@leafpelt@silver_winged~~~Fang cut off his smile, and now just had an blank expression. He eyed Margot, searching for her reaction to Pyra and Frost. Fang looked up into the sky to see that it was going to be morning soon. A small groan escaped his lips as well as a yawn. He desperately wanted and probably needed, some sleep. And it didn't help that he was hungry too.-Angel was hiding in an alleyway near two ruined building. She peeked out from behind to see a group of people - rebels possibly? - that stood around. They seemed to have just encountered an girl with an cooked rabbit by her feet, and Angel stepped deeper into the alleyway, not wanting to be noticed. She was curious to see what their intentions were, and the rising sun cast a few early lines of light down at Angel. Her clothing was clean, and two daggers hung on a belt on both sides of her waist. Just by looking at her, you could tell that she wasn't one of the slaves forced to work in the factories. But- Angel did not look like one of Loki's servants either. One could only wonder.
leafpelt • 6 July 2012 at 1:57 AM
@bunnyshadowMaximum Ride's Angel does mind control...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Frost glared into the alley as she heard footsteps shuffling. "Who's there?" she snarled as she paced there in an instant. She stopped at the opening. Then she aimed an arrow in the dark alley. Frost was tired of this. She set up mental and physical defenses. If it was Sylvia, Frost thought, she could be trying for mind control. "What are you doing?" she said again, this time in a calmer manner.
bunnyshadow • 6 July 2012 at 2:08 AM
@leafpelt~~~"What are you doing here?" Angel asked back, equally as calm as Frost. She was still shrouded by the darkness of the alleyway, and she peered out at Frost. The reflections and shadows of the alley made Angel's eyes turn from brown-gold to green. "What are you doing here?" Angel asked once more, this time, shielding her words with persuasion. Each word and syllable seemed to have an musical tinge to it as Angel spoke.
leafpelt • 6 July 2012 at 2:33 AM
@bunnyshadow Charrie doesn't know my name. 😋~~~~~~~Frost smirked. She could feel her presence nudging in her head. But, only weak minds were easy to manipulate. Stronger minds took energy, and everyone had a max. This girl wasn't Sylvia though, Frost thought with relief. "Depends,"she said. "I could be hunting, traveling, or looking for people like you." Frost said, a thinly veiled threat hidden in her words. With that, she aimed her arrow at the girl's heart, but she didn't let go.

Andrew stepped back with his hands up in surrender. "Whoa, ok." He shrugged, "We should kill. Capturing fails, they escape more then half the time." Turning around, Andrew stepped towards the noise, his metal boots surprisingly quiet against the broken asphalt. Springing forward to the nearest building's corner, he peeked around the corner and saw... ...nothing. The street was completely empty, basked in the early morning light. Tiny white bugs flickered in the air with the dust, making it look almost magical. It was mystical, expect for the reeking stench of dead chitauris.
bunnyshadow • 6 July 2012 at 8:46 PM
@skylark~~~Sylvia followed after Andrew after an nod at his statement. She looked around the corner after him, then scrunched up her face. "It stinks." she said. "Maybe they're someone else. They could be a street or two away."-"Your not going to shoot." Angel said confidently , with her Persuasion. "You won't"
silver_winged • 6 July 2012 at 8:47 PM
@skylark @bunnyshadow @meixiaotian @leafpeltMargot raised an eyebrow as Fang correctly identified the girl's name. He has some kind of mind reading powers, she thought to herself with a tone somewhere between suspicion and relief. It wouldn't do any good to have him looking through her head, but at the same time, it gave his story about never knowing Lake a bit of credibility.Despite her bizarrely warm hands, the girl didn't seem like much of a threat. She was probably just another runaway, Margot realized, or perhaps a rebel. Part of her was ready to just drag the girl along with their ever-increasing group. It would keep them moving, and get rid of a witness. Still, the girl had to have an opinion about the lot of them, and Margot doubted it was a positive one.Another girl emerged from the shadows, weaponless. Simply by the way she stood and spoke, Margot could guess that she was unrelated to Pyra. When the girl asked what they were doing, Margot felt an odd tugging sensation in the back of her mind, a faint, itching, subconscious urge to answer. It was easily brushed away, but she couldn't help but wonder. "We were just leaving," Margot responded in a tone that was far harsher than she intended it to be.

