@skylark @dada_dragon~~~"I'm awake." Sylvia said, even though Andrew had never voice the thought. She turned her head so that she looked out the window, and stared boredly down at the tower. "I think the towers on fire." she said in monotone, after a few long seconds of staring out.

Aykay could feel the heat of the fire at her back.-No use dying now.- scoffed the voice. -Move.-The voice snapped her out of her panic. The machines were no different than the ones in the forest...She pounced on the first of the machines. She heard the shriek of the other machines' guns and a slight burning sensation on her right shoulder. She ignored it and turned around, leaping at the second machine, knocking his weapon out of his hand. The first one was getting back up...One... two... there were six machines in all... she could maybe handle three at the most... she would have to depend on the other two to get the rest.@leafpelt@meixiaotian@bunnyshadow@skylark

Breathing heavily, Margot glanced out from behind the wooden cabinets. Despite the fully-lit apartment, there wasn't another soul to be seen. However, the voice broke out again."Who are you, and what are you doing here?" he demanded.Margot struggled for an answer. She had no idea who this person was, or where they were hiding, or who they worked for. Most likely it was an agent of Loki. However, Margot felt like Loki's human operatives would know each other. Still, Loki had a lot of servants. It was entirely possible that the Manhattan area servants weren't all familiar with each other. In that case, she could get through it with a simple lie. However, if she lied about her intentions, what would she do about Aaron? People who came somewhere on orders don't tell their partners to stay hidden while they scope out a location owned by their master. It wouldn't make any sense. If she lied and went off with the mystery guard, she would have to leave him up in the vents, most likely unsure about her true allegiance. That would just be quite the mess. If she was dragged off, at least that would give him enough time to escape safely--she hoped. Lying would only create a mess."My name is Margot," she declared, with the smallest quaver in her voice. "I'm here in defiance of Loki's tyrant rule."

"Tsk, freaking perfect." she paused in her tracks, enough to cuss at Ray quietly, yet found herself dissappointed that the boy had already taken off and couldn't hear her. So now he'd decided to play hero...? And taken he'd done nothing to stop angel and Pinkie from escaping. Truth be told, as far as morals went, Aizel's were inhumanly strange, but yet she found Ray's stranger. The boy would shift through emotions, feelings, moods in a matter of seconds. It was irking, especially with a temper as short as hers, to deal with someone who could perfectly impersonate a moody 16 year old high school girl with a crush... And now that same person had decided to act heroic! Again! And with no plan whatsoever. And she was sure, positive, that the situation would not end well for them both."This time you better watch it Sunray." she glared at the boy's quickly retreating back, hissing under her breath, as if he could hear her. That blow to her head must've messed something up (even further than her current fragile state mind).Ducking low behind the building nearest to Chitauri street, she poked her head from the corner, locating Ray and the beasts and measuring the distance between her. She could akcnowledge the possibilities to be seen, despite her speed and height (she was a midget and like it or not, things like that came in handy). In a minute, she took off, running low to the ground and reaching Ray nearly as quick as the runner himself. "Let's go." she panted.

