it was christmas day when i heard a knock on the door as i went to answer the door i noticed a green box lying their. i picked it up and removed the ribbon from the box and inside stood a tiny girsal staring at me. i screamed in sheer joy.

I stood frozen in baffled wonder, staring at a petite parcel that had materialized from...well, I'm not quite sure where.

It sat upon my desk, yellow gift-wrap shimmering, and seemed to be somehow waiting for me.

Once I'd finally gathered the nerve to lift its dainty lid, I found myself in awe at the lovely little star that floated upwards from its small container. It gleamed and glowed as it began to dance around the room. I spent the rest of my day watching its golden light shine.

@dragonii I'm sitting on the street; lonely, cold, cold. I look at my wallet; my pocket, more like it. One mere coin. The bus arrives; comes, stops, gone. The mailman comes; comes, stops, stops. He asked if I was myself. I'm sure of it, sure, somewhat. He cheers up my day. I get a deluxe yellow bouncy ball. He said it was a Star. Idiot, he would need a bigger bag to carry a star. It was late in the evening when I heard a slight commotion outside my door it wasn't to loud but eneough for me to investigate. I opened my front door to see nothing but a yellow box by my feet. Curious I prodded it with a stick and when nothing happened I took the strange box inside.

The box was in crystal condition even the ribbon was gleaming against my table lamp. After briskly inspecting it I carefully tugged at the ribbon unwrapping the box and revealing a beautiful egg. Carefully I carried the egg and placed it with the rest of my cove.

My doorbell rings and I run to look and see who it was, but, upon finding no one, I open the door and see a wrapped package waiting for me. I curiously pick it up and take it inside and then proceed to open it. A Halloween bag? This is amazing! I'll be certain to use it!

Perhaps it was fate, or maybe some other supernatural force that pulled me towards the front door in the middle of the night despite my exhaustion, almost as if I were possessed. As the door creaked open, I caught sight of the pitch black street ahead. And yet, the blue, glimmering wrapping of the rather small parcel at my feet caught my gaze. My eyes lingered on it for quite some time, unsure if the present that lay in front of me was real or but a distorted image of the reality set before me.

Finally, I leaned forward to pick it up, only to feel it quiver in my arms. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the small holes littered around the side of the package.

Is there something alive inside? I pondered. I hurriedly went back inside and shut the door, eager to see what gift I had received. As I tore off the blue foil and ripped open the box, I was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful, pink creature staring back at me with glassy eyes. The Pinkunk, although atrocious in scent, was absolutely astounding. After all, what better gift for the holidays than someone to spend them with?

@dragonii Thank you so much! Here's my story (I hope it's alright):

It was a typical winter night, and I had chosen to stay inside, as I had spent all of yesterday spending time with my more cold-loving creatures, playing in the snow with them. Tonight, I felt like it would be perfect to simply lay by the hearth, with a good book in hand, and gL-Itc_h, my Compewt partner, laying in front of me. I had stayed there for most of the night, when suddenly, there was a rather loud knock at the door. I slowly stood up, careful not to awaken gL-Itc_h, and walked over to the door. I opened the door, and saw a beautifully wrapped box, the wrapping paper decorated with cartoon Prath. There was a small slip of paper on the front, which had my name written on it in neat script. I took the box inside, taking care to not jostle what was inside, and sat back down, carefully opening it. Inside, nestled in a mixture of tinsel and hay, was a Luminese egg, glowing marvelously in the light of the fire. I picked it up, and sat back down in my chair, placing the egg beside gL-Itc_h, and I started the book from the beginning, reading aloud for both gL-Itc_h and what will be the new member of the family.
