She grabbed her tankard of cider and stood beside the fireplace, staring dreamily at the glowing embers and jumping flames. 'Interesting people indeed.' She thought, seeing the waitress fetch more Biteroot out of the corner of her eye.

Haku blinked at the beauty's reaction but shrugged it off. Now he was over the shock, the bitterness held no obstacle and he downed it with ease, then proceeded to pay.
When tucking away the change, he was stunned to discover a slip of paper attatched. The waitress's name.
A slight blush crept up his cheeks and he looked both embarrassed and annoyed.

Cylan had the dog-boy in the corner of his eye as he paid for his drinks. He watched his reaction as the waitress slipped him a piece of paper. Her name no doubt, which was quite funny. Even more funny was his reaction - completely hilarious. Cylan had a feeling that he could be entertained for hours just by watching that boy. And the other one, the pretty elf girl, she also had hilariously over-the-top reactions to things.

Overall, the night hadn't been to bad. Perhaps he hadn't held the waitress' attention, but no matter, it seemed as if he had found some people to hang around; at least until he got bored of them. He made a mental note to try to talk to them in the morning as he paid for his room.

The keeper nodded and took two tokens of gold. The man seemed shy and cowardly, it was no wonder the inn was so rowdy; the keeper was weak. He started guiding her to her room when a troll grabbed her arm. "Hello, want to come with me little woman?" He said smoothly, yet Aubrey knew this was a trap.

She tugged away and struggled but her attempt to escape attracted more attention from other trolls who hollered and surround her. "Let me go!" She yelled and trashed, looking for something to use as a weapon. She looked to the innkeeper for help but he wouldn't budge for his life.

Mystica turned away from the entrancing voice of the Innkeeper's tales. As interesting as it was, she wanted some rest. Already having booked a room, she headed to the hallway. There, she noticed a Troll, grabbing a young lady. Squeaking for her courage, she nervously approached the Troll, now having summoned his friends. Messily pushing past the Innkeeper, she approached, and said in an uncharacteristic voice "Let her go."

Sometimes Haku entertained himself by wondering which side of his family had given him his looks, his mother's or his father's? Knowing nothing about either, it was just idle speculation, but still, he wished to know which had bestowed on him his curse.
Once, a giggling girl asked him how he had got his hair so silky.
After that, it had just escalated.
Haku could not imagine anything more mortifying than a drunk man yelling across the bar that he was prettier than his girlfriend, which had happened several times, and twice he had actually been MISTAKEN FOR A GIRL. He could only suppose how drunk they had been.
He shook his head in disbelief and retreated into his room, falling backwards onto his bed with a yawn.

Cassandras thoughts were ripped away from the entrancing fire, as the Mystic Elf girl cried out. She ran, to see the girl unable to free herself from a trolls grasp. And the Innkeeper doing nothing to stop it. Quickly unsheathing the dagger from her thigh, She held it inches from the trolls eye.
"Unhand the girl, or the last thing you see will be this blade." She warned coldly.
The troll was far larger than her or the other Elf, so there was a chance things could get very ugly. The Innkeeper, being of no help, had fled downstairs.

Cylan eyed the girl and troll, wondering whether to get involved. In his experience, you generally suffered less injury by not getting involved, but the trolls didn't seem to bad, and he had wanted to be friends with the girl, so perhaps stepping in wouldn't be out of his interests.

With a sigh, he sauntered over to them.

Mystica snarled at the band of Trolls "We can do this the easy way... or the hard way.." Unsheathing her sword, she began to take on a battle pose, ready to smite these Trolls. Of course, it wouldn't be too much for her... it was just a Troll, after all. She'd encountered worse on her way here, and she wasn't going to fall at these Trolls' hands... They weren't even hygienic...

Aubrey relaxed then kicked her foot back, causing the rug to move and the troll to slip. "YOU BLOODY WENCH!" The troll yelled. The cronies yelled remarks at the two girls, vile as they were she ignored their stupidity. "You take the left, I take the right she," told the wood elf.

She took a fan off the wall, it was a traditional Chinese one but it had blades at the end. She kicked back a few trolls but many were closing in from every side.

Cylan sighed as he approached. He was almost tempted to walk away, considering as the three ladies seemed to be doing alright by themselves.

Pulling himself together, he slammed a kick into a troll's thick skull, sending it reeling. The next blow - to the sensitive area behind the ear - knocked it unconscious. Feeling rather pleased with himself, Cylan turned to see how the others were going.

Mystica was appalled by the lack of acknowledgement, but she shrugged it off. It was better to fight then stop and do some formalities... like 'acknowledgement'... She leapt up, beheading trolls from all around her. God bless her trusty sword... Its name was 'Mirakyr'. Stabbing viciously, Mystica attempted to commit a full mass-murder, but the trolls seemed to be overpowering her.... She struggled to kick as many off as possible. If she was going to die, she would take as many trolls with her as possible.

"Got it." She replied to the Mystic elf.
Dagger in hand, she lunged at the trolls emerging from the left, aiming for the eyes, and the throat. As one of the nasties reached out to grab her, she sank her blade deep into his eye socket, making a wet *shluck* sound as she tore it back out. The troll fell to the ground, clutching its face pitifully.

From the corner of her eye, she saw a man who resembled a rather lovely bird, with all the feathers throughout his hair, who seemed unsure of what he wanted to do. And a very angry looking feline, brandishing her sword, and attacking the wretched foes.

"Ouch! No! Get off!" She cried as the men tugged on her, bumping and grabbing her.

One had managed to pull off her jacket, which contained the map to the mythical city. "No!" She cried out as a few men retreated with her map. The crowd was thinning, some leaving and others lay face down on the floor.

Cylan eyed the fight uncertainly. Those women were vicious. And where on earth did all those weapons come from? As the trolls attempted to overpower one of them, Cylan once again slammed a kick into it's ear, sending it crashing to the ground.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw one of the elves put out one of the trolls eyes. He grinned at her, "Nice."

Utilising as many attacks known to her as possible, Mystica attempted to keep the trolls busy. She conducted some of the most powerful attacks she knew - yet they kept coming! Coming, coming and coming! What was she to do? She would die of energy loss. "The present, not the future, is what matters," she muttered to herself, resuming her attacks.

"Looks like you could use a bit of help?" She snarled as dug her dagger into a trolls throat.

As they finished off the last of the trolls Aubrey introduced herself. "Hello, I am Aubrey, thank you for helping." She bowed to them and smiled broadly.

She then turned to the inkkeeper," I shall be paying for their stay," she told him. The innkeeper nodded,"I meant to tell you," he explained,"There are only two open rooms, two gold covers more than enough."
