They trudged off towards the [okay I don't really know the name of the clothes place...😋] and purchased a few thick cloaks and other warm things. Cylan made sure that everything he bought for himself was extra thick.

Haku felt completely parched. He knelt on the floor and tilted his head so he could drink from the tap. His skin itched something fierce. He was so sick he couldn't think straight.

Cassandra bought herself a thicker cloak, and some heavy boots. She got a few more cloaks for everyone else, and three heavy blankets. She grabbed a bunch of non perishable foods, and meat to roast as well.

"Well, That looks to be about it. Do you have everything you need?" She asked Cylan, as she paid for what she had got.

"Yup, let's head back" he grinned.

The two of them wandered back to the inn, weighed down by numerous heavy bags. Once they entered, the heat blossomed in Cylan's face and he shook the snow off his cloak and out of his hair. "I wonder where the dog is?" he grinned, suddenly remembering, "It would be fun to see him wandering about all lovey-dovey"

Aubrey took off her boots and scarf, then wandered around. She wondered where the canid boy went. She hoped he wasn't off getting married to someone. "I should... Just take a bath, forget about it," she thought to herself.

Cassandra dropped the heavy bags with an sigh of relief. The heat warming her instantly, making her feel like an ice sculpture that was melting.

"Finally." She remarked. "I wonder where he is too..." She looked around, let down there was no silly love struck prancer. "Maybe he's sleeping?" She suggested to Cylan. "If anything we should get this stuff to the rooms, so no one comes in and takes it." Cassandra thought out loud, picking the heavy bags back up.

Aubrey took a quick bath then dried her hair. It sure had warmed her up but she still had a fever. She put on a silk night dress and walked into the lobby. Yes, it was uncommon to see a girl in a lobby in a short, white night dress without sleeves, but Audrey was really worried about the Canid.

The Innkeeper carried the bag containing Haku to an abandoned shack a few streets down. He shivered, and not because of the cold. It seemed to him that the bag had lightened considerably during the journey. The fact that the kid was young increased his chance for survival, however, if anyone found out about what had happened, the Innkeeper was dead meat. And it was inevitable that they'd hear, if the stories and rumors the Innkeeper had heard about Canine-Humaniods reactions to the particular toxin that particular love potion had happened to contain. He slapped a hand to his forehead and groaned. Why oh why?
He left the kid in the bag, but left it untied, however he locked the door and windows so he was trapped inside.
He felt sorry for the kid, it wasn't his fault. If only that stupid girl had drank the darned thing.

Cylan lugged his bags up to his room and poked his head round the door to see if the Canid was there. Empty. Cylan shrugged, he was probably just following someone around like a love-struck idiot. Oh well.

He sighed as he dumped his bags to the floor and he pushed open the door to the bathroom. He planned on having a very long, hot shower before going to bed. He turned on the water, it was steaming. What bliss.

As the innkeeper re-entered the house, Aubrey was curious if he was aware of the location of the love-struck boy.

"Hello, sir? Sorry to bother, but do you know the whereabouts of the canid boy staying here," Audrey couldn't help but feel like something was missing, that something was wrong. As the innkeeper shook his head Aubrey grew worried.

"Oh well thank you, I should go looking for him," but when she saw the innkeeper scowl she realized that was a stupid idea. It was dark and cold out there and she was in a night dress.

The boy could handle himself, well Aubrey hoped he could.

When Haku awoke, his skin felt heavy with sweat. Gross.... He thought, and tried to brush it away.
He paused. Was that.... Real?!?
He breathed fast, panicking. The air felt hot and stale... He ripped the bag open with his claws and lay there panting. Something felt odd about his hands. He looked down at them and let out a yelp.

Cassandra dropped the bags in the room, and discarded her cloak. She went into the bathroom in her room to wash her face and change into her sleeping gown. When she emerged, her long hair was brushed out silken straight, and her thick winter clothes replace by a short sleeved, knee length gown. Made of a material so light it flowed with every step she took.

She walked into the hallway and heard the shower in to boys room, so she made her way back to the lobby to find Aubrey and see if the Canid boy had shown up yet.

[Haha so much action happening. Will Haku ever be found? Will the Innkeeper get his just desserts? WE MAY NEVER KNOW 😋 ]

Has anyone ever said anything to you and you thought it was so wrong at the time, but then you realize how true it was?
That was how Haku felt when he realized how much the name humans had been calling him for his whole life suited him.
They had called him a dog.
Well, oh boy, now he really was a freaking dog.
A ghostly howl echoed round the town and the Innkeeper cursed, scowling with worry.
Haku took one step forward and fell over.

Aubrey spotted Cassandra and ran over to her. "Have you seen the Canid? I can't find him, anywhere. Nor does the keeper know," she explained to Cassandra.

Cylan frowned. The water was beginning to get cold. That was so irritating, he hated when it happened. "Stupid inn," he muttered to himself, "doesn't even have a decent amount of hot water. I swear I was only in there for a minute before it all ran out."
He stopped in front of the mirror to preen his feathers. His eyes were suddenly drawn to the basin, where deep claw marks were gouged into the porcelain bowl. He stared at the marks stupidly. Only the Canid could have made them. And now he was missing. Something was definitely wrong. Cylan dressed quickly and left to tell Cassandra or Aubrey. As he left the room, he noticed the drag marks across the carpet. That was a bad sign. He hurried downstairs.

"No, I haven't seen him anywhere, I came down to see if you had seen him..."She replied. "Something isn't right about this.." She murmured, looking around,worried. Suddenly she saw Cylan rushing down the stairs.

"Cylan, have you seen any sign of him?" She asked, gesturing around the empty Inn.

"Alright..Let's get changed into regular clothes and start looking for him. Something is very,very wrong." She suggested to them.

She sneezed then realized how severe this could be. Her immune system might not be able to handle it.

Cassandra nodded and rushed upstairs to get changed. She quickly got undressed, and put on warm clothes. Once fully dressed she slipped on her new, winter boots,attached her sword to her hip,grabbed her new thick cloak, and rushed down the stairs.

"I didn't see any kind of tracks in the snow when we were walking back from the shoppes... I think we might have some luck if we check behind the Inn.." She told Cylan. She turned to Aubrey.

"I agree with him. You really don't look well, and this weather is only going to make it worse.." She said, frowning.
