This also explains the timer that appeared right after I claimed one aha, I thought it was a cooldown period, but it's just the time left before they run out !

Thank you so much, EggCave staff, for letting us know ahead of time. That's a huge relief and I hope you'll do that for the other VEND creatures as well, knowing ahead of time when something will retire means we can prioritize it in our quests. Hope everyone who wants a Foo can--

@storm-sage Yeah, I've been getting more turn-around in my shop too, as well as buying tons of stuff from others. Quests were a 'sometimes' thing for me until this change, now there are so many new ones I want!

Though I understand that the machine cant keep printing creatures out infinitely, it is a shame that once the popular creatures (Foo Hallowolf and potentially Tawny) runs out, questing will slow again ☹️ Honestly this has been such a great update because it made EC valuable -

- Again compared to CC. The uptick in shops is also so fun. I hope the VEND machine updates often with wishlist/popular creatures as things go out of stock to keep the interest going.

Wow, you all blew straight through that Foo stock! Not even the Tawny or Hollowolf are even close to the level of dispensed times as our fox friend. Not to worry, though, the machine just needs some rest before restocking and the Foo will be back sometime in the future.

Happy to know I'll never be able to get vend pets I want because I fail 99% of the quests because there's never the needed items in the shops... smh. Would be more fair if they all asked for just 1 item instead of 2 for 5 of them >_>

@hinokazes Do you check user shops too? And ask in the quest swapping thread too, lots of people helping out there. Sometimes it takes a few hours but it's pretty rare I have to cancel/fail a quest. Also I think there has been more variety in the game-shops lately (has anyone --

@heatherm19 tbh at first I checked the user shops, but items were so overpriced I quickly gave up that way because there's no way I pay 40K+ for something 1K if not less :| For forums, I almost never check there, so I didn't even knew, but I honestly have lost all hope.

I'm also tired to check shop resets a ridiculous amount of time always to see there's nothing I need. I have other things to do. I was kinda happy to finally be able to chose what I want, but if the shops don't cooperate, better act again like the VEND does not exist than go mad

@hinokazes I would recommend stocking on travels & items even if you don't need them-- that way you amass a huge stockpile and you'll be more likely to have the item if the Quest asks for it.

@chapus It's an idea. Sometimes I was buying items not because it was the ones asked, but because I just liked them (or they were very rare). With Halloween event I'll have to click for tokens, so I'll get money. I may buy items during that time with that extra money

Just want to put it out there, since some folks are using this as an opportunity to make a quick buck on all the excitement: I will not be buying anything from anyone's shop with obvious, extreme price gouging, and I hope no one else will either. Good luck everyone!

@frakenstein I second that! My shop has travels that are priced 3k ec more than the TA, and I am not changing my prices just based on this VEND update!
