Joseph shrugged and jumped on Crimson then headed for camp.

Saria waited then to Eragon, "Time to go."

Eragon nodded said bye to Arya and called Saphira. When she got down he hopped on and hoisted Saria up.

Firan jumped into Saria's lap.

Rynia sat boardly.

@fluffy nothing much, Sylvia wasa caught with Joseph, ceren thinks Joseph is a rouge and that he's dangerous, Sylvia is on cerens dragon with ceren and she just told ceren she's a dsughter of galbatorix, and silver_winged never responded xD

The sun was just begining to rise when Kyle woke up. He flicked his wrist, and a small pebble flew at each of the sleeping forsworn, waking them up. Kyle yelled out,"Wake up! Today, we practice ... Survival.", just then he spotted Joseph in the distance.

Jasper placed a hand gently on the egg. It felt cool and smooth. The egg was black, and it glistened brightly. Suddenly, the egg shell started to vibrate slightly and cracks formed.

Nehlil waited for Andrew to say something, anything was better to her than complete silence. She couldn't stand it when people started sentences but never finished them, which was an occasional habit of Orik. Suddenly remembering her father she jumped slightly. Feeling guilty all over at flying away from the Beor Mountains she jumped on Evarina.

She asked Evarina to go back to her home but found that the dragon wouldn't move. Nehlil grew increasingly frustrated as Evarina still would not take flight.
>>What?<< She asked suddenly to her dragon.
<<You forgot that you can communicate mentally didn't you?&gt;> Evarina asked in a snide tone.
Nehlil got off slowly and sat back on the ground. She felt stupid, and was embarrassed by her assinic actions.
Sending a mental message to Orik to tell him where she was she conveyed her guilt and her apologies mentally.

He understood and severed their connection quickly. Seeming to be angry at her but not wanting to show her.

Nehlil turned back to Andrew and studied his face carefully, knowing that he would notice.

Ceren nodded slowly to himself, repeating the statement once in his mind. There was no surprise in his voice; he had suspected it from the beginning. "Do you have any will to overthrow the school of riders Eragon Shadeslayer has created?" The question was simple enough. Kvaya began a spiraling descent down toward the docks, sensing that Ceren did not feel there was much left to say once he obtained his answer.

Ceren sighed audibly this time, eyes fixed on the dock. "I am afraid that answer will not suffice," he replied simply. As they lost altitude, the sounds of the city gradually floated up to meet them. He could distinguish several conversations on the surface, all in a foreign human tongue. "If you are to pose a threat, you must be imprisoned. If you are not a threat, however, you must merely swear a few oaths so we know you speak the truth. Then, you shall be trained like any other rider." The crackle of slowly burning wood met his ears, and it seemed to dawn on Ceren the kind of destruction this girl could cause.

The words themselves were thought with cold intentions, but Ceren's voice remained even and warm. "If you do pose a threat, actions will be taken so that you are no longer a threat. That being said, you must tell me the names of the others." Kvaya glanced back at her rider, slightly worried by the haste of his comments. "You seem to know far more about the spontaneous attack on the city than you ought to. I take it you have names and locations?"

Fiara touched the sparkling orange egg that had caught her eye. It's smooth and warm shell suddenly cracked and a small, orange, shrivelled up piece of flesh and bones came out of the egg. 'are you my mommy?' "Huh? Your mommy?"

Humans were awful liars, Ceren reflected with a frown. He could hear the girl's pulse quicken before she even uttered a word. "The names and locations of the 'they' that would come to your aid. The same 'they' that attacked the city a few hours ago." Ceren suggested to Kvaya that perhaps, they ought to let Eragon and Saphira handle the situation. Kvaya could not provide him with a definite answer; there was the risk of the girl running away the second they touched down.

Ceren came very close to sighing again. Mentally nudging Kvaya, she angled her wings upward, stalling their descent. It seemed they were in need of more time. "They do not sound like the kind of people you ought to trust," he replied simply. "These people, they seek to restore the Empire of Galbatorix. You did not live during that time, but if you had, you would see that Alagaesia suffered deeply; dragons were pushed to the brink of extinction, two of the old races were forced into hiding, and another two were enslaved. Why would you wish this fate upon the world a second time?"

"It was not that simple," Ceren replied softly. "You must at least look at this through the eyes of the dragons. They cannot risk being destroyed a second time."

Ceren stared out onto the horizon. Though his face was unmarred by the lines of age, his eyes were weary. "He almost succeeded in the genocide of the dragons," he repeated, very slowly this time. "He killed hundreds more humans and elves, young and old. He enslaved the Urgals, forcing them to serve as his armies. He enslaved and drove to death the Ra'zac, damned creatures that they were. He forced the oldest inhabitants of Alagaesia into prolonged hiding. He warped the minds of all those who served him. And yet, this was not enough. He sought to crush completely both the elves and the dwarves, and retain absolute power over the whole of Alagaesia." Ceren was silent for a long moment, nearly lost within his own mind. "He was not possessed, or otherwise influenced. These were all conscious decisions of his own."

Ceren allowed himself a deep breath, concentrating intensely on the air hissing through his nostrils, filling his lungs, and then escaping his mouth. The meditative action helped to draw him back into the world. "You need not be like him," he reminded her. The steely tone had faded from his voice, with a slight sort of sympathy taking its place. "All we need is your word."
