Spiritwish

"Oh. Ok. Uh, come see me if, um, your leg starts bothering you, or something," he managed. Why was he tongue tied now? Ears pushed back in embarrassment, his tail wrapped around his paws as Spiritwish nodded in understanding, giving up on words.

He hesitantly turned around and headed toward the fresh kill pile to talk to Moonstar. The tom straightened himself up as he approached the leader. Spiritwish hoped she didn't have the wrong idea about the medicine cat and warrior.

Mousefur narrowed his eyes. These rogues were threatening Birchpool! He didn't know Birchpool all that well, but she was still a cat from a clan. He bunched up, prepared to spring at them if he needed to.

Moonstar

Moonstar looked up from her fresh-kill and noticed Spiritwish standing in front of her.

"Hi Spiritwish", she meowed. "What happened to Heronclaw?" Moonstar asked.

Moonstar furrowed her eyes. She hoped nothing bad had happened on their journey to the streams.


Blur

He heard a rustle behind him. He tentatively peered behind him, and saw nothing. Must just be a squirrel...

Blur tried to make himself believe it, but it was too loud. It almost sounded like another cat...

Spiritwish

"Heronclaw fell into the streams and hurt her leg. She says she's fine now though so...," his thoughts caused him to stop. Realizing he was just standing there, Spiritwish put on a fake smile and tried to focus. "Anyway! StarClan has given me a prophecy."


Birchpool

"Ha, I think not," she replied. Her eyes watched them intensely, harsh yet amused.


Thunder

Giving Blur a slight nod. They didn't come here for nothing. Besides, this Birchpool was just a clan cat.


I take the longest showers... Also when did Thunder start to become a rogue? XD

Heronclaw
She walched him go and waited till SpiritWish was out of sight before begining to limp back into camp. She tentativly tried to put some weight on her leg but it sent a shooting pain all the way up her spine and she had to close her eyes to stop from hissing. Once safe in camp, Heronclaw calapsed in a sunny patch of grass and began licking at her leg. Trying to distract herself from the sorness her thoughts turned to starclan. Had they told SpiritWish anything that would help the clan? She sure hoped so, the clan needed all the help the could get. Her leg gaze another shot of pain when she touched the area that had been stuck in the ice. Maybe she had pushed it a bit to far by trying to walk on it.

Moonstar

She flattened her ears against her head, nervous. "Is Heronclaw okay? Make sure she's fine!"

Then she heard about his comment about prophecies.

"A prophecy?!" Moonstar nearly shrieked. She then lowered her voice. She was just nervous about it.

Her breath began to slow again when she thought about something. Could the prophecy have been connected to the large birds?

"Alright, who came to you and what did they say?" She said after she cleared her thoughts.


Blur

Blur flicked his tail to signal that he had gotten the message, and turned back to Birchpool.

"Leave. Now." He said calmly.

He wondered if Viperfang was getting mad enough to attack the clan-cat. Blur sure hoped not.

Mousefur flattened his ears down farther. These cats were threatening another clan cat? He would attack when the loners did.

After finding nothing for hunting, Leafstorm crept near Dawnclan's border, hoping that Dawnheart was on patrol. But then she saw rogues. Making sure she was downwind, she watched. Suddenly, she saw Mousefur. What's he doing here she thought. She crouched as if she were hunting and crept slowly to Mousefur from behind the bush. After all, she didn't want attention.

Moonstar

Blur

Blur checked the scent. Rats! They were upwind! But then he heard a rustle of leaves rubbing against something.

He tentatively looked around, and saw just the slightest tip of a cat's tail.

"Hey! Who are you?" Blur yowled.

Spiritwish

"Tawnynose. She said 'A kit of white shall be guided by two warriors to a star that matches her pelt. Guidance will visit and threats from above they must remove. Crimson marks the one whose eye has seen stone.' When we go to the gathering, I'll ask Frostfur if she's had any visions"


Birchpool

"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I am not going anywhere," she hissed, claws gripping the ground. A growl settled in her throat.


Thunder

"Fine. Have it your way," Thunder growled. A half second later, he pounced.



(So sorry for the late reply! I haven't been feeling the best and wanted to post a reply that didn't seem like I typed it like I had an hour of sleep ^^)

Mousefur hissed, and leapt out of the bushes to attack the cat that'd pounced on Birchpool. He slashed viciously and vigorously at the cat's flanks.

