Winter shrugged as she tiptoed across the jail floor. "Icicle can take care of herself." That didn't stop a pain of worry in her heart though.

The door rattled open with a clang and a guard burst in, looking into the now empty cell. "Code Red. The prisoners have escaped!"Winter shivered and tried to muffle her footsteps as she ran away.

Kyria sprinted ahead, her feet light as feathers, looking behind her back occasionally to check on WInter and Jaden.

A clattering of footsteps came down the aisle as a guard skid down in front of Winter. He opened his mouth to yell, but she quickly threw a punch while squeezing her eyes shut in fear and preparing for the feel of a sword slicing at her. Nothing. The guard lay down on the ground, knocked out. Winter had actually defended herself. She felt like giving a cheer, but this wasn't the place to do it. She continued to run after Kyria.

Kyria looked back and saw Winter being cornered by a guard. She almost stopped to help until she saw Winter's muscles tense up for a fight. Kyria watched as Winter successfully knocked the guard out with a punch to the stomach. "Nice work," she whispered. Kyria skidded to a stop in front of a large window. "Let's go! " she yelled.

Jaden darted down the halls after the two. They were so much better at fighting... My style was fast and agile.

Kyria studied the window, looking for a weak spot. "There," she muttered, her fingers wrapping around the bars. Then she pulled her sword out and slashed the window bars off. She then proceeded to pull rope out of her pouch and throw the end out the window. "C'mon, you guys first."

Jaden took a deep breath, looking warily at the bars. She released the breath and jumped through the hole, landing gracefully on the other side. .

Winter's heart thumped, but she had to do this. Jumping over, she stumbled a bit but still landed.

Kyria watched as Winter and Jaden jumped down. Kyria swallowed and tried not to think of her fear of heights. She then loosened the rope, jumped down, and pulled the rope with her. "Let's run," she said.

"It's mutual," Winter shrugged, sneaking a look behind. She yelped and ran faster as she saw guards approaching. "Guys, they're getting closer."

Jaden muttered a few rude words and bolted faster away from the guards. She was starting to pant harder, and there was a stitch in her side.

Winter noticed that they were running out of breath. Even if they were young, they couldn't outrun guards. "What should we do?" she gasped between hurried breathes.

"Yep, I am!" Jaden yelled. The first guard reached her and she used his momentum against him, spinning him to the ground.

"Oh god, please let us live," Winter whispered before turning around and punching a guard in the face. Her knuckles hurt already, there was no way of winning this fight.

Kyria turned just as a guard was running towards her, his fist aimed at her face. Kyria ducked, barely missing the punch. "Whew," she said.

Jaden ducked under the legs of a guard and kicked him in a place he probably didn't appreciate. He howled in pain and fell to the ground. A guard came up behind her and punched her in the back. Jaden groaned and stumbled away.
