Morning everyone! I'm in a really good mood- I was lucky enough to find a prankey today (I love the art!), and IRL I've found a really good recipe for slow roast pork that I've just started marinating, which is going to be incredible. I've also been looking for new computer games to play, and I never got round to buying Diablo 3, but the demo was awesome, so I think I might pick that up when I've got a minute. I'm a bit of a mono-gamer, I've discovered. I like to know that I'm going to get a lot of hours out of a game I buy, and have my money's worth. I definitely think that's possible with Diablo 😃 (It certainly was with Skyrim!) I've got the next two weeks off because of half term, so I'm looking forward to having loads of time to play ^^ Enjoy your weekends everyone!

Went to the cemetery tonight...at actualactual night...when it was dark. Took some photos. I have no idea why I did that, I just felt like it. Nothing in the pictures unless you believe in "orbs".... Each to their own but I'd say its just bits of dust or whatever in the air.

I got my silvernot! It took trawling through the archives and a lot of feeding, but I did it, and now I feel really proud. Can't wait to see what the rest of the artwork looks like!In cooking news, I'm doing pizzas today, so I've just made a load of dough, and I'll work on my sauce later this afternoon. I think I might keep mine vegetarian, but I make several at a time, so I'll prep some meat/fish ones as well for other people. Need to think of something to have on the side with it as well!Enjoy the Egg Hunt everyone!

@bunnyshadow Yikes! Anything finance always worries me. @crazyfeline I absolutely hate how costly concerts are! I still haven't been to a concert, well, unless you include Hi-5, the Hooley Dooleys and the Wiggles. I wanted to see Evanescence when they came down but I couldn't. The Vengabus is comingAnd everybody's jumpingNew York to San FransiscoAn intercity discoThe wheels of steel are turningAnd traffic lights are burningSo if you like to partyGet on and move your bodyThe Vengaboys are coming to Australia! Oh man I started listening to their music around a month ago. Hopefully S-Club 7 is next or Eiffel 65!
crazyfeline • 4 April 2016 at 7:39 PM
@mastergemma really? 😊 never go to one! It starts an addiction! 😋I used to go to the wiggles too haha! I saw they were doing shows for over 18s...the original group, don't know if it ended up happening but I had a look at the places they'd be at and no where around where I am. Some friends and I were going to go just 'cause. xDNever went to hi-5 - I used to watch it constantly, but I prefered the wiggles. 😊
mastergemma • 5 April 2016 at 12:23 AM
@crazyfeline I think the Wiggles 18+ event ended up happening, one of my friends may have gone to it. I don't think I would enjoy concerts anyway. I do not like large crowds and I do not care for loud noises. So concerts aren't very high on my to do list. I'm mainly waiting for Dido or Sophie Ellis Bextor to have a concert. Maybe even one of the k-pop groups that I follow. Just a concert with one of my favourite singers/bands.
crazyfeline • 5 April 2016 at 8:41 AM
@mastergemma that's fair enough. 😊Omg, I went through a phase where all I listened to was Sophie Ellis Vector when I was about 13....haven't listened to her music for years!! 😱 my mum used to love her when I was way way younger too. 😊_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-Today wasn't a bad day. Woke up early for once.Went down the street to do a few things then it was lunch time. Friend of mine and his family own a cafe so I went in for lunch. I ordered a take away meal so I could eat at home but my best guy friend showed up.....with the intention of doing the same thing, but then he suggested we just ate there. So that was fun.My friend working kept coming over taking any bit of rubbish off us he could just for an excuse to chat. It was a really fun lunch. Then I had after lunch until close. One of the girls said my eyeliner was perfect and I just felt really happy because I never even tried, I just drew a couple of lines and smudged them without taking much notice so I felt really happy I apparently got it right. :') Tomorrow I have the same after lunch - ose shift. Which I don't mind. I'm getting on really well with all the older people who do the closing shifts now that I've finished school. Its like they've fully accepted me or something. Not that I ever felt unaccepted. They just seem so much easier to talk to and make the late shifts kind of fun. 😊

I'm catching up with myself today- yesterday was all about writing, and one lot ended up taking me ages. This morning, I'm making fresh sourdough using a new technique I read about where you don't add the salt until the second prove- which means that the first one (which you leave overnight) ends up ENORMOUS. I actually tried this out the other day when I made pizzas as well, though it matters less with pizza dough, because it gets flattened out 😋 I've also been looking at proving baskets, as they leave an impression on the surface when you turn the sourdough out, and I think it looks really professional. I did end up buying a wooden bowl a couple of days ago, but the post is being particularly slow atm, so it might be a few days before I can try it out.

