I am thankful for my pet because she is a bundle of joy. I love spending time with her after a difficult day (especially watching tv together).

I am also thankful for Ian for creating this cite. I love participating in the contests held and chatting with other members in the community (though I can’t keep a conversation going for long).

I am thankful to be a part of this community and this site in general 😊 It's brought me such joy!

I'm also very thankful for my boyfriend who lets me ramble about my eggs to him, who has been on call with me as I frantically wait for midnight to see new cave monthlies or post my feeding contests ❤️

I'm thankful for my three wonderful cats, who love me no matter what and make me so happy every time I see them! 😸

I'm thankful for my kitty who keeps me company and gives me cuddles when I'm hope alone or my partner.

I'm thankful for my amazing family, and how close we all are.

I'm thankful for my amazing partner who always tries to do his best to support me.

I am always thankful for the community of Eggcave for without all of you, we wouldn't be here today making new friends in forums like this one. I don't think many people really grasp how important it is knowing people from across the world, living in different circumstances and having such different experiences as it can be quite humbling. It makes the world feel a bit more cozier and closer than it actually is.

I'm incredibly thankful for my partner's family for basically letting me live at their place. It makes my life so much easier, happier and more fufilling.

@natureluvr This really got to me. (': I'm glad I was able to be there for you, and will always keep my door open for you, whether you're struggling or not!!

I'm also very thankful for @twinkle. Such a kind person feels like a real rarity to come across in the world lately, but she and the likes of @daisycat are making days a little brighter just by virtue of being around. Whether it's putting together guilds that really forge a community, or expressing a unique sense of humour, or hosting engaging conversations... These two deserve medals.

Outside of EggCave... I'm thankful for my other half, supporting me as I go through a medical journey that will mean plenty of lifestyle changes, I'm thankful for having the freedom to make choices in my best interests because he supports me unconditionally. I'm thankful for fresh starts, and I'm thankful to wake up every morning and have a day ahead that I know I have full control over. ❤️

Thank you Katie, I'm so glad you like my guild!! :,) I've put more time and effort into the Nest and the ideas and events for it than I think people may realize, and I feel like a failure by putting it on a hiatus these past few months. But I am just so busy with work and real life (I was working from home part-time when I created the guild initially, with loads of time to focus and plan things for it). I keep thinking of closing the guild officially, but it's too lovely to read these sweet words from you and feel your appreciation for my creation! ;o; Thank you! ❤️

@daisycat I mean it very sincerely! I've seen a lot of guilds and crews come and go, but I am yet to see one that feels as homely and as welcoming as this one. Whether the Nest continues on or it one day closes, you should be so proud of yourself . 💙

I'm very grateful to my sister for being here and making time for me amid her very busy schedule. We don't get to see each other much, but when we do it's always a real nice time spent connecting; I'm reminded that there is someone else who will understand and accept certain aspects of my life, and it's a great comfort to me.

And onto Eggcave! I'm so thankful for the community that's around this little site — this is the first online community that I felt I've integrated into since 2020, and I've really enjoyed getting to know a number of people. It's funny how even simply posting "fed" on each other's walls can lead to a sense of companionship.

All of the entries are soo good, I'm actually blow away by the amount of creativity displayed in this contest 😱 It's also surprising that some of the same travels were used in multiple entries! Great minds really do think alike xD This is going to be a close one!

The Nest's Secret Songbird is now accepting participants!

Similar to Secret Santa, the Nest's Secret Songbird pairs you up like Sikeree with a random Nestling! They will provide a wish list for you to peruse and choose the perfect gift to surprise them with this holiday season! Type up a hint or two in a PM to @matcha (Matcha will receive these since I, @daisycat, am participating in the Secret Songbird) so your Nestling can guess to themselves who their Secret Songbird is. You will send your gifts to Matcha and he will anonymously deliver the gifts and hints to the recipient. The Secret Songbirds will be revealed the day after, on Christmas Eve!

♡ While there is no price limit, please try to keep your gift's value moderate. Not "too low" and not "too high". This is a soft rule, as value is subjective. Additionally, you are not required to gift CC creatures or CC Vouchers. However, if you truly want to give a large gift or a CC gift and are able to, it is perfectly acceptable.

♡ There is a soft price limit because some Nestlings may not be able to give as much as others and we don't want other Nestlings to feel left out because they were given a Secret Songbird that cannot give as much. But again, we also do not want to discourage a generous gifter. That said, anything inexpensive on the Nestling's wish list is acceptable, such as a Cave Common or an item worth 500 EC, because their wish list rules!

♡ If participating, the minimum gift you must give is one item OR one travel OR one creature OR an amount of EC OR one CC Voucher. Any of these are acceptable. CC is not required.

♡ While there is no limit on how many items, creatures, etc. that you can gift, if you are exceeding five gifts, please consider sending additional gifts directly to your Nestling after the event is over. This just makes it easier on Nest.

♡ Please keep in mind that it is not a guarantee that your Secret Songbird will be able to gift you something on your wish list.

♡ Please don't feel pressured to join if you don't think you will be able to participate or something may come up and you have to drop out.

♡ If you join but later are unable to participate, please let Nest know as soon as possible via PM or Guild Forum, whichever you prefer, so your Nestling isn't left without a gift.