@bunnyshadowAndrew grumbled in annoyance and kept walking quietly. He tapped his wrist and a screen came up. It did a sweep of the area around them, stretching out to almost 10 km. Some stick-like figures came up over close to the main street, and it looked like quite a few. "Sylvia, call for backup now. At least 25 chitauris. 7 kids over on Heirloom St, at the corner of Main Rd." He looked up, "Armed, dangerous, and for the life of me do NOT underestimate them."
meixiaotian • 6 July 2012 at 9:30 PM
"Talking." Pyra didn't fee like telling them anything yet. She noticed the other guy was more or less giving her the evil eye. She glared back at him.'What?!""Fang..." He quit it. Fang. Interesting name. Fit him well.Pyra turned at the sound. Someone else came out. When she spoke, she wanted to answer, so much, but nah, she wasn't being asked.

"Oh, god," Ray looked from left to right, glancing at both of the new girls. It didn't take a genius to notice that this was trouble. Even if these two were friendly, it meant they were utterly failing stealth class, for one. "And they say three's a crowd," he quirked a kind of half-smile, part exasperated, part amused. He took a few steps backwards, preferring the shadows to the head of the group.
leafpelt • 7 July 2012 at 2:31 AM
@bunnyshadow@asi~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Frost shot an icy glare at Ray. Idiot, she thought. She kept her bow at the new girl though. Frost tried blocking everything out. She hated mental battles. " This is not the time to talk," she said in general. "We need to go."
asi • 7 July 2012 at 2:43 AM
Ray flinched slightly at the look he got from Frosting. If anyone needed a name change, it was her. There was nothing sugary about that girl from where he was standing, more like icy... Icing? He paused in confusion, then quickly dismissed that chain of thought, instead directing his attention at his only weapon. Weapon? Multi-purpose invention, anyway. It would be pretty effective if you hit someone with it, but it would also be helpful if you wanted a hand carrying the shopping- or bending metal bars. Ray didn't usually create violent inventions, not willingly. Now he was kind of glad he had one at least. For self defense, he reminded himself sheepishly.

