@veritaspunk I think this year has had some lovely design as I really love the mothman but this one I don't get really. I think a lot was expecting yetis and big foots etc. I think the last couple of days will be leading to more well know crypids.

@thedarkarcher It's not about popular vs unpopular so much as it is if you could only tell 7 stories of things in the fabled world - would that be on your list ? In draft board terms this was a reach imo

I personally don't think it's an issue they're using lesser known cryptids. I mean we already have creatures that are based off yetis, krakens and sea monsters, but we've never had a creature based off dropbears or the mothman.

The Yarayaho isn't my favorite, but the rest of the cryptids have been pretty solid, especially Mothman. I'd personally love a Wendigo creature next, the skull head would be dope.

I like the first and second stage okay. The last stage though.. Not a fan. I do personally like that the cryptids we are getting maybe lesser known. But maybe with a different style? It's just interesting because this years crw are valued so low compared to other years.

I personally like that we're getting more lesser known cryptids rather than just getting another sasquatch or nessie or what have you. It takes more creativity. and so far, all have been well executed, even if they're not all my cup of tea. The mothman is my fave so far.

I personally love this year's CRWs, mostly for the fact that they're all so uncommon. I'm not really familiar with cryptids, so for me they're even more random, and, well, AW YEAH 😃 I just love these creatures that have no real (or not real, but very common) prototype.