I always feel horrible about my hair after just getting it cut. I have fairly long hair - the front has short layers mostly because I hate not having hair out around my face while its tied up. These layers always get cut so short with every haircut. I just got a trim yesterday so theyre back to being real short and it just makes me want to cry. Although no one else seems to notice it. By the end of the month they'll be grow to a normal length again though so I'm sooking over nothing. xD
mastergemma • 10 April 2016 at 2:36 AM
@crazyfeline I've found someone whose aware of more of Sophie's music than just Murder on the Dancefloor! Now I must take leave before I start 'fangirling.' I am still undecided if I like that term or not. Anyway, I still enjoy Sophie's music a lot and I'm currently listening to some of her songs now.My hairdresser always did whatever she wanted with my and my twin's hair. You want a light blonde streak? No, go red. You want short hair? No, it won't suit you. I just let her do what she wants because it normally is nice. But once a few years ago she made a mistake. I ended up being a female Shaggy (from Scooby Doo). And the fringe, it was a nightmare! At that stage I already had masculine features and I was mistaken as a guy. Who am I kidding, I'm still called masculine as a friend told me so.At least I can pull of male cosplays if I ever decide to start cosplaying.
crazyfeline • 10 April 2016 at 9:22 AM
@mastergemma I seriously feel like listening to some of it now!! 😱Youve just managed to get murder on the dance floor stuck in my head. 😋 "Get over you" is my favourite by her. 😊Hahaha I remember when I first heard the word "fangirling" - took an instant liking to it. 😋I used to have a hairdresser like that...I told her I wanted my hair left long and she layered it up to my shoulders because she thought layers would suit me.Omg! A female shaggy haircut?! Can't say I'd be happy with that. xD did your twin get the same cut/s? You have a point on the cosplaying haha! 😊

I've had a busy few days! Yesterday I went with my family to the seaside, and there's a National Trust forest there which is supposed to have red squirrels in it, but we didn't see any (although I did 10 years ago, when I was last there on a college trip). We did a ton of walking though, and I found a dead crab, which I found weirdly interesting 😃 Then when I got back, I made a really nice mushroom risotto that took a million years to cook (they always do), and spend the rest of the evening watching Bosch. This morning, I finished a chunk of writing that I had postponed, and started slow cooking a veggie curry, which I'm serving with rice, sourdough, mandatory green thing I haven't decided yet, and aloo tikki, which are basically Indian potato cakes. Also, my bowl arrived! It's huge (about 15") and I can't wait to try it out the next time I make bread. Tomorrow I think I'm doing mezze, so I need to brainstorm the other dishes that I'm doing, because so far I've only thought of one, called chermoula, which I'm making with aubergine. Hope everyone's Mondays are off to a good start!

I feel so sick... This has been going on ever since Friday and Saturday... :C

100th post! *cheers*So I've been doing all sorts again today, and literally just got finished a minute ago. I've been stuck on some writing all morning, which was the main thing to finish, and I made a couple of bits for dinner as well that took a little while. Relaxing with some Youtube vids now!

