Somebody hijacked a Nintendo lorry filled with special edition Splatoon games! Poor UK... The Splatoon hype is nearing an end as the game begins to arrive in the game stores... I should be safe and buy from the eShop and get a digital copy...

I like this a lot XD

Though (literally) it us used more as a conversing box than one for shouting- unless something really exciting happens.

For example; I beat Kingdom Hearts 1.5 in less than a week without a walkthrough on medium difficulty- all dalmations and trinities covered! 19 hours well spent! 😃

Now to cry over the fact that there are other people who have beat the game on proud mode in less than five hours...

Well, the Altador Cup is starting soon for Neopets, will anyone participate in this fine game that ACTUALLY EXISTS!? I can't remember what it is called but it's a game that's dying and super dangerous as the fastest speeds have been clocked at over 200 miles or km an hour.

I've been on the bandwagon since the second game and I'm staying on the wagon until the movie is released! Oh I hope it's a PG movie so there could be McDonalds toys released (I would go have a happy meal just to get them).

$70!!! *checks local shop* Oh please, it's $80 here! That's nearly half of the 2DS price! How in the world do game companies get away with these ridiculous prices?! No wonder we spend 8 million hours playing video games a day, we have to get our 80 bucks worth on a game!

At least Pokemon has had two free games (Pokemon shuffle and rumble)

@nightmaremoon12 @mastergemma - I don't even have a Wii U, and I really want to play it despite not really enjoying shooters. ;-; Right now me and my mother are saving up for a pre-owned 3DS for me, so I don't want to seem really unreasonable and suddenly say "I also want a Wii U and a new, probably very expensive game I know we currently can't afford"...

Brb, checking prices on GAME's site...
...£33 new at GAME, £24 pre-owned at CEX. Seems cheap, but with the costs for an entirely new console... we aren't exactly the richest of families, either... welp. I guess I'll wait about 10 years.

The 2DS is so much cheaper and for now, the 3D really isn't worth it.

I don't have a Wii U either, I still have the 'classic' wii and I'm not going to update it.

@mastergemma - Everyone tells me that, but I really don't exactly want a 2DS... The fact that they can't fold puts me off enough. Some pre-owned 3DS's seem to also be slightly cheaper.

Facts: Splatoon is a post-apocalyptic game where squids and octopi are the dominant creatures. Humans are forced to live underground due to the water levels rising and fossils of them have been found. Squids and the octopi had to fight for the remaining land. The squids lost because they woke up too late to fight back. Since the flooding, Splatoon takes place over 10,000 years in the future, and is in the Mollusk Era. Totally did not find these facts from tumblr. For a post-apocalyptic game, it's colorful unlike other games like it (fallout, etc etc) and this is unlike that game, Call of Duty... eugh. CoD is unoriginal, it's just the same game over again. Splatoon is different. It has originality and creativity 😊

I've been swooning over videogames all morning, as it happens. The GoG sale just started, and one of the games from my childhood was 99p, which I couldn't resist buying. They actually gave me SimCity2000 free with it as well, which is another I remember playing back in the day, so that was awesome. I'm also really looking forward to the Steam summer sale happening sometime this month, according to the internet, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for those discounts when the time comes!

At the moment I'm playing an absolute ton of Skyrim, but I've wanted to check out the Fallout series for a long time, and with the announcement of Fallout 4 yesterday, I'm either going to wait for release, or pick up 3 the next time it's on sale. My other random idea is to refurbish an ancient Gameboy of mine, so that I can enjoy even more nostalgia 😃

Ahh, the Altador Cup! The only reason why I haven't given up on Neopets completely! But unfortunately will all the cheaters participating I may not even bother participating next year *sigh*. We already know that Kiko Lake is going to take the cup, just finish it now.

GoG sale? I hope that with the Steam sale Terraria and the FNAF games are on sale! And hopefully each one is under $10 AUD :/

Hopefully by the end of the month the Australian dollar becomes stronger.

Things are so, so cheap when they do them that it's impossible to resist! I got a £15 game yesterday for £3.50, and there's a few newer releases I'm keeping on my radar in the hope that they get discounted too (Shadowrun: Boston Lockdown in particular). But the Steam sale is always the best one, so fingers crossed it happens soon ^^

I just hope I don't miss the Steam sale (hasn't been on Steam in ages). In terms of time, I don't have any for hardcore games like Skyrim. I prefer my games being short and sweet, like League of Legends. You can play a few matches a day and they are normally around half an hour.

Short and sweet. And I don't need to remember where I left off (hahaha...... I've had to restart games so many times because of this).

It lasts a week I think, so there'll be plenty of opportunities for bargains ^^ Skyrim's one of those that I don't expect to ever finish completely, but going on there for a few hours a day and doing a couple of quests is more than enough to keep me satisfied. I also like the fact that it's completely open world, and you can choose to completely ignore the storyline if you want, and just do side quests 😃
