One week until my birthday!

Back to cooking again today! I've decided to make a pepper and onion quiche, so I've just blind baked the case, and now I'm leaving it to cool. It's one of those bizarre days where the weather is actually nice, so I'm not planning on making dinner too heavy- I'll pair it with a salad and the last of the bread (which I should make more of, come to think of it.) At the moment I'm just relaxing with a coffee, wishing I had more opportunities to write. The site I usually do all that on is going through a bit of a quiet spell, so a few of the stories I'm involved with are pretty much dead, and I'm so keen to find some new ones- only there aren't any I'm interested in! Ah well, it can't be helped đ

The nice weather continues! Took a walk down to the polling station this morning to vote, and then I had a really good character idea, so I've spent the rest of the day writing for that. At the moment I'm catching up on some videos while I browse Doc Martens, (my absolute favourite shoes)- as I'm thinking about getting a new pair for work, and they last forever. It's nice to be able to dress for summer at last!

Tomorrow my best friend is taking me out for lunch, then I'm visiting my second best friends family because apparently I have to although I did today. xD Then I'm just having pizza for dinner with my family. đ¸Funny how I went from wanting to do nothing to all this stuff coming up. xD

It's amazingly warm in the UK still. We can't quite handle it, but yesterday we were able to have dinner in the garden, and it looks like we'll have the opportunity again today (though I'm not the biggest fan of fending off wasps.) Then tomorrow it goes back to rain! Oh well đI've made some sourdough, but I'm still in the mood to cook, so I'll see what I can rustle up for this evening. I had a random idea for salsa, maybe? Something light, anyhow ^^

I really want an xbox. At my boyfriend's house I get to play his games and I've become obsessed with the games! Before Dark Souls III was released, I was obsessed with Fallout 4 but oh my Dark Souls is so difficult! I'm 17 hours in and only up to the 4th boss but the game is so exciting!I'm also a complete sucker for story lines and completing what I have started so I'm going to obsess over it for a few more months and then go back to Dark Souls II as I haven't completed it. @naturegirl1999 The conversation is whatever is on your mind or just reply to another person's post. @mastergemma thank you. đ and yes, I believe so! đI haven't played any of the dark souls games but they look really good! A friend of mine wants me to play one of the games since they're apparently really hard to see how quick I can get rough but I haven't had the time to bother with them yet. đI get through games quick.I'm replaying Alice madness returns at the moment. The tomb raider games are my favourite. Although I prefer the trilogy to the older and new versions. Haven't played rise of the tomb raider yet as its not out on PlayStation and I don't want to play on PC. D:Haven't started BioShock infinite yet, have only bought it. đMy best guy friend won't play injustice with me since I always . xD I find it really amusing as he thought he was the better gamer. :')~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~One more long day of work to get through and I'm off or the weekend to go to the little mix concert and do some shopping and just be somewhere else. đ

So despite the fact that we still have sunlight and actual warmth over here, I decided to make spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, which involves standing in front of a molten frying pan, opening all the windows, and putting the extractor fan on to avoid filling the entire house with steam. Also, spoiler alert, if you fry up a load of meatballs, the smell will stick to you for the rest of the day đ (it's worth it though!) My other achievement for the day was finishing off a piece of writing, and discovering another use for Pinterest, which is to help get an idea of what you want your character to look like, by making a board of artwork which fits what you have in mind. I've made three so far, and the act of searching for art makes me want to play races/classes that I've never considered before. The one I'm currently the most excited about is a cook...I wonder why?

Just got back to the hotel from the little mix concert. They were amazing! Somehow our seats managed to be 3 back from the stage on the side part which made for an amazing view and really good photos! Soooo fun. I've pretty much lost my voice though. xD

I'm feeling especially tired at the moment- but that's because I've been pretty busy until now. I went to work this morning, came back, did laundry, and made sourdough, so I'm taking a well deserved sit down, and then getting back to Pinterest boarding. It's helping me a lot right now with the character writing side of things, which has started to feel a little tedious. I also considered getting back into painting, but I'm kinda tentative on that, because I haven't done it in a while. Looking forward to dinner tonight though, and a day of cooking tomorrow!

@noah @greengrass100100 I love painting!! I've been using just acrylic for years but I've finally decided to give oils a go. I used to hate them because they take so long to dry and require more effort to blend, but the results are a lot better than acrylic I guess! đI'd say get back into it. đ¸~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~..~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.Is it just me or are the new shapes so much better than the original? O.o

@crazyfeline I don't get through games quickly, I barely finish any of them. I finished a Pokemon game in over 100 hours, something that takes others less than 8 hours of gameplay. I just take my time with things, die a lot and become lost all the time so I don't advance far in an hour. Someone I know has Injustice. I wanted to play it but I only have a computer that runs on technology from 2007 so no gaming for me. My laptop is even worse, Minecraft barely works!I haven't tried the new Shapes but I've heard that they aren't as nice. I've seen a clip of a dog rejecting the shapes which made me laugh@greengrass100100 @possiegal I've stayed up until 2am doing work, I was barely okay the next day and passed out from exhaustion at 10. I do not condone this at all but it does happen.

@greengrass100100 yeah i know my mom usually stays up till around then and she gets up at like 8:30am. đ@mastergemma dude i cant even stay up til like 12:00pm XD im an early bird and i get up a 6:40 automatically every morning.

@mastergemma at least in taking your time with a game and getting lost you and say you got the most out of it. đHahaha!! I've read so many funny things on how bad they are that I was almost scared to try them - I think I might have an addiction..@possiegal I used to stay up until all hours of the night doing work then trying to finish it off in the morning before school. This was only for my makeup class - we had to get through a years worth of work faster than usual since we only had a half class each week so if we had have done normal pace it would have taken twice as long to finish. I remember one day we had an assignment for that class and I was up all night doing it thinking it was so long.....turns out I went into more detail than needed and it was actually a short thing. xD ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

@crazyfeline ooh i dont think i could stay up all night no matter what, i try to stay up late to do school but i just keep losing my train of thought, so if i need to get work done i need to get up early.đi do that too im like oh so much to get done... but if i would have just gotten it over with it, would have been done MUCH sooner XD
