Readying the guns for battle, she threw herself into the upcoming group of mechanic beasts. The first bullet was fired, hitting one mechanic eye and exiting the Chitauri's skull from the back. Another one was embedded in one beast's neck, making it ooze oil. Turning to the side sharply, Aizel caught a glance of the Chitauri, sneaking behind Margot and angled the gun in one flick of her wrist. One gunshot was enough. The bullet rippled through the air, whistling milimeters from the girl's ear and perforated the Chitauri's head. The same twisted smile stretched her lips again as she grinned at Margot in victory and turned away, proceeding to fight. Consecutive gunshots crippled the air, bringing metal to metal and embedding death into the Chitauris. Oh, how she loved having advantage.

@aizel@jupiter_hollowFrost gave the barest hint of a smile. Finally, something intresting, she thought. She changed her weapon into a pair of daggers and started slashing and turning. As each Chitauri approached, she slashed them. One of them in the chest. Another one in the eye. Then she stabbed and twisted her dagger in another Chitauri. "Haha, fun!" she said with a smirk, and kept fighting.

@bunnyshadow REmember, you asked for it. Hs usual grumbling and cursing had stopped, as soon as he had entered the New City, where the palace was. The temperature had returned back to normal, degrees going down by the second and he thanked the almighty gods for this newfound miracle. As he walked, still barefooted and with Bashinda trailing behind, a strange sight caught his attention. A small group of Chitauri was hurrying towards an unknown destination, eager to go wherever they were aiming to. It was of his knowledge that the veasts were part of Loki's army, so he hid in the shadows in a fleeting moment, before following them. He hoped they would lead him to Loki's palace at the very least. He had been walking after the Chitauri for merrely five minutes before pausing in his tracks. To his very left, another pair of figures traile the streets slowly, walking among the buildings. Both had a proud posture and an even pace. For him, it was a rare seen thing so he approached. His gaze immediatelly caught onto the taller of the two - it was what seemed like a robot. The whole figure was clad in metal and wires, face completely out of view. After a few seconds searching for any sign of human flesh on the robot, he gave up completely, turning his attention to the other being.

@bunnyshadowThis one was a girl... She was quite the persona. Not too tall, but at an average height with midnight black hair cascading down to her chest. Her eyes were out of view, so he didn't catch onto her eyes color, but caught glimpse of a wide smirk on her face. That had definitelly gotten him intrigued...

@jupiter_hollow@skylark@aizel~~~Sylvia ran a hand through her hair as she watched the chitauri. She caught a small movement out of the corner of her eyes, and she stopped walking suddenly. The girl reached for her sword, her lips tilting down with a frown. Sylvia shrugged and started walking again. If someone was following them, she could turn and attack when they got towards a narrow street or somewhere of which she could have an advantage. And she also had the aliens of her father's army on her side.

Pyra dashed into the building. It was small, only two floors, but hopefully she'd survive. Around were small shelters, like homeless came here at night. There were so many homeless. She ran up the steps, slowing down as the pain and blood became increasingly unbearable. She didn't hear anyone. Yet. She grabbed something as she rolled onto a weak bed, hopping to stem the flow. She looked at it. A lighter. Fun. She didn't need to use it yet.

@leafpelt @meixiaotianSeeing as the Chitauri who were attacking her departed to find weaker targets, Aizel decided to follow the wounded girl - Pyra, and find out why she had deserted them. From afar the warm-handed girl's wound didn't look like anything serious and she herself had fought with much worse injuries. Stepping backwards and keeping a watch on the metal beasts, Aizel attempted to back away until she bumped into someone... It was Frost. Alike her, the girl was happily elliminating Chitauri. The swinging wrists slashed the beasts with ease and Aizel had to admit - despite being young, she had a talent in fighting. She smiled."Having fun?" -@bunnyshadow @skylarkAlthough the unknown girl had definitelly sensed his presence nearby and was probably on watch now, Subutai continued boldly forward, motioning curtly for Bashinda to follow. He walked, standing high and proud, without hiding. To him, the female seemed too scrawny and weak to even think of defeating him. Despite that belief, he detected a slight magical aura around her as soon as he approached. She was apparently gifted in the Dark Arts, he sensed that easily. The small girl behind him suddenly tugged on his sleeve, pleading grey eyes gazing into his blue ones. She had no desire to continue forward, hence the strange female that made her flustered. The boy said no word, but instead raised an eyebrow arogantly and pursed his lips, pulling his clothes roughly from the girl's grasp and proceeding forward

