There has been ice all over my street and pretty much everywhere these past two days... it only started melting away naturally around this afternoon... and it doesn't help that it keeps raining and snowing. This is when you truly know it's winter.
So, how is everyone? Everyone at school is getting overhyped for Christmas, and have been since November... please help.

@sparklefox I know, right? We've been getting snow too. The other day it did rain and snow mix, so the roads were very slippery. Today the snow is a bit slippery too.

So, Monday was quite a stressful day for me to start off the week after Thanksgiving. X(

It was also the first time I ever had my car break down on me when I wasn't at home. I am so glad it didn't happen when I was out in the middle of nowhere driving to Austin to see my sis for the holiday. To add insult to injury was I was pretty close to my college campus so I could've walked if I didn't receive help straightaway. Luckily, I received assistance from a police officer almost immediately. He gently pushed my car forward with his squad car so I can stay out of the way of any incoming traffic, then helped me the rest of the way until I parked at a small street next to the campus.

Since my cell phone was a dead weight and I was unable to contact my dad before class started, I had to email him through my laptop since I knew he would at his computer. When I did finally call him and soon met up with him by my car, we got a tow truck to come and drag my car to the Chrysler repair shop just a couple miles away. Who knows what the bill is going to be atm.

I was honestly very fortuitous on several occasions to this scenario, since again, I could've been stranded in the middle of nowhere with no assistance whatsoever.

@aardbeix3 No worries, I am doing a-okay. Only thing I'm worried about now is making my final hurdles as my college semester is drawing to a close. Hopefully, by tomorrow or so, I'll get my car back from the shop. I sure felt weird and tall as I was driving my dad's SUV to class earlier today.

Ah, I love listening to one of the most hated songs on Earth.
Here With Me by Dido is a song every one hates not because it's a poor quality song, but because it makes so many people cry.

This song is so beautiful and is always used in advertisements to promote safety. I know many people who will flick the channel or leave the room when they hear this song and I feel bad for playing it full blast on my speakers.

How is it living in a place that's cold enough for snow? I need to travel over two hours to reach mountains with snow and when I went the snow was more of a sheet of ice which was very disheartening. Where I live there normally is some frost but the winter season that just past only had about 14 days with frost.

It's good to hear that you are safe, good luck with college!

My car is a tiny little thing and once I had to drive my mother's car which is a Tarago, an 8 seater with a LOT of room in the trunk. And it was an automatic so not having gears was very strange

@mastergemma - Good, I guess. We get a lot more ice than snow. I would probably enjoy it a lot better if I wasn't always surrounded by girls wearing thin coats that aren't suited at all to non-spring weather and skirts, with the thinnest and shortest of socks, constantly complaining about the cold. There hasn't been anything more than just frost since my last post, which I'm not sure should be a good or bad thing.
And I feel sorry for you...

I've applied to a technical high school. I'm really excited to go there since it's the school is really new and shiny.

But, I don't know what trade I should take. I'm deciding between IT networking, graphic design, or printing. Thankfully at the beginning of the year, there's an exploratory program to try out different things. I really enjoy drawing, but I'm not sure how much money it would make in the long run.

Or I could just teach myself coding and take the graphic design program, so I could be an unstoppable force of nature.