@Skylark OnO@Asi@Silver_Winged@Meixiotian@Leafpelt~~~"Alright. I'll be right back." Sylvia said. Her body dissolved in moments, and she teleported into the control room of one of the chitauri fortresses. Looking up, she saw that there were one of the aliens on duty, sitting on an chair in front of the control panel that gave out signals to the hovercrafts that told them where to go to settle down attacks that weren't nearby."Hey." she said rather rudely. The chitauri turned around quickly. "You might want to send an hovercraft to this place." Sylvia said while typing in the directions. "There are a group of rebels. At least 7. They have weapons, and have already killed more than 10 of your kind." she said seriously. "You chitauri are useless." With that, she teleported back to the abandoned street with Andrew. The moment she was fully back, she yawned and said: "They should arrive her in an hovercraft in a few moments if they value their own lives."
skylark • 7 July 2012 at 2:41 PM
Aaron smiled and waved to the first new girl, Pyra. He wondered what it was like to be able to burn whatever you wanted with your hands.~~~~Andrew flinched when Sylvia melted away, a bit grossed out. I'll never get over that, he thought to himself. When she returned, he nodded to her. "Good work." He walked closer to where the rebels were, "Now, all we have to do is wait for backup and make sure they don't run." The screen on his wrist showed that they moved a bit, but still in a group. "Those chitauri better hurry, and so should we."
bunnyshadow • 7 July 2012 at 3:43 PM
@skylark@silver_winged@asi@leafpelt@meixiaotian~~~Sylvia was just about to take a step after Andrew, when an hovercraft shimmered into view above their heads. Thirty four chitauri dropped from the hovercraft, armed to their teeth with weapons. -Fang's red eyes suddenly narrowed, and he stepped back into the nearest wall. A flash, and everything went black and foggyas if he was looking through mist. The world suddenly cleared, and he could see a fuzzy image of a large group of things that had mechanical limbs and other odd qualities. He recognized them immediately. Chitauri. Two figures stood nearby, clearly part of the group. Suddenly, a flash. He was back to where Margot and the rest of the group was, leaning against a wall. Fang was already deciding whether to warn Margot or not.
silver_winged • 8 July 2012 at 3:20 PM
@bunnyshadow@leafpelt@skylark@asi@jupiter_hollow"Agreed," Margot said quickly and bitterly in response to Frost. She shot the established members of her group a look, and a tip of the head as a signal to begin moving. Fang, she noticed, had a slightly perturbed look on his face. He had been uncharacteristically quiet. There was the question of whether to take these kids along. Assuming they were being chased by Loki's forces, there was always the chance that these two girls could be kidnapped and forced to mention them. It would be altogether safer to take them along. Still, she knew next to nothing about them--that was a gamble. Also, the bigger the group was, the more attention it was bound to draw. Margot let out a strained sigh. "You can come if you won't get in the way," she said finally, looking away. The light played off her goggles, glinting orange. Then she set out toward the commercial buildings.
meixiaotian • 8 July 2012 at 3:27 PM
Everything was really weird, Pyra was having a hard time processing it all."You can come if you won't get in the way," one of them said."I won't. But I don't want to, thanks," she replied. She was about to say something else, until she realized that someone who worked with Loki might see her. This band was bound to have someone watching, or someone in it. Then she turned and left. (Not Pyra.) Pyra turned back to her stuff between the trees. She picked up and put back on the gloves, but that was it. If someone was watching, bringing out a dead rabbit was not a good idea.
bunnyshadow • 8 July 2012 at 3:42 PM
@silver_winged@skylark@asi@meixiaotian@leafpelt~~~Angel stepped around Frost and towards the group, around where Margot and Fang stood. She shook her head and ran a hand through her hair, straightening it.-Fang walked towards Margot quickly, and stepped in front of her. He used his hand to grab her wrist, careful to avoid the electric gloves. Then, he pulled her to the very edge of the group, and with ought hesitating, said in a quiet, almost strained voice: "The two figures I mentioned earlier." Fang paused. "They are backed up by at least 30 chitauri." he continued quickly. "They are coming."
silver_winged • 11 July 2012 at 2:27 PM
@bunnyshadow @skylark @asi @leafpelt @meixiaotianMargot shot Fang an an acidic frown as he grabbed her wrist, but she willingly walked with him to the edge of the group. Being tugged around like a child didn't appeal to her. Just as she was about to reprimand him for his failure to communicate, he relayed a troubling bit of knowledge. Margot let out a tight sigh. "[yeep]," she murmured, glancing back toward the group. "We better get moving. Let's see if we can get everybody over the river; the Chitauri will have to go around if they want to save their electric weapons." She pushed away from Fang before he could protest and gathered attention to herself with a snap of her fingers."We've got trouble," Margot announced in a serious voice. "Pack of Chitauri, at least thirty, coming this way. You all need to get over the river as soon as possible; that'll buy us some time to retreat."
jupiter_hollow • 11 July 2012 at 6:59 PM
@bunnyshadow@silver_winged@meixiaotian@asi@skylark@leafpeltFrom the moment of Fang's arrival, Aizel still remained as quiet as never. It was in the girl's bubbly nature to speak 24/7 and with the brand new arrivals, one would think that she would've leaped up to welcome them with an avalanche of greetings and a friendly handshake, but contrary to everyone's belief, she had remained silent throughout the whole time. If was not unseen, but exclusively rare for her to be quiet, much less not say a word. Even her constant whining for food had ceased suddenly. She'd been walking alone at the end of the group, avoiding the rest of the heroes successfully. With unusually dull black eyes glued to the ground and head somewhere in the clouds, she had not heard, nor realised Margot's serious icy voice that called out to them. She only came back to reality when Angel made a turn around Frost and Aizel had to freeze in her tracks, to avoid the crash. Looking up in curiosity as to why the girl had stopped, she caught a glimpse of Margot and Fang standing in the front and explaining something. Half listening to what she'd said, Aizel only heard 'Chitauris', 'over the river', retreat'. Snapping to work, her mind caught on quickly. There was a treath... Surprisingly, she remained calmer than ever, replying only with a nonchalant blink. In a second, her gaze returned to the ground and she resumed her blank stare. It was clear that she was absent from reality.
Deleted • 11 July 2012 at 7:24 PM
Despite the knowledge that they could not, even with the best of luck, defeat the chitauri, Aizel did no attempt to move from her place or reach for the gun, tucked under her shirt. In all truth, the weapon was empty and useless, so she chose not to bother. Margot had apparently finished talking and was probably already giving orders on their escape or the upcoming battle. Yes, she agreed with herself, they were either going to choose to fight, despite victory being an impossibility, or a mighty escape. Judging from the few words that she'd caught from Margot's announcement, the group was going to choose to run.Her head only snapped up once to look over to the newest addition to their group - Angel. With a quick glance, Aizel inspected the girl head to toe and, as quick as possible, redirected her gaze elsewhere. She had no trust of the girl whatsoever but showed no interest in glaring bloody death at her, as she normally would've done.

