Welcome to Egg Cave! I'm Jordan and I've only just started playinig properly today. As for the basics of the site I'm not too sure I can give an accurate explanation but I guess you can collect creatures each day, feed other people's creatures to earn EC and trade pets aswell. 😊 Your pets can evol...

-Obligatory introduction post-Hi! My name is CaptainBootyShorts, or just Captain. I have far too many interests to name, but I do very much enjoy reading and writing. I'm currently really into Homestuck. I apologize if anyone here has any grievances with it or any of its fans, and I'll try to keep...

I've had this account for about 5 months but forgot about it and just discovered it again. I'm Jordan and I thought I'd introduce myself here.I'm a bit nervous as I'm guessing the aim of this site is to obtain 'cool' creatures but I have no idea what is what! How am I meant to know if I find a goo...

CC cannot be offered through Trading. The only way to currently give CC is through the Gifting feature at the Cash Shop.Always remember to be very careful when offering CC.
Meteoroid • 24 November 2012 at 3:52 PM
@prettypony0914 You can only find one Gobbler per page. You'll know em when you see one. They all show up randomly on any site page at constantly different positions.

@inkpeltAs others have stated above, Creature Release Week is yet to happen this year, but we may see it around Christmas if we're lucky 😉Egg Cavern recently had a poll (it's still ongoing, actually) asking what types of things people would like to see more of on Egg Cave, and most people voted...

@inkpelt No, that was just a user-made Halloween thing 😊The myLights competition was a Christmas contest. People had to decorate their homes, and take pictures. Some info on it can be found here: http://eggcave.com/history/mylightsThis month didn't interest me much. But on other months, I was t...

@connorYeah, I quit for a while because all anyone was interested in were the new CC creatures and how they could trade for them and whatnot. It's exciting when we get new creatures, but not when they cost a lot of money. I don't think pixel creatures are worth real money, you know? There's anot...

@inkpelt I totally agree. I just wish there would be actually more "free" things to do on this site, since it says that this site is "free", but the things that a big part of it aren't free. :/The Halloween Bash was fun; it had nothing to do with CC and the creatures weren't h...

clayosaurusrex • 24 November 2012 at 12:21 PM
@karamel Yep. This site is going whacko and that is why I made this topic.
karamel • 24 November 2012 at 12:19 PM
@clayosaurusrex I can click on some pop-ups, they just don't work... Like with Gobblers, but it says I've already found that Gobbler. Plus the site is more slow than normal...I've lost 2 cave tries too >< (I click and nothing pops up, but my tries are used up). Also when I try to delete on...

I think I've found out what might be wrong.Since Egg Cave has not (in a long time) used the mechanic of an image on a random page on a random time, perhaps the site may be loading slower because it isn't used to this mechanic. Also, even maybe the software may have a few screwups in remembering th...

@furfur I just joined, and maybe you could help me around the site??
lahira • 24 November 2012 at 7:57 AM
Same problem here. I upgraded from FF 16.2 to FF 17 and also with FF 17 I have the same issues. It does work when I click 'open in new window'.BTW also eggs from the cave won't load for me, so it looks like more than there is more than one issue currently with the site.

@prettypony0914 It means just that, Gobblers will randomly appear on any page on the site. There are no set places that they will show up. They can show up on any page and any where on the page.
Meteoroid • 23 November 2012 at 7:05 PM
Since it's a duplicate, I'll be locking this. We're currently looking into the issue. The site is having all sorts of hiccups.
crescentfeather • 23 November 2012 at 6:56 PM
I tried to steal from the cave. The little popup that allows you to name and steal an egg wasn't loading. 15 minutes later, it still wasn't loading. I tried stealing another, with the same result. Now all my steal attempts are gone. :/The site has been REALLY slow lately >_<
Orderedchaos • 23 November 2012 at 4:03 PM
We are aware of this problem and are working on solving it. Part of the problem is the amount of traffic the site is receiving right now. There are so many people on the site that things like page load times are slowing way down.Right now the best thing to do is to wait for Ian to figure out wha...