@bunnyshadowAndrew nodded to Sylvia, even though she was faced away from him. After she pointed out that the ship was on a burning building, Andrew paused to contemplate the fact. "Well, we should probably get flying again, then?" The chitauri were scrambling around them to get the hovercraft moving again. The fire only grew a tiny bit.@silver_wingedAaron froze as he heard it. Another voice. What the crap? There wasn't supposed to be anyone up on the top floors! The chitauri had labelled it unsafe because it IS unsafe! Panic seized Aaron as he because to erratically flip through all the worst case scenarios in his head. Taking a deep breath, he stopped himself and thought of a plan. If he could get a peek at the mystery voice as to where and who it was, maybe Margot would be smart enough to somehow smooth-talk it into standing right underneath where Aaron was, so Aaron could knock it out by 'falling' out of the vent. @dada_dragonLoki sniffed, placing his hands on the table. His fingers curled up as he snarled, "You can possibly get my guards to bring my guests? Considering that you're the one to bring me such news and the guards are being ridiculously slow today..." Loki muttered something about not being able to believe how stupid some servants are and how slow people can be and blah blah. He paused, his eyes to the ceiling. After contemplating like this for a bit, he told the girl, "And maybe some cheese and some delicious wine?"
silver_winged • 29 October 2012 at 10:44 PM
@skylarkMargot crouched under the counter for a few moments more, clenching her teeth and awaiting the worst. However, the rush of footsteps never came, nor did the gunshot. She heard a mechanical whir, like a machine moving around."You didn't look like you were working for Loki," the voice said."I'm not," she spat in confirmation."In that case," the voice responded, "I apologize. Please stand?"Margot remained there for a moment more, hands wrapped around the back of her neck. Her eyebrows narrowed in pure confusion. After a moment, she glanced around the counter. The room was still empty. She then rose to her feet and surveyed the apartment: just as empty as it had been before. A security camera she hadn't noticed before swiveled to follow her movements."I am JARVIS," the voice said. "Stark's personal computer system. I have been guarding this apartment since Loki's takeover.""You're . . . a computer?" Margot responded quizzically."Yes," it confirmed. She breathed a heavy sigh of relief. "I'm going to push a couch over so my friend can get down," she explained. JARVIS didn't respond, so she assumed he had no qualm with it. After some pushing and shoving, she had the couch positioned under the gap in the vent. "You can come down now, Aaron!" she called out. "Coast's clear!"
dada_dragon • 29 October 2012 at 11:03 PM
The girl bowed."Of course, Master Loki." she said, bowing again before exiting the room. She hurried down the hall and approached two of the chitauri guards. "Master Loki wishes you to escort in some visitors. They are waiting in the front hall."She watched as the two walked off in that direction, looking a little put-out by the inconvenience of actually having to do something for once. They really were getting lazy...She stopped briefly in the kitchen to grab the cheese from what was likely the only working refrigerator in the area. Loki really loved his luxuries...She opened the wine cabinet and browsed her available choices. She finally decided on one near the bottom. Unlike the other stuff in the cabinet, it didn't cost a particularly exorbitant sum of money to obtain, but for some odd reason, it was Loki's favorite. Perhaps it would soften his mood. It wasn't likely, though...She returned to Loki's office with the cheeses, the bottle and a glass. She set the tray down beside him and poured the wine, leaving the bottle beside the glass. She returned to her corner, adapting a respectful seated position and kept her eyes to the floor. He would call her when he needed her... or when he was ready to punish her...@asi @bunnyshadow @skylark

@skylark~~~"I'm going down there." Sylvia said. "I'm not letting those idiotic rebels burn down MY tower." she said. "I was going to use it for something." Sylvia narrowed her eyes. "Your coming with me."(*cough* Sure Sylvia... It's "your" tower.... )

West kept her up cool facade despite her growing impatience during the wait. The fact was, she just didn't like waiting, at all; she was so used to always being busy that wasting time was practically a sin in her mind.It wasn't, in actuality, that long before the guards (what WERE those strange things, anyway? She was sure she'd seen them around before, but she hadn't really paid any attention) came and led them away. As they walked, even West was unable to avoid taking note of the increasingly elaborate grandeur of the palace. Then... Came the frames of Loki. (There was no mistaking it now, this was really the one and only Loki). Every so often, when one picture caught her eye, West had to slap a hand over her mouth to stop a smile, laugh, or the occasional derisive snort.