4/13/2009 - 4/13/2016Well, we've had quite a run. Thanks for everything, Homestuck.
mastergemma • 17 April 2016 at 12:51 AM
@crazyfeline My twin didn't receive the same hair cut (which was great) At the moment, Today the Sun's on Us is my favourite song. I just love the meaning behind it and it's just such a beautiful song. @noah Aloo tikki sounds nice! I don't often have Asian food as my mother cannot cook Asian food well. But when I have the money to move out I'll be swimming in rice!Congratulations on your hundredth post! You can now enter the CDWC. What sort of youtube videos do you listen to? I need new things to listen to as the Science channels that I'm subscribed to haven't been releasing content that I have been interested in and the gaming ones haven't been the best lately.
noah • 17 April 2016 at 3:24 AM
@mastergemmaThank you! They were lovely, and everyone really enjoyed them. Submitted my entry to the CDWC too! Very excited to see how that goes. Writing is a huge hobby of mine right now- I love it.As for Youtube, I sub to a lot of gaming channels myself, but lately I've felt like the quality is dipping, and they're not as entertaining as they used to be. What I really prefer now are the campaigns from Roll20, where they'll do D&D-style games (not always fantasy themed), and go through the whole process from character creation to actually adventuring. I always find the stories really engaging, and I'm really impressed with the ideas that the players and GM come up with. itmejp is another channel which does these, and they're fantastic as well. My absolute favourite at the moment, though, comes from Yogscast Live, and it's called High Rollers. It's incredible. The story is fantastic, the players and the GM will make you laugh (and cry!) and it's so brilliant. I can't just have it on in the background anymore, I have to actually sit and watch it. Strongly recommend. I also love anything from Dexbonus- she does a lot of vlogging/streaming/crafting, and is just a huge idol for me, in general. Then there's Rosanna Pansino if you're interested in cooking at all, who's behind Nerdy Nummies- a channel that's about making food inspired by geek/nerd culture. She's super famous now as well, and actually has a book out! I ended up writing a novel, but I hope that's helpful!

kokumthena • 19 April 2016 at 10:45 AM
Umm hi everyone. I've got 2 more weeks of college classes left for this semester not counting finals week. And right now I keep checking my YouTube sub vids for the next game grumps dark souls 3 video. It's gotten bad....even worse than when they did Bloodborne.

Today's been fun so far! I've been to work and come back again, and finished another CDWC entry (#3) which, seriously, are a lot harder than I thought they'd be, but I'm really happy with what I've written so far. Might have enough time to do another this afternoon/evening, but I'm cooking Chinese food, so we shall see!
myriadium • 19 April 2016 at 6:26 PM
@noah Chinese food...mmmm...I'm hungry...(Also, I am working really hard to be able to go into the CDWC Contest. I love using my imagination and come up with awesome stuff 😃 )
crazyfeline • 19 April 2016 at 8:59 PM
Day off work. 😃I'm going into my friends cafe to pick up some lunch which I'm then taking around to a friends for me, her, and her family. Should be a fun day!Next month is my birthday and everyone's asking what I'm doing and that answer is nothing. I don't feel like doing anything really, its only my 19th..My three best female friends have decided we're all going out for lunch, which will be fun. 😊My best guy friend was disappointed I wasn't doing anything so he said a week after it when Alice through the looking glass is out we'll go see it and then go out for dinner. So that'll be good! 😊I like other peoples birthday more than my own, and I'm happy not doing anything, but I'm glad I have friends like that. 😊
provo7demons • 19 April 2016 at 9:01 PM
@greengrass100100I'm working on getting my post count to 100 as well. I probably don't have much of a chance, but I'll try it anyways!
myriadium • 20 April 2016 at 4:57 PM
@crazyfeline I know right. On your birthday, you get a treat by not doing chores 😊On most days, I have to clean the house from my room to the basement >.<You are watching Alice Through the Looking Glass?! OMG the trailer looks so exciting, though. I wish I can go there and watch the totally epic sequal to Alice in Wonderland. I read the book to that and I loved it. Lewis Caroll (is that spelled corrrectly? Dunno lol) has a great imagination!
april__ • 20 April 2016 at 7:37 PM
I'm graduating in a couple of weeks. I am so excited. 😃 Hope everyone else is doing well. 😱
crazyfeline • 20 April 2016 at 8:37 PM
@greengrass100100 Haha remember when it was a break from chores! 😊Its not anymore, I'll most likely be rostered on for work. 😋I'm really excited! The trailer looks great, and its been ages since the first one! 😊I also LOVE Johnny Depp!! And Tim Burton, although he never directed this one. 😋The book is good too! 😊@april__ oh wow! That's really exciting!Congratulations! What have you been studying? 😊
noah • 21 April 2016 at 5:26 AM
Phew- just finished my last entry for the CDWC! I could write them all day, they're so much fun to do!The rest of my day's going to be spent finishing off a beef stew I started yesterday (leaving it overnight improves the flavour), and I'll probably make some dumplings to go with it, as well as start some bread for tomorrow. It's one of my favourite things to eat- especially when it's slow cooked for hours and hours. Might make something else as well? I'll have to have a think ^^
myriadium • 21 April 2016 at 5:03 PM
@april__ Congratulations! Will you be on Egg Cave much (lol I almost typed in egg Cafe 😋 )
