"I have no idea." Jaela replies, turning back. "I assume it takes a day and a half, but I've never walked that long before."

Jaela bend her knees so that she was in a fighting position. She could hear something there now.

Lyon hears someone land behind him. He spins around and pulls out his dagger. There was an avian with long grey wings. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you guys. I'm surprised you actually heard me." The avian says. "I'm Sirin."

Name: Sirin
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Short dark grey hair, brown eyes. Wearing a black tracksuit.
Appearance of wings: Grey wings with white specks.
History: His parents were killed when he was young.
Personality: confident, strong, very outgoing.
Power: Can temporarily erase memories. (Lasts between a week to a month)
Weakness: Can be a little overconfident in himself at times.

"Another avian?" Raina looked at the avian suspiciously, "What were you trying to sneak up on us for?"

"I-I wasn't sneaking! I was just-okay, I kinda was, but I just wanted to know if you were a good group of avians." He says.

Lyon glares down at him, still feeling suspicious. "Who are you?" He asks.

"Oh, I'm Sirin. Nice to meet you." He laughs awkwardly. Everyone's glares were telling him that he might not be welcome.

Jaela didn't glare at the new avian, but she looked at him without a welcoming expression. "Where did you come from?" She asked.

Ralem jumped when the new avian came. He had definitely not expected to have another avian show up.

"I'm just from around the area." Sirin says.

"And why are you here?" Lyon adds.

"There's a lot of humans around, I figured it would be safer to travel in a group." Sirin wasn't expecting to be interrogated like this.

Raina squinted at the avian. He didn't look to dangerous but looks can be deceiving. She turned to the others, "What should we do?"

"Let's talk to him. Maybe he's friendly.I don't know about you guys, but I think he could be useful. Lyon?" Jaela asked him quietly.

"You know, you guys haven't introduced yourselves to me yet." Sirin says.

Jaela was about to reply to Lyon when Sirin spoke up. She looked up at him. "Call me Jaela." She said to him.

"Ralem." He said his name after Jaela. There was something about this avian that he didn't necessarily like. He would figure it out in a bit.

"Lyon." He says curtly. He leans over to Jaela. "I think we should keep an eye on him for now, then decide if he's worth keeping around." He whispers.

"Raina," Raina says and looks to her group members. "Do you think he's safe? It seems a bit...odd that he would try to sneak up on us if he wanted to join us."

Jaela nodded. "I agree with both of you. I also think he's safe because he hasn't done anything yet. He also doesn't look menacing at all."

Lyon glances nervously at the others.

Jaela nods a little towards Lyon. She would rather not dump this opportunity to get a larger team. If the next adventure was anything like the last one, they would need help. "I think it would be fine if you came." She said to Sirin.

Ralem glanced at Jaela before looking back at Sirin. What was she doing? How did she trust so fast? He was quietly amazed.
