, looking over towards the left of me my living room window had broke and a present lay lopsided on my carpet. "What the cheesepuffs?" I questioned myself looking outside to see if anyone was near. I even walked outside to check for footprints only to see that the snow was left on touched. I remained speechless as I walked back into my house thinking about how I'm going to be able to repair my window. I peer once more at the box. It was green with intricate markings over it. Placing the bat down I got onto my knees picking up the box. "It's quite heavy?" I spoke noting how it smelled fruity. Shaking it back and fourth I feel movement inside the box . What ever was in it was alive. I walk over to the kitchen and place it on the table making sure to take my trusty bat with me just in case anything were to attack. I take the scissors out of the drawer and carefully cat the dark green ribbons and slowly unwrap the present. Once I unfold the cardboard lids I peer inside only to see a Corunis.

@dragonii I looked out of my window. It was snowing heavily. There was no way I could go out in that weather. I would have to cancel the annual Christmas dinner. I sighed, I was just getting excited for it. I went to the Christmas tree and picked up a present from my aunt. I was about to open it when I heard a knock at the door. I almost dropped the present in shock! I luckily managed to put it on the floor gently. I pulled on my coat and yelled "I'm coming! Hang on!". I unlocked the door. Nobody was there. I peered around. Whoever they were had gone. But they left a box on the door. It was covered in snow so I couldn't tell what colour it was. I fought the snow and went inside. I would of shook it but I learnt last May that people send creatures in boxes, and I defiantly didn't want to hurt one. I closed the door and locked it. I put down the box on the sofa and turned on the heating. Once I came back I sat down and brushed off the snow. It was a sparkling sapphire box. It was covered and covered in glitter! There was also a cyan ribbon around the box. I checked the tag. It said "To Emerald. I know you'll look after her well". There was no name. I untied the beautiful ribbon. It was soft and silky. I wrapped it around my wrist and it made a fashionable bracelet. Wow, two presents in one! I slowly lifted the lid. Inside was a pink egg. A Valenbun egg to be exact. It was probably the cutest egg I'd ever seen! It's fur was so fluffy. I put it in the box for one second while I went upstairs and got a little floor torch, food and a pillow. I put the pillow in the box, with the torch underneath it. I put some food in a little bowl in the box as well. She looked a lot warmer and happier. The sender said the Valenbun was a girl... What should I call her? I know, Blizzardheart.(Do you mind me renaming her?)

@dragonii Thanks so much. ❤️A girl sat on the couch, curled up with a blanket and a mug of hot chocolate. She brushed her hair out of her face as she concentrated on the screen of the television before her. It was Christmas Eve, and she was feeling lonely. She had no one to give presents to, and no one to receive presents from. She sighed. Maybe it'll be better next year, she though before delving back into the fantasy land of her movie.Suddenly, the doorbell rang, snapping the girl out of her thoughts. Who could that be? she thought to herself, as she hesitantly turned off the television and approached the door. "Who is it?" she asked. When no one answered, she cautiously creaked opened the door and peaked outside. There, on her doorstep, was a box. Attached to the box was a not that said 'Merry Christmas.' The girl picked up the box and carried it inside. She curiously opened it to reveal a star with a note attached. Glancing over the note, the girl smiled to herself. Maybe Christmas will be exciting after all.

@dragonii Hey ~ Could I open my box now? Sorry I didn't wait for your ping 😋EDIT: forgot the story xDShe laid in bed, waiting for Santa to send her gift. It was Christmas Eve, they all told her that Santa wasn't real, and even if he was, he wouldn't come if we were awake. She looked outside the window. It never snowed here, but to her, the chill of the heavy rains would do. She looked at her phone. There were all kind of different Santa Tracker things. Right there, it wrote "Santa is currently at Russia and will arrive in about 1.5 hours!" So she had to wait that long, huh.She had fallen asleep unknowingly, by the time she opened her eyes, she knew that it was long past the time Santa had come. I crept out of bed and sat in the living room. The Christmas tree beside the sofa twinkled with those lights and baubles. And right there, she saw a small blue box under the tree. Might it be? She walked over, kneeled down and looked at the tag attached. "Merry Christmas, Usha! - Santa" Immediately, a smile spread across her face. Santa hadn't forgotten. But she got up and went to bed. She wanted to leave the surprise for next morning.

@dragonii Ahh thank you so much! I'll write the story asapEdit:A teenaged girl trekked through the storm, stopping every few steps to stomp the thick snow from her boots. The flakes swirled around her, clinging to everything—her cheeks, her hood, even her lashes, turning her vision to a blur of white. Despite the chill, it was beautiful. As she turned the corner, the familiar curve of her lamp-lit street floated into view. Despite telling herself time and time again that she was too mature for gifts and giddiness, she still felt her stomach flutter at the sight of a shape on her doorstep. A box for me? She wondered, her eyes lighting up at the thought. She glanced around at the empty streets before quickening her pace to a run. Her house was so close—just a few steps away—and the shadowy object still sat atop her porch, almost taunting her in the best way. She could hardly contain herself as she leaped up the last of the stairs, one by one, until—splat! She groaned, stumbling to her feet with a shiver. She was freezing cold and soaked with snow...but at least she had her box. "There you are!" She laughed as she scrambled towards it, brushing snow off its surface with a gloved hand. Then her eye widened, and she froze; below her hands lay nothing but the bench that always sat on her porch."Of course—what did I expect?" She mumbled bitterly as she stalked inside, collapsing into her comfy armchair. "What a day."She was just about to retreat into sleep when the ring of a doorbell broke the silence. She almost growled but reluctantly stood all the same, meandering over to the door."What do you-" She paused, tilted her head curiously. On her doorstep sat nothing but a box, a festive tag atop it reading "Merry Christmas!" She looked inside, and her eyes lit up: a darling Valenbun egg was nestled inside! She cradled the box in her arms, a wide smile crossing her face. As she closed the door, she whispered to the air, "Merry Christmas!"
