Just wondering, I've tried....oof, maybe around 10 times? And have yet to get a Foo again o-o@pouncessoftly and I were talking about it and we just hope there's no limit or anything like that ^^;

@lexicon You already know, but I've attempted at least 16/17 times and no Foo. 😋 The one I have in my cove was a gift when a friend took pity after all those attempts ^^

@pouncessoftly Yeah, which is ridiculous!! I feel like there should be an equal chance to get each (25% in this case) or they should at least let us know the drop rate so there's less disappointment?

@lexicon I got lucky and got it first try on my anniversary, but I haven't tried again. I doubt there's a limit, since when the pool was first out, plenty of people got more than one pretty quickly.

@arcana Oh wow!! That is pretty lucky 😊. I got mine on the second try and then another one not too long after but since then I've had like the worst luck ever and i'm confused as to why that is owo. And then we have @pouncessoftly who has never gotten one no matter how many times she's tried /:

@lexicon Out of everything on this site, I think the VEND machine has been the kindest to me, but maybe it's just because I've only ever tried it a couple times. I think a lot of people who've been on the tops of the leaderboards would probably help more with figuring this out though!

@lexicon I kind of feel the same way .. it would be nice to know if there is a different drop rate on the different creatures instead of a flat 25% (or 33.3% for groups of 3) After as many times as I've tried, I'm quite discouraged. :/

The point isn’t to let you guys have retired creatures easily. The re-release is for you guys to have a chance at getting an old egg you missed, not give it to you after 1 or 2 attempts.This is the only way to make it fair to old users that have been playing for years and worked for their eggs.

@pouncessoftly I don't think so at all. I would be upset if a Foo took somebody only 1 or 2 attempts, considering how that egg has been released nearly 10 years ago.

@bunnyshadow I mean, I understand that but I don't know how much you've quested - it's not that easy unless you have a lot of time on your hands or a lot of EC to spend. The amount of time, effort, and EC it takes to do literally thousands of quests with no luck at getting what you want? It's just not fair and frustrating to people questing if you don't get rewarded for all that work I'm really happy for users who only had to try once or twice, they did work for it and simply got lucky - nothing wrong with that at all! I just feel for the people who try and try and try and have nothing to show for it

@lexicon I think it's completely fair considering how these eggs were supposed to be a one time release in the first place. Until they decided to add Vend. People should be glad that they're given the opportunity to achieve an Egg with just hard work and dedication. Users complained that it was way too hard to trade for old eggs, now they're complaining about it being too hard to get it from VEND.They already made it easier for you guys, what do you guys want? Ian to start giving your WL eggs for free?

@bunnyshadow No one is saying that. I'm thankful we have this opportunity, don't get me wrong. I made this topic to discuss questing with others and share experiences and the frustrations that come with it - which is a perfectly okay and valid to feel. It's kind of expected on the hunt for WL creatures, for it to be tedious and difficult, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting disappointed and expressing those feelings. It's how we come together and empathize and show support to others that make it worthwhile to keep going until you finally achieve your dreams

@bunnyshadow lol@pouncessoftly @lexiconhey!! so ! this is my opinion: vend is not supposed to be like "everybody gets a foo!!" it is just a chance. even if you don't get a foo, it makes it much more possible to actually get a foo through trading/etc because it has been reintroduced into circulation. and accusing users of casting shade when this entire topic is shade on the vend as a whole,, it is not a good look.

@ethereality I get that. I was just wondering about the exact numbers. My intention was honestly not for this to be "shade on vend" I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten one in a while because I personally haven't and I haven't seen many in the TC. I'm a huge proponent of the VEND and I quest a lot. I have no idea how this turned the way it did o-o

@ethereality I don’t get where people are getting the idea that either @lexicon or myself are saying everyone should get one. @lexicon was asking for feedback on if anyone was gotten one recently, I shared my rotten luck. Then all of a sudden it’s been turned into us wanting one for nothing. Yes, I’m getting pretty tired of trying. Am I still going at it? Yep, can see that on the leaderboard, though I have had to slow down since RL is busy right now. And yes, I did say everyone is entitled to their opinion, but being told They already made it easier for you guys, what do you guys want? Ian to start giving your WL eggs for free? is an insult I am not going to sit quietly by. Still my opinion that it was excessive and negative.

maybe people are jumping to conclusions/assumptions too quickly about each other here 😊 everyone is entitled to their opinion, i think this is a rather harmless topic as a whole and honestly i believe some valid points have been brought up (such as the % chance to get each respective creature). no need for passive aggressiveness, its just a discussion, and everyone will approach the topic differently ^^personally i don't like the questing atm and wish it would somehow be reworked, in terms of how you actually get the quest coins, not the rewards. but thats a different topic, i think old creatures being rereleased is fine especially considering the amount of effort required to even get a chance at getting the old creature you want 😊 questing certainly takes a lot of time and effort so i think its fine. i also recognize how frustrating it is to not get the creature you want after sooooo much time and EC but i think it is fair as well because like mentioned before, it will put more of these LEs into circulation so you can trade for them easier or even use the VEND creatures you got and didn't want ^^ so, tldr, i think in terms of the actual rewards you can get and how they are distributed (chance based) is fine although i don't like the questing system as a whole, but it would maybe be nice for a bit more transparency of the % chance (whether its 25% chance for each creature or a more uneven spread) 😊 sorry for rambling, just my 2 cents

@pwuffy Thank you for understanding ;A; I like the VEND well enough, hence why I keep trying, but it's not perfect by any means and discussion about how to improve it is essential for growth and development 😊. That's literally all I was trying to do - gauge current numbers/percentages to see if it's about 25% per creature (equal chance) or something different but there simply aren't enough numbers to do so right now ^^'@pouncessoftly 0% (0/17)The person @skymoare mentioned 100% (1/1) - I would say that's very lucky 😊Mine is somewhere around 13% (2/15)Just seeing what others experiences were with how many times they've tried/how many times they've gotten a Foo and their personal chance rate/luck 😊

I'm curious to know the percentages as well! (If there are any LOL) I haven't used the VEND to get a Foo however, so I can't put in my stats lol.

@chapus2009 It would really be nice if they gave at least an approximate rate, say something like 1-5% for the Foo, 5-15% for a Bliz ... An exact isn’t necessary, but an approximate would be fair, just to be clear. From being a mount collector on MMO’s I’m used to low drop rates, but they’re also clearly stated.@skymoare Sure, it’s always worth trying! I hope you’ve got better luck! ❤️

@pouncessoftly yee I agree! C: it would make perfect sense for the rarer prizes to have lower drop rates. But yeah, just to quell the curiosity part (at least for me) it would be neat to see it displayed somewhere :0