Along with his snappy attitude and love for attention, he makes for one extremely self-absorbed creature. Appearance: Subutai's skin is paper white, hence his hate for sunshine and heat. Long black hair cascades to the middle of his hips. His pair of bright blue eyes always dart around sneakily. His clothes are usually a long black robe with a crimson red hood. Ray had watched warily as Fang led Margot to one side, muttering something. This couldn't be good. After a pause, she informed them of their pursuers. His eyes narrowed. Just as he'd thought. 30 Chitauri... But she had said nothing of the two figures Fang had mentioned earlier. Were they just going to stand back and let their underlings do the dirty work? No, he corrected himself, he couldn't assume anything at this point...So they'd be running. Good thing too, because even if they had stood a chance, Ray really wasn't cut out for that kind of thing. One question he had to ask himself was why no one was running already. He didn't exactly want to take the lead... Sounded like work. But if he hung around the back, and the Chitauri caught up... He was fast, he reassured himself. There was no way he'd get caught. Ray only had to worry about everyone else.

@asi@silver_winged@skylark (LMFAO)@jupiter_hollow@leafpelt~~~Sylvia slowly edged towards one of the standing chitauri nearby, then reached out and poked the alien.-Angel shrugged, and waited for Margot to lead the way.-Fang shifted uncomfortably , and rubbed the back of his neck. As he listened to Margot, he was curious to find that she had not mentioned the two figures. He gave her a questioning look.

@asi You called my charrie Frosting. :x@jupiter_hollow@bunnyshadow@silver_winged@meixiaotian~~~~~~~~~Frost's mind started to wander. Dimly she heard Margot yapping out orders again. She didn't really care about Pyra-how did Fang know her name?-but the other girl who seemed to be wealthy at one point...there was just something off about her. Then again, Frost thought as an afterthought, they all had something off. "We're really going to survive this way.."she muttered sarcastically to herself. She absently looked at her bow, deep in thought. Maybe if I went off by myself, she thought absently. Out loud, she said, "Well? What are we waiting for? Let's get going."
bunnyshadow • 14 July 2012 at 5:25 PM
@asi@meixiaotian@inkstep~~~"Hmmm..?" Angel said as she started to step towards a boy with black hair and blue eyes. She tilted her head to the side and continued to walk towards him till she was only a few feet away. "What's your name?" she asked softly.
asi • 14 July 2012 at 6:08 PM
Ray started when the girl addressed him, having been deep in thought and had not noticed her approach. A little exasperated, he frowned at her. Was now really the best time for this?! "Not to be unfriendly, but if you want to live, you may want to save your breath and start running," he said shortly. That was a little self-contradictory, but HE had plenty of breath, after all. She was a girl and didn't seem to him like the athletic type, therefor they'd be lucky if she was properly fit. Slipping to the back, he decided, with strange newfound determination, that he'd help anyone who began to straggle behind.
jupiter_hollow • 14 July 2012 at 6:47 PM
@bunnyshadow@skylarkHe was sure, absolutely certain that Midgard was created by an evil human, determined to destroy Jotuns. In this very moment, Subutai swore if he ever found the forementioned human, he would disect his insides, break his thumbs (on all four limbs) and leave him to a excruciatingly painful death in one of those muddy places called gutters. The boy was currently walking his way through a highly warm section of the old city. He had gone all this way cross the Chitauri lands, where it was cold and dark (in a few words - his paradise) but once he'd entered the Old City of ruins, the weather had truly surprised him. It was scorching heat. The temperature had risen with over five degrees in the past hour, he was sure of that. He had long ago taken off his robe and now walked under the heated sun rays only in his knee lenght trousers. He was bare footed and had no shirt on (somewhere along the way, he'd left it somewhere). Both his shoulder, his back and his face were completely red, from the heat and from a severe case of sunburns. Curse Midgard and its stupid warm weather! His supply of cussing words had already run out, so now, he resorted to only walking grumpily along the streets with his famous bloody-death-glare. His bright blue eyes had turned to slits as he eyes the buildings around with hate. He truly despised this city. And not only it, but also the whole land, he continents, Midgard in its whole.

A sigh escaped his lips as he glanced over his shoulder to meet a pair of grey eyes staring back humbly. A small girl, no older than 7, walked after him, armed with a heavy backpack and a few water bottles. The girl, alike him, was barefooted, wearing a ragged white dress that matched her snow-white skin and platinum blonde hair. She seemed unfazed by the warm weather. She had no sunburns, nor did she look tired at all. Subutai glared at her."Bashinda, hand me water." his cold voice pierced the silence. A moment later, a small, tender hand extended a canteen to him. He snatched it ungratefully and drowned down the whole liquid. Flicking the container back to Bashinda, Subutai continued on his treck down the street.
