I live on Guam, no snow here, just Santa riding all over the island on a firetruck!

@fakeworld I like the cold too though, but I don't mind this weather either 😊
especially when I have to go to to work, I hate it when it's freezing, the road is so dangerous then :/

@zoa how cold is it where you live? 😊

but yeah, no snow here in Belgium...

@aardbeix3 - not cold here at all.. Hawaii is known for that. 😉 I live in the mountains and it is mostly wet around 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

What you guys consider cold in Hawaii might be a bit warm for us on a typical winter day lol. How could does it actually get?

Merry Christmas!

A conversation about the weather, I'm in! Time to grab the Celsius to Fahrenheit converter...

@fakeworld
@zoa
There's snow in Hawaii? I never knew that! In the southern half of Australia 70F would be considered warm. For up north that would be a nice day!

Just where I am, a warm Christmas in Australia can range from around 65F to 110F and it can be sunny, windy or stormy and there's a good chance of hail this year. Last time there was hail on Christmas it was the size of tennis balls! Cars that were left out in the hail had so much damage that most were considered unworthy. I found that hilarious but now that I have a car I don't think it is at all!

@nightmaremoon12
Well it will be a fire helicopter where I am.

A normal winter day here in the U.S. on the east coast (mid-atlantic) can be anywhere between 20-30F and if we're lucky, 40 or 50F degrees.

We won't start seeing anything in the 70s until the start of spring lol. I would honestly love to have Hawaii weather.

We got snow for the first time this week. I was very displeased.

I JUST finished all my wrapping. I have two more gifts to buy tomorrow.

I'm so done with shopping right now, oh gosh.

I was warming my car up this morning, and accidentally hit the automatic window thing. I quickly put it up cause my windows were frozen.

Later when my car thawed, I was driving down the highway. And suddenly my window just fell into my door.

Not very impressed right now. I want warm weather.

I'm not even following any conversations but this is a nice poem (:

The Christmas Gift

It isn't the flowing ribbons,
draped and curled with extra care,
or the fine and fancy bows
tied with ornamental flair.

It isn't the label on the box,
the sum of money spent,
or anything that shows the length
to which you obviously went.

The beauty of a Christmas gift
cannot be seen at all.
For the loveliness of giving
is a feeling, grand and tall.

It's the genuine offer of love,
the yearning to make a connection,
a show of honest gratitude,
a display of sincere affection.

I finished all of my shopping last Friday. I hate shopping around this time, it's the absolute worst! The only good part about it is the sales.

I would be so upset, it must be super
cold where you're at.

So I was enjoying the warmth while we had it; it seems like the weather is starting to finally make a shift lol. Hopefully no blizzards come our way this year.

*praystheystayaway*

On the flip side of things, it is almost 3am EST and I cannot sleep at all! I am setting myself up for failure and a messed up sleeping pattern lol.

Hm, hey so...I'm new to the #Shoutbox so...hi? Excuse me, hello shoutbox people! Hope you all are having a great day/night! 😊

I'm honestly dreading the new year. After having a terrible year (2014) and a boring year right after (2015) I really don't know what it is like to have, heck, even a decent year! ^^"

Ahhh, well, I still hope for the best for all of my fellow egg cavers in having a good -no- great year! 😊

@hayz
Oh my yes he really does! An actual male V-Flower, my life is complete.

Is it just me or does Dex sound extremely like an English KAITO?

@schelke
Getting forum posts is easy, I would recommend reading many Archive entries so you know what has already been done. Plus I find it enjoyable to read up on the creatures that I own.

The first time I heard Dex though I didn't even think of Kaito. When I listened to him more often I realised the similarities.

Yesterday marked the 12th anniversary of Leon and Lola. I am still surprised how long ago they were released! And yet people believe Miku is the first who would be celebrating her 8th anniversary this year. I think it's the 8th this year for her.

Please help. I am actually panicking.

There's a horrible smell of gas coming from our bathroom. It got stronger as the evening / night went on. My mother is very reluctant on calling the company or some expert on seeing if it is an actual carbon monoxide leak. She keeps asking stupid things like, "what if it's my imagination", when everyone around her also smells it. "What if it's from outside", when LITERALLY every window is closed. "What if it's the smell of the neighbours' food". ...Really? She couldn't take any of our words for the truth. She called my uncle (luckily he lives nearby) for a "second opinion". She called him an expert for some odd reason, even though he has never dealt with this before.

She has decided that the smartest thing is to wait until morning to do anything about it. "If we're safe." And I quote her. I am actually shaking. I have a headache. I'm panicking too much and making myself feel worse by the minute.

Well, good night. Hopefully I am... "safe".

Deleted • 18 January 2016 at 6:21 PM

@sparklefox

I'd call the gas company.. That doesn't even sound safe. Even if one person smells it, not every one will.

@lilminxy_ - But that's the part no one is getting... No one wants to bother them in case it's a "false alarm"... But I think the company would understand why we called them, even if there was no leak. That smell is so strong when you walk to the bathroom, it's sickening.
I'm not sure if the smell has gone down a little, since my bedroom is the closest to the smell's location, but the door is almost fully closed... But I'm truly hoping it is. Pretty sure it is. I'll reassure myself with the thought that it has, since no more (albeit weak) smell is leaking through the door. Yay?

We have had smells like this in the past, but the culprit was a few miles or so away and no harm came with the horrid smell. In fact, I think no harm came from that at all. It was pretty much just the smell.
