@autumnal I agree. At least the way it is now, new and free players can earn EC to trade with older players who have creatures that they want. If cove expansions become cheaper, why would older players ever want EC? Thus, this site would be incredibly pay to collect, and it already is that way. It w...

As many people were saying in Ida's thread about this same topic, decreasing the amount of EC required to expand coves would deflate the value of EC such that it would be even more difficult for free players to acquire CC than it already is. It is tempting to want to make cove expansions cheaper, bu...

Bump bumping this up cause this is IMPORTANT. I think the bulk buy would work well too! Maybe +200ec per every say, 50 spots would cut down on cost and also help with the problem. Right now, I don't want to buy any expansions unless it's absolutely necessary, because I honestly don't want to sit...

@mightyeglantineI think the key thing to consider here in the (valid) point that you have raised is that... Your experience was years ago. Since then, the economy of EggCave has become so warped that the hopes of encountering that 'dream trade' has become so minute that we're crying out for easier...

Frankly, I think a really simple fix for this one could be utilising the strongroom's quantity display in the stores. I am constantly searching my strongroom when I'm browsing the stores to see whether the item I'm about to buy is already in there or not. If I could see a quantity on the purchase pa...

I think a 'feed all' button really takes away from the spirit of EggCave. It's not meant to be an easy one-click-wins-all concept. You're supposed to value your creatures as if they were pets - hence why putting them up for adoption is such a guilt-infused performance. To 'feed all' removes a...

Saw this because of @/prairies bump & I got to say, the concept art is just wonderful. I also love the inspiration as I’ve heard of that story many times myself. I hope this eventually becomes an actual creature on the site!

Going through and finding alot of suggestions I'd love to see join the site!(I'm splurging. there are so many)I've always loved the concept & colors of this one, I think it'd be a great addition to the site during spring 2023 or a floral theme. Pings:@ian@poe@pipkitten@orderedchaos

Its been awhile since I've seen this topic active, but I adore this suggestion's design so much that I need it talked about & adored more. @sky did a amazing job on this creature, and I'd love to see it on the site!Pings:@iia@rubymae@pipkitten@ian

@raretreasurehunter56 That’s totally fine ^^ Though, my response might be a little misunderstood because of my wording & also, differences of opinions always happen 😊Ill give a quick response & what I feel like, as a later player of course, I admit that many older users might have differing opi...

After several long years, I finally decided to check up with this site. I was planning to get some resurrection stones to revive some of my creatures such as the Skrute, Kampos, and Bauble. However, I realized that there is a feature where these retired creatures may be rereleased. I noticed that th...

fed 8:10 PM 22 july(I'm seeing this as my 8th feed. went through the pages twice using the 'find on page' feature. just wondering if one of my feeds didn't count for some reason. Official count currently says 6.It's fine, just curious.)

@wonder404exe ewww, thankfully it's still the same for me on Recent Topics, but not looking forward to if/when it changes there too.*sigh* So wish they would make site skins a thing here.@heatherm19 I'm using different OSs and different browsers, and the new small tiny font is on all of...

It's too hot in my house, I'm melting D:I also feel like I should do a giveaway, so I have room to keep collecting. Maybe move some creatures around on this site. Just don't know if other people will love monthlies as much as I do, lol.

My first instinct is the defend Eggcave, because I *do* understand from their point of view why something like this may be needed going forward, to combat bots and multi-account abuse that's already been an issue. However, it does feel like they kinda dropped the ball on this one. We got an init...

@tehuti88 - I'm a little annoyed by it too, so you're not the only one. Currently have no way of verifying myself either, and I had a feeling back when the SMS feature was new that the anniversary CC gift would require it due to the "main accounts only" rule. Stopped me from looking forward to it si...

I know I'm yelling into the void but today for the first time, to claim a prize I was able to claim last year without any issue, I needed to provide a mobile number and verify my account via text message. This made me angry but I wished for the prize, so I had to use my mother's mobile number, since...

I PRESSED THE REFRESH shfwieufbefiefov *sad :c*1. Only game I did is the site trivia BCS its easy but the other ones- Not worth it1. I cant spent EC on here. It seems nicer to have a system to turn EC to CC. People spent thousands of USD on this game, for virtual pets.2. My friend got an...

@heatherm19 Oh yes! I am first going through all the ones I want to add to my wish list. Then will begin with all the others. Some are just sooooo sweet! 😱 Where have I been? I didn't even know this site existed! ☹️
nocutenameforme • 16 July 2022 at 2:21 AM
@heatherm19 Thank you so much! Right now, I am just trying to familiarize myself with a lot of the items on site, and pricing. As long as a majority of the older items are there, I will be happy. I am really interested in also learning the lore, and storylines of creatures, etc. I kinda feel lik...

@nocutenameformeUnfortunately, I don't think so. But there is a site that has lists of every item on eggcave and other useful guides called Eggcavity-Here's the url to the item index:https://eggcavity.com/item-indexHope this helps ^^

I haven't noticed much lag recently myself. Maybe some rare-ish, minuscule moments here and there (i.e. it's mostly just a few seconds more to load at most), but I think that's on my end since it's not always exclusive to EC. I'm usually more active during the site's early morning hours, so maybe th...

Well, after reading here, I'm sorry but also somewhat selfishly happy it doesn't happen just to me 😃 Hopefully someone will do something about it, feeding is a burden! Takes ages!