She was suddenly feeling fairly rebellious, and she noticed that the person had long hair that reached his hips. He had pale skin, and blue eyes. What bothered her the most was his clothing. He wore a long black robe with a deep-crimson hood. Sylvia gave Andrew a apologetic smile, before turning around quickly and nimbly to face the boy a ways away."I absolutely love your hair." she said boldly with a mischievous smile.[lmfao xD]

She continued to finish off the Chituari, and she asked Aizel, "Where are you going? It's not exactly safe here." She pondered on where Aizel was heading too..but nothing came to mind.

@leafpelt @meixiaotianAizel nodded at the first comment and a smile stretched her lips as the gun continued to shoot at the Chitauri. The smile melted back to her usual nonchalant expression as the girl shot the question at her. She turned to throw a side glance at Frost. "To see the new girl. She's hit. Can't afford losing allies." she stated, flicking her wrist to elliminate one metal beast nearby. The wires flickered, sparking electricity everywhere and then died down. "Can you cover me while I get there?" she motioned to the tall building where Pyra had decided to reside and shot a quizzical look at Frost.

Crud crud crud...! The chant echoed in his head, empty as it was with panic. If you'll just rewind for a moment... Ray had never been in combat before. Nothing like this. He'd had karate lessons.... But that didn't exactly prepare you for killing machines. With guns. He had been shot at a few more times than he'd care to say... And hit twice. Mostly when he'd been found out trying to steal the more valuable factory parts. But nothing, nothing like this. The only thing that stopped him from screaming and running away like a girl was because he was currently very occupied, and even if he could get on his feet, he didn't fancy his chances turning his back on this Chitauri for a second.The Chitauri that new girl had kicked off her had suddenly became much more scary when it had procured a gun of one of it's dead comrades. And somehow, Ray had ended up on the ground.Roll roll roll!! The bullets tore up the pavement he had been lying on a mere fraction of a second ago, and still he urged his body to keep on turning, the rain of deadly missiles following behind as closely as the day follows the sun. Ray watched one bullet- the last one! close in on him, slow motion, in horror, agony, trying to fling himself as hard as he could forward.Ping! To his immense relief, it merely bounced of his glove.Now a smile crept over his face. Though he had been panicking, at least he'd had the wit... To count the shots. The Chitauri needed to reload.

@jupiter_hollow@asi@bunnyshadowFrost barely nodded. Her expression was unreadable, bored even. She continued to hold off the Chituari, while muttering to Aizel, " Go find Pyra." Frost wasn't sure yet if Pyra had run away on purpose, so catching her couldn't harm much. She shook off her thoughts and kept fighting.

Fang heard Frost mutter something to Aizel about finding Pyra, and he turned around after kicking the alien's body aside.Angel had sat up, and brushed herself off as the fight came to a close. She tilted her head to the side and yawned. She wasn't used to not sleeping for such a long period of time.

Done and dusted, Ray surreptitiously ground the Chitauri's face into the pavement with his heel as he looked around, digesting the results of the carnage slowly. Everyone seemed fine. Reaching down, he managed to pry the gun free of the corpse's claws. Empty of ammo, of course, so useless... To anyone but Ray. He slung it over his shoulder and went to join the others. As he did so, he continued to mess with the strap, in order to disguise the fact that he was shaking.

Pyra took a deep breath. She seemed to have stopped bleeding. It also sounded like the fighting had stopped. She tucked the lighter in her left-hand glove. It was uncomfortable, but she didn't have any pockets. She could probably return to the group, but she didn't feel like it yet. No need to bleed some more and stain her 3 year old clothes.She seriously needed some new clothes. A brown shirt and black pants hadn't lasted very well in the woods for two years. She had washed them every week, but still.

He rubbed the back of his neck and slowly walked after Ray with a blank expression. "Are you ok?" he asked almost sincerely, and not sounding like his usual self at all. He had seen Ray shaking, although the boy had tried to hide it.