There was a pack of... 1, 2, 3, 4... 5... 7 Chitauri guarding the entrance. Three of which looked half-asleep. Tch, Ray hissed quietly in dissatisfaction, before reverting back into his normal, slightly scared-looking expression and nervously glancing behind at Aizel. He decided to play it safe. Ray pulled something from his pockets; a smoke bomb. Simple, nothing particularly special, except that the smoke was bright pink and smelled strangely of coconut (the first was the only color he could get to work, the second was an unfathomable side effect he couldn't get rid of). It would allow them to sneak past safely, AND definitely get the Chitauri attention; two birds with one stone, as the saying goes. He signed to Aizel so that she understood the plan, before chucking it. It landed squarely in the midst of the pack, and very soon the smoke began leaking out.
jupiter_hollow • 30 October 2012 at 2:32 PM
Drawing in a sigh, Aizel followed absentmindedly, pausing next to Ray as he signalled. She raised an eyebrow, utterly confused as to what he attempted to say - even she herself could agree to having poor interpretation skills. She still understood what he intended to do, though. The smoke bomb clutched in his hands was pretty suggestive so she drew back, allowing a clean path for Ray to throw the device. At the pink smoke that fluttered around the Chitauri now, she raised an eyebrow and flashed the boy a quizzical look that clearly stated her unamusement. Not that she wasn't grateful for the distraction, but the color and smell was a bit over the top. She shook her head with a sigh and darted forward, regardless on Ray had decided to budge or not. The bomb (albeit being pink) did a pretty good job as all the monsters seemed to be drawn to it like bees to honey and the entire fallang had gathered around it.Rather reluctantly, she turned to flash a thankful smile at Ray.
asi • 30 October 2012 at 3:40 PM
Ray resisted the urge to snicker at Aizel's reaction, before the pink cloud smothered everything (he missed the smile). While it was a very effective smokescreen, it didn't last too long. He flashed forward to the entrance, then hesitated on the threshold. The smoke was beginning to thin a little already and he could see, and hear, a few of the Chitauri recovering their senses. Ray stepped forward, and immediately the alarm activated. He almost jumped out of his skin in shock; it was so loud and sudden, and it (figuratively) freaked the crud out of him. He fumbled to remove his sound enhancers before the amplified noise shattered his eardrums, then ran into the tower, leaving the smoke and disoriented Chitauri behind. Thinking straighter now, he figured that the alarm could be a good thing, if it drew more Chitauri over to the entrance. However, it meant they'd have to go past Ray. Hurriedly, he looked around for Aizel to see if she was still with him.

@asi Awww, look at us, roleplaying in Loki's Rule XD"Idiot" Aizel grumbled under her breath, as Ray snickered inwardly chuckled at her, and flashed him a glare, that clearly meant to keep humour to himself. Moving towards the side of t he entrance, Aizel crouched near the bottom of the door as Ray plumeted inside. She'd been keen on using a different entrance - patricularly the dented window pane on her left, but as the alarm began to shriek loudly, she sprung in as well."Idiot!" she yelled at him this time, pulling out her Baby Desert Eagle Guns immediatelly and pointing them to the door. Instinctively giving him the most fierce 'I will kill you and eat your firstborn' glare she could muster, Aizel moved to the side of the enormous 'foyer' they'd entered, taking cover near a pile of scrap metal stocked near the door - it provided a makeshift (but no less effective) shooting place. She had view of the entire room and took note of everything inside.---sorry for short posts - brain deaded tongiht >-<--

@Jupiter_hollowThat wasn't short X3 THIS is short ^^" And why awww? ^^" It's been that long? X3He flinched at her anger and meekly followed her behind the junkheap. It seemed the Chitauri had practically torn the place apart when they'd ransacked the place; none of the scraps were at all recognizable as to what they may have been. Ray sighed, not daring to meet Aizel's eyes. Why was she always so mad at him, yeah? It was throwing a damper on his fun...It wasn't long before Chitauri appeared from the lift to the second floor. Ray's eyes sparkled, and he brightened considerably. "Worked like a charm," he murmured under his breath as he ducked down to make sure he couldn't be seen. If the Chitauri had remained spread out all over the tower levels, it would have been nigh on impossible to sneak past them all, he realized now, thankful for his decision. But if they were in the same place, it would be easy to deal with them, and then, mission accomplished.Another happy thing; an irritated Chitauri punched a hole in the alarm system, and now Ray could hear himself think again. But now the Chitauri, together with the ones from the smoke (which was gone now), began fanning out and searching for the intruders.

FInally! Akyay moved! But there were six chitauri, way too many for her alone. Pyra would have to help her. Somehow. BUt how? She could do some hand-to-hand-no. Or throw something burning at the chitauri. Wow, genius idea, she thought. She regretted handing the knife to Fang, especially since he just dropped it on the hill.Wait, where was he? She risked a glance behind her, and was rewarded by no Fang, and a shot near her head. Ah fuzz, she swore, and whipped her head back. Okay, quick decision. She stuck the lighter in her pocketless pants, awkward, and whipped off her gloves. She dashed forward, low and zigzagging. Something ripped her pants. Fuzzlenuggets. She ran forward and grasped one of the weapons. What was she doing?! Her mind automatically replied, something stupid. Her hot hands made the fingers loosen their grip, and the weapon was tugged out, then turned on its owner.A thud rewarded her and she ducked again.WHAT WAS SHE DOING?! Something stupid, her mind replied again.