Birchpool

Birchpool hit the ground with a thud, claws flailing. The loner's weight restricted her movement as she tried to scratch him. Suddenly the weight was removed and she quickly stood up to see the grey tom had been knocked off by what appeared to be Mousefur from LeafClan. She remembered seeing him from previous gatherings.


Thunder

The force of impact caught him off guard for a split second, the sharp sting of claws raking his pelt snapping him back. Thunder swiped his claws at the intruder, hissing aggressively. Circling the new cat, a growl vibrated in his throat.

"Well, well. What do we have here? Another clan cat? LeafClan from the smell of it. This isn't your fight so stay out of it."

Mousefur hissed back. "It's another clan cat. It doesn't matter that she's in another clan, at least she's in a clan." He leapt forward to attack the rogue yet again, biting his tail.

Thunder

As the clan cat bit into his tail, a loud yowl rand out his muzzle. Whipping his head around, Thunder bit at the tom's closest leg. "How sweet. Protecting others that you're supposed to be against in the first place. How hypocritical."

"I'd rather protect them than you," he snarled back. he felt teeth in his leg. He slashed at the tom's ears, causing blood to form.

"Funny. I feel the same toward rouges," Birchpool hissed.


Thunder


Teeth snapping, Thunder ignored the blood trickling down his face from his ear. He went to bite his attacker's leg again, but a claw raked his unprotected belly. Pain engulfed the loner causing him to crumble to the ground. He could feel a warm liquid on his stomach and struggled to stand up. Coughing, Thunder shakily stood, insisting on continuing to fight.

Mousefur shook his head. This loner was purring up quite the fight. He slashed his side again, having no intention of killing him. He hoped to at least disable the loner.

Moonstar

Moonstar went to the edge of the clearing. "We have to leave for the gathering right now!" she meowed loudly.

"We mustn't be late for it either."



Blur

Blur looked back at Thunder. "Thunder are you okay?!" he screeched. His pelt hot with anger at the clan cat who had attacked, he leaped onto the clan cat's back and clawed the back of his face.

He hissed when he realized that 'Birchpool' was standing unguarded. Quickly Blur scraped his back claws against the clan cat's back and vaulted off in the direction toward Birchpool.


"Mroww!" Blur ran to Birchpool and attacked her. He growled, seething with anger.

Thunder

Instantly falling to the ground, Thunder paused for a moment to hack up a cough. Pain shot up his legs as he attempted to stand once more, swaying. He lifted a paw to move forward, but had to quickly put it down to maintain his balance. Glaring at Mousefur, Thunder stood there heaving, too prideful to surrender.

"Go ahead. Kill me. That'll really show me. I'll never give up to the likes of-", Thunder wheezed sarcastically until he was interrupted by a fit of coughing that threatened to knock him over.

Mousefur didn't care that his face felt on fire. As the other cat attacked Birchpool, he leapt on it, tearing the tom off of Birchpool. Viciously and ferociously attacking it. He raked his claws several times along its fur coat in a rage.

Blur

He felt himself being ripped of of Birchpool, by the brownish tom.

He shrieked when his pelt burned with deep scratches. He wanted to face the tom and claw him.

But his side felt like a two-leg had hit it with sharp, pointy rocks.

Blur fell back onto the ground and panicked. He would end up just like Thunder.

Quickly he bounced back up, only to stagger back down again. He blinked with his good eye, and saw the tom towering over him.

Falconpaw
The young warrior had wandered away as his mentire was discussing with there leader and was now sniffing around the edge of camp. The small cat was almost quivering with excitement at getting to see some more cats his age. That is if Frostfur let him go... Falconpaw thought back guiltily to all the recent times he had messed up, which was to say quite a lot. Realizing all of a sudden there was probly something he should be doing the frisky calico bega to look around for his mentor.

"I'll be right there, Moonstar!" Spiritwish called and padded up to Heronclaw. She looked like she was in pain, but the tom didn't want to offend her. However, it was his job so he asked to make sure. "Are you sure you don't want to stay in the medicine den? I mean, if you're going to the gathering then that's ok. After though? I don't mean any offense, but you look like you're in pain..."


Thunder

"Blur!" Thunder managed. He took a small step forward.

Oh dear Leafstorm thought when she accidently touched on of the leaf. She stopped, getting ready to end the fight if it gets out of hand.

Leafstorm carefully went back. She didn't want any questions on why she was near Dawnclans border.
Dawnheart was hopeful. I could see my sister soon she thought with a bit of glee. Looking at Moonstar, she waited for a command.