@meixiaotian @leafpelt @bunnyshadowAt Frost's remark, she gave one single nod and after inspecting the horizon, darted to the left. She didn't have much to worry about, because the last Chitauri had been killed, but she had a look out anyways. Proceeding towards the building, Aizel poked her head out through the door and then slowly walked in, bemused by all the homeless scavengrs which were seated near the walls. She wondered if it was some kind of meeting ground for the homeless and had to resist the urge to snort in sarcasm. Despite the many pairs of eyes which were following her, she had not yet located Pyra. Both guns were tucked under her shirt, in order to not cause havoc among the homeless. With the corner of her eye, she caught glimose of a brown shirt and a similar pair of jeans. She hurried past the many people around, succeeding to trip over a few and almost land on one as well.Somehow, she reached the girl without any injuries and stopped by her side."W's wrong?" She mentally cursed the lack of brain function. It was probably the stupidest possible question in such a time, given that she had seen the girl get hurt with her own eyes. "Nevermind, ignore that question... How bad's the bleeding?"

"I'm-" He began automatically, then paused, reconsidering. Ray held one quivering hand- the gloved one- up to his face and twisted it in the light, as if to better examine it. For a brief moment, a weak- no, faint smile flickered across his face. But it wasn't his normal smile; no, there was something strangely, uncharacteristically... Malicious about it. Malicious? Malicious wasn't a word one would normally use with any connection to Ray, not at all. But in this case, it was the only one that fitted. He clenched the hand into a fist, and a less alien but still unusual look came across him; exhileration. His eyes shone, tan skin almost seemed to glow. "Alive," he ended, but not sounding tired, like he was glad to have just survived, but like he'd just awoken; more alive than ever. Or like he'd just discovered what real life was. That was the tone in his voice. Wonder."Thank you," he said oddly, looking at Vampsy for one thoughtful minute, then glancing away. "Now, what next?" he quietly added the last sentence not to Fang but as an aside to himself, or maybe no one at all.

Aykay looked around at all of them. They seemed strong, but what about the machine master? She remembered her from back in the prison when she came for inspections. She had taken great joy in making Aykay whimper. He shifted his eyes towards Aykay and saw the girl thinking to herself. -Angel brushed all the bits of dirt that clung to her clothing, as she watched the group reform. How surprising. The chitauri had lost.

"Oh no, scrawny little me? I wouldn't have been more than an amuse-bouche," Ray countered sarcastically, rolling his eyes and letting his terse posture revert back into a more usual relaxed slouch. Count on Vampsy to ruin his mood. Whatever it had been.He moved on to kneel by another broken Chitauri, searching furtively for any useful parts he could scavenge before Margot dragged him off, or someone noticed and asked what he was doing. Then again, Ray didn't exactly stand out, so he wasn't too worried.

She gazed up interestedly at what he was doing. She then saw the machine's gun that he had taken and began growling at it. She had learned quickly in the prison to hate those guns.-He's only trying to defend himself.- said the voice.She ignored it.

He examined the group, and saw that they were seperated and many of them were just talking. Another few he saw missing. Fang rubbed the back of his neck, muttering something to himself. He hoped that he could get a few minutes of sleep while the group got back together and decided what to do next. Before that thought was out of his mind, he had fallen asleep.

I'm back! 8D @silver_winged~*~*~*~*~Aaron was still behind the corner of the building, facing the river. His back was against the wall, which was opposite to from where the chitauri came. No one had noticed him, but why would they? He was just a fat black kid doing nothing in the shadows, just watching what was happening. When the fighting seemed to have died down, Aaron meekly took a step forward to where they were... Crud. He'd have to cross the river. What a great time to not be able to swim, he thought as he threw up his hands in exasperation. Oh, how he so greatly hoped someone on the other side was holding a rope, and it was only this hope that encouraged him to ask for help. "Guys? Help me cross?"~*~@jupiter_hollow @bunnyshadowAndrew froze in his tracks, and raised an eyebrow. He followed Sylvia, wondering what she was doing. When she spoke to the newcomer, he clasped his hand over his metal mouth in shock and laughter at what she said.

And the mentioned statement had apprently been very funny to the robot man. Both mocked him, he noted himself of that, jaw clenched in fury.He was taken aback from the girl but nevertheles kept his calm. An arrogant expression found it's way to his face and he raised his chin up high, looking down upon them. A huff left his lips."Why thank you." he retorted with a cocky smile. "I am flattered. However, I feel obliged to ask, who may you be?"

She had expected Andrew to go into some fit about that being "extremely irresponsible" and could possible have "gotten her killed" if she had "angered the other enough". Sylvia pushed a few strands of hair behind her right ear. "Your welcome. However, I feel obliged to not answer." she responded with ought much hesitation.
