Happy Easter! Our annual Easter Egg Hunt event is back. Starting now, we've hidden 30 small Easter eggs around the site and Egg Cave's pages. When you see an Easter egg on the page, click it to collect it.
Players who collect all 30 eggs can collect the prizes below. The brand-new Yolkby and these four Travels can only be obtained from the Easter Egg Hunt! They will be available nowhere else.

The Easter Egg Hunt will be open now through April 14 at 11:59 PM ECT. You must find all 30 eggs and claim your prize before then.
Eggs become progressively harder and more difficult to find! You'll find the first 5 to 10 eggs much quicker than the last 5 eggs. Don't expect to find all of the eggs in one sitting!
Enjoy the event. Find a few eggs, take a break, and then come back!
Easter eggs are hidden in different places for all users, so sharing Easter egg locations and their links won't work.
Do not participate in or complete the Easter Egg Hunt from your side accounts and don't collect the prize more than once.

@ian , thanks for the update but this should not have happened. both dragold's den and easter should have been prepared for and the yet the playerbase has been neglected twice in a row. and this isn't counting the years of suggestions your own supporters have been providing. +
+ we would all appreciate if you addressed what's been going on. it's okay to not feel as passionate about this site anymore; it's been like 17 years. but people are still giving you their time and money to play and it's not right to ignore and neglect us like this. +
+ please address the qol forum post (https://eggcave.com/forums/topic/79021) or bring on another developer so that these yearly, planned events happen on time and more updates and features are added to keep this site alive and fun.+
+ it's insulting to your players that this has been going on for so long with silence on your end. thank you

@myriadium thanks for your message. Not an excuse, but my life is 100% absolute chaos at the moment and you’re right that Egg Cave deserves better. The site not only needs QOL updates but more features beyond monthly standard releases.

+ because the current lack of any communication paired up with the stagnation of the site makes it difficult for newer players to stay and old players to continue. i hope to hear a sitewide update, or even just in the forums, soon.

@ian I agree w/@myriadium— If life is too hectic on occasions for you to manage this site, it would be a good idea to hire a team to ensure it runs smoothly when you are otherwise occupied with other things. It would be an easy solution to keep all parties happy & less stressed.

Okay. I have a question 🥹 Sorry. Are eggs fixed to certain pages? Or do they just pop up on random? Like if I find one on xyz page could it pop up on xyz page again, or no?

@inkless they pop up randomly with a cooldown period. Personally I just refresh the Leila page every 10 mins or so and have really good luck this way!
