I must agree with lilminxy_. It is definitely better to be safe! A few nights ago I accidentally left the gas on after making lunch and when my sister told me I felt sick.


From around Wednesday Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will be visible in a line in the sky! It will occur around an hour before sunrise and even a few of the brighter stars will be nearby to help you (Spica and Antares).

All will be visible to the naked eye which will be fun.

i wonder has anyone ever seen a tree fall down? like not when you cut one down but when you are just outside and you hear this awesome creaking and then a pop and another pop followed by more creaking. and By now you have already found the tree and your watching it fall.
yeah just like 20 minutes ago i did. it was in my neighbor's backyard. Dude its amazing!! ❤️ 😊 it really doesnt seem that cool until you actually expierence it :>

Can time hurry up and pass? Me, my sister, and her friend are planning on seeing a band in concert, and I cannot wait. I haven't been to a concert in...two years, now? Just thinking about it fills me with adrenaline! 😊

At least, waiting does have its pros. That is just long enough for me to get in shape and get a really cool outfit that would possibly make me look like I was one of the boys from that band, BUUUUUUT I'm stupidly impatient and this is still getting on my nerves, ugh!

Oh the last time I saw a 'concert' was either the Hooley Dooleys (rip off Wiggles), High 5 or The Wiggles when I was a small child. I would say that I haven't been in a proper concert but I have seen these kid bands perform around 13 years ago.

I'm waiting for Evanescence, BigBang, 2ne1, Girl's Generation, Sophie Ellis Bextor or Dido to come to Australia (specifically my state since I cannot travel to another state).

The weather is crazy as usual. It's summer but it hasn't been too warm (excluding two heat waves that disappeared within a few days). I'm just hoping that the horrid fire at the surf coast has been wiped out.

I would love to say that I haven't been to the snow. The one time I travelled a few hours to one of the few mountains with snow on it was really underwhelming. It was just ice.

Hello, new user to the #shoutbox (but not Eggcave xD). Funny how I've had this account for almost two years, even have a side account as well, been active for at least half of that time, and never knew about it.

@mastergemma I grew up in the southern United States, had only seen snow (less then 1 inch) 3 times in my whole life. I started school at a different college this year because I transferred. My new university is MUCH farther up north.

Needless to say, I have quickly learned that driving on ice, scraping snow off cars, and figuring out what brand of snow boots are good-quality has been a very dramatic experience!

On a side note, I really want a siberian husky puppy now that I live up north ):

Winter time is the most stressful time of year for me. I have an allergic reaction towards certain temperature changes, such as it being too hot or too cold.

Winter time is basically the time where I completely isolate myself in my bedroom bundled up in blankets when I'd rather be going outside building snow animal sculptures.

I'm sorry it's like that for you. I'm lucky enough to be without any real allergies to anything...
I love winter, but that's because the thrill of the chill only makes me feel more awake. Whereas heat just puts me to sleep, I literally can't get anything done. It's like reverse-hibernation OTL
Unfortunately I'm moving back into summer now, I don't want to goooo C''X

Also, I haven't posted anything on the forums that's not for a RP since July, and really I've said just incredibly little for years (at least one).

Argh, why is it every time I try to make a purchase online something muddles up. Steam won't display any pages and I'm starting to become annoyed because I have been waiting to play the Zoombini re-release for months!

Hopefully when I reinstall Steam it will work or I will tear up my steam card thing.

I keep telling myself that I do not have all the time in the world and that I will not have the patience (and health, in one case...) whenever I'm older. I was talking to my friend about Fallout 4 because when I'm at his place I play it. I just entered Diamond City. My friend won't allow me to watch him play because he will spoil the game and I just turned around and said *correct spoiler*

I guessed EXACTLY where my son was and what he was doing. I must admit I'm not happy that I guessed correctly when I was only mere hours in (got side-tracked with the Minute Men).

Has this happened to you for a game? You guess the ending or you guess a large part of the story? Do you then find it fun to discover this information in game?

To keep me motivated I will use scare tactics or I think about how disappointed I would be if I don't get this score or if I don't go out and see this person. Or I will treat things as a competition (like with staying on the top 50 users for an Egg Cave event). I'm stubborn enough that it works every time.

In terms of music, Move This Mountain by Sophie Ellis Bextor is motivational.

It's summer where I am but there hasn't been too much heat. But when it comes it's above 30 C+ for at least 5 days. What do you have to do for Candlelight? It sounds fun!

Well, it's like a candlelight dinner, and my class is in charge of organizing the event. We organize the food, the entrance, the placement of tables and drinks, and my class performs a play we write ourselves to entertain the guests. It's stressful, but it is quite fun 😸 But then again, I'm not doing as much as some of my other classmates so... ehe ><'

We also have to choose a theme, and the theme my class chose was Blacklight 😊

@neo My motivation comes like this - at night I have a plan of what I'm going to do the next day, I'll have it set in my mind that as soon as I get up I'm going to get ready to do that thing as soon as I can.
Tomorrow I'm getting up at 7, then as soon as I'm wide awake and dressed and all I'm going to do some art stuff. I have too many drawings to finish so I'm spending my day off tomorrow doing all that. Basically I have it set in my mind that's what's happening if that's any help on how to become motivated? Just kind of force it into your mind the night before when you're most motivated to do stuff. 😋 😊

Nice to see you again, I hope year 12 was hopefully enjoyable. From my own experiences it wasn't and not many people I knew enjoyed it (who can blame them).



Last week I was in Swan Hill which is a lovely town on the border of Victoria and NSW (only stating because it's a beautiful town and doesn't indicate where I actually live) to visit some family. I haven't seen my grandparents for many years and it was great to see them for a while.

Oh I wish I lived near my grandparents, they have so many stories to tell! Instead I had to hop on a plane home. Hopefully next year I can see them again.



I stayed up very late to watch the Nintendo Direct 'livestream' as I wasn't aware it was just going to be a six minute video. At least Pokemon Sun and Moon were confirmed.
