Ceren's hand lingered upon his sword up until he was sure that the boy and dragon did not intend to come back. With a quick, simply-worded spell, he redirected the fireballs so that they would not cause the city any further damage. After studying Sylvia's face, a frown appeared on his own. The two of them had exchanged words.

"He came here to cause trouble," Ceren replied softly, lifting his hand and pressing it gently against Kvaya's neck. The two of them continued to stare into the sky, following the purple dragon with their eyes. "And he left because he's coming back. It's possible that the hatchings were what brought on the attack. The couriers and riders need to vacate the city immediately." His eyes darted to the side as he mentally called out to the other mature riders: "We must leave."

"Kvaya and I will fly a patrol," he then added abruptly, swinging atop the silver dragon. She unfurled her wings, ready to take off. "To ensure they all left, or to secure their location. Gather your things and be ready to leave." With that, the silver dragon launched into the air, taking a single running bound before gliding smoothly into the sky.

Saria nodded and, "Ok I hear Eragon is coming. Area sent me a message saying that the Urgals had spotted a very big sapphire dragon heading this way." She said still glancing around.

@hedwig68 I don't think Ceren is that dumb, but he'll fly down to meet up with him. X3

Kvaya glided through the warm air over Surda, scanning the skies for movement. Ceren, partially standing in the saddle, searched the ground. Other than an attack on the young riders, he tried to think of a reason for the destruction of the city. It simply didn't make sense; the sheer number of powerful, highly-trained dragon riders about would cause any enemy to think twice about launching an attack. Additionally, the attackers had done more damage to the houses and buildings than to the citizens. It was an odd sort of message they were trying to send, Kvaya agreed.

A feeling of surprise brushed against Ceren's mind through Kvaya's. Indicating a certain spot in the sky, he turned his eyes to it as well. A partial smile spread over his face.

Eragon and Saphira were too far away to wave to, and would most likely have their minds protected. "Send them a hello," Ceren told Kvaya, sitting in a more relaxed position as they corrected their course. The silver dragon breathed a massive blast of fire into the air, silvery-white in color from both magic and heat.

Andrew sensed that something or someone was wreaking havoc nearby. He knew this because the birds, bugs, and mammals where nowhere to be found, and it was near dinner time. 2 hours still left of daylight, and nothing was chittering, or chattering. The warden was dead quiet. He lightly touched Nehlil's arm. >>I think it is best if we pack now and go to the boarding dock, closest to Du Fells Shulblaka. Soon, too. Don't use the time-travel, I think that someone could sense you using magic nearby. Thankyou, Nehili-Elda. Saria sensed a powerful presence and ran toward it.

Firan felt a slightly familiar presence and also ran toward it.

Ceren's face twitched briefly into an expression of shock and amusement. "Do not tell me you do not recognize Kvaya, Eragon-ebrithil! Nor me!" His bright, musical voice was unmistakable to those who knew him. Kvaya spared Eragon and Saphira a wordless greeting, opting instead for a mix of warm emotions. With a sharp flick of her wings, she descended in a smooth curve toward the blue dragon. The grace and speed with which Kvaya flew was unmatched; she and her rider had certainly earned the title of flight teachers. Her silvery white hide glowed under the sunlight.

Eragon now spoke aloud, "Ah Ceren and Kvaya hello. Where are.the others? I was told there were at least five."

Saria saw Eragon and bowed, "Eragon-ebithil and Saphira-ebrithil I am Saria Queen Area has told me much about you." She said bowing.

Firan ran into the clearing and stared at the giant blue dragon.

Sylvia watched as Ceren jumled on Kvaya and flew out of sight, sondering what he was gonna ask her.

Fear hovered few hundred feet above and then vlided to a land kn the rocky floor. "I am an elf, is this the group trying to reconauer Alagasia? Weaklings. I was sent by a girl called Sylvia to look for Joseph? I believe I can tip the scales of victory or defeat"

Kvaya alighted in the clearing, smoothly gliding to the ground. The two dragons exchanged glances and a few muted sentiments. "Saria," Eragon said to her, and greeted her in the manner of the elves. "It is an honor to have you and Firan among our ranks."

"The others are at town," Ceren explained, gesturing into the distance. "I instructed them gather their belongings and be ready to leave. I'm afraid we have suffered a tragedy."

Smoke billowed from Saphira's nostrils, and an indignant growl rumbled from her. "What sort of tragedy, elf?"

"An attack," Ceren explained simply. "A dozen or so dragons and their human riders descended on the city, attacking mainly by claw and by fire. Most of the damage was done to houses or other structures, rather than to the people. I arrived upon the scene just as they were deserting."

"We are searching to see where the dragons and riders have gone off to," Kvaya chimed in. "We fear for another attack."

"This is grave news," Eragon responded with a frown. "Have you found anyone yet?"

"No, master," Ceren and Kvaya answered in unison.

"Saphira and I flew in through the north, and we spotted no one," he said grimly. "We shall head back to town and get all the new riders on the boats."

Ceren nodded. "Shall we fly ahead, or stay with you?"

"Go ahead," Eragon ordered with a wave of his hand.

With a nod and a flap of the wings, the elf and dragon rose back into the sky.

Kyle raised an eyebrow and his bangs swept across his face as he reached on the ground to pick up a pebble. He tossed it in the air and caught it again. "Disarm? Or kill?", Lyle said coldly and winked at one of the girls.

Kyle seemed satisfied, and let the pebble drop on the ground. He walked up to a boy no more than 17, and he backed away. Kyle's eyes glinted as he kicked the boys's legs, sending him falling backwards, before using magic to hold him down, the boys sword skidded on the ground and he looked up at Kyle with wide eyes and he attempted to overcome the magic holding him down with his own, even with his dragon's help, it was impossible. Kyle picked the boy's sword up and stood over him, and stabbed downwards, the sword inches from his head. The boy flinched and looked up in fear. Kyle flicked his wrist and the boy flew a few yards, hitting a boulder. The boy stood up shakily. Kyle nodded his head and looked towards Joseph, flashing a smile. "Is that enough? I can do more." The boy quickly ran behind his dragon, while the other riders laughed. Kyle's glare quickly silenced them all.

Saria pulled out a waterskin and a pot and began to scry Area.

"Well can you watch camp while I go somewhere. Make sure that they train and if someone steps out of line a give thwak to the head will help."

Kyle smiled at the girl. When the large boy swung the sword, Kyle ducked and grabbed the hilt, before using it to smash it on the boys head, making him fall down. "Yup.", He said

Eragon tilted his head to the side.

Kyle walked over to the girl and put his arm around her. Then he glared at everyone and said "Get to work! Train you weaklings!"

Kyle looked up from the girl to see some of the other guys in the gang glaring at him. Kyle glared at then and said,"Get to work before i knock you out", then nodded at the guy on the ground. He let go of the girl and took off his shirt. (Oh yea, look at his abs xD) "[yeep] it's hot here."

Sylvia looked up to see Joseph on top of crimson, she smiled and waited for him to land.

Eragon walked over to Saria. "Yes?"

Saphira smiled dragon-like. {Good}

The girl nodded, "Yah it is often." Then she started to.spar. Every opponent that came jerk way she quickly beat up. (Kyle.probably shouldn't break her heart.)

Firan smiled <Yah he said you are a pretty, intelligent, strong, and had some amazing skills.>

Saria looked.at Eragon, "Arya wishes to speak to you.&

Arya waited patiently.

Joseph jumped off Crimson and gave Sylvia a smile.