@dada_dragon @meixiaotian @asi @jupiter_hollow @silver_winged~~~As the people in "Team Aykay" fought their way through to the stairs in the basement, Fang lurked somewhere unknown from the others. His eyes glowed faintly in the dark, as he stepped closer towards the dark thing in front of him, a smirk set firmly on his face as he glowered at the something.
meixiaotian • 17 November 2012 at 6:06 PM
Pyra looked up at Akyay's roar, and hit the other-wait, no. She missed the chitauri by an inch when it dodged. Why did they need to leave now? She was busy? Then she remembered as the smell of smoke increased. Oh yeah... Well, she just needed to get this last one... She fired again, then cried out as a blaze ripped by her too. She dodged as well, it was mostly of fear and alarm. It did hurt, since it scathed her arm.Drat. She forgot it when she saw the chitauri hit the ground. Great. Her legs dashed up the stairs, after the tiger who was leading her team.
leafpelt • 17 November 2012 at 6:11 PM
Barely glancing at Akyay's roar, she bit her lip in indecision. Frost coughed from the heavy smoke. It was practically poisoning her, choking her from inside. She didn't look at the chituari as she slashed through them, but Mr. Creepy Emo Dude was missing. Again. "Probably hiding, safe," she muttered angrily as she followed after Pyra.
meixiaotian • 17 November 2012 at 6:21 PM
She looked behind her to make sure Fang was behind. Nope, but Frost was. She didn't seem like she was handing the smoke well. Pyra was noticing the smoke herself, it was annoying to her so far, but for the others, probably horrid. She had once read something about smoke, getting low to the ground, and wet cloth... Gee, helpful. She ripped off the end of her shirtsleeve, and shoved it into Frost's face. Okay, not wet, well, too bad. Unless she wanted to go on hands and knees, fighting enemies on the steps, this was the best temporary solution.
leafpelt • 17 November 2012 at 6:43 PM
Frost nearly choked as Pyra shoved a cloth at her face. Everything seemed much better after that. Frost said in a muffled voice, "Thanks." Inwardly, she groaned. Another thing to work an immunity on, she thought. She felt that there would be more situations like this. She wondered how Pyra was handling it so easily.

Aykay got to the top of the stairs and saw with relief that the other two had made it up okay and that none of the machines had followed them up yet. It was shockingly quiet on this level. Maybe the others had succeeded in their diversion... They were close enough to the main level that the machines on this level would be called up in case of a disturbance...She transformed back to her human form. At least she could talk this way..."The next level is the main floor." she explained. "And most of the machines will probably be there. I'll be honest, I don't remember much of what is on that level. I had other things on my mind when I was last there, so I can't really give you guys any warnings about what's there..."@leafpelt@meixiaotian

@silver_wingedAaron breathed a sigh of relief, all the worst-case scenarios and extensive planning gone from his brain. But before he could drop down neatly onto the couch, the ventilator shaft groaned loudly. A split second later, a large crack resounded throughout the room as the shaft broke open, dropping the dead weight- Aaron- out of it. Landing on his face, Aaron missed the couch by a little less then a foot. A muffed groan escaped him as he slowly recovered.@dada_dragon @asi @bunnyshadowLoki sipped his wine as Kita poured it. He continued to read as Kita settled herself and he silently rambled at how ridiculously slow his gaurds had become. Surely a little lesson tomorrow will whip them up into shape...@bunnyshadowAndrew raised his eyebrow at Sylvia. Her seemingly random and sudden defence for the tower was unexpected. "O-k," he said as he got up and singled the chitauri driver to hover over the tower instead of landing on it. A simple- but strong- rope ladder rolled out of the open launching door and Andrew started climbing down it. When he got half-way down, he purposely let go and started free-falling towards the tower. Andrew put his arms beside him and hovered his way down through the blasting of exhaust air through his hands and feet.
dada_dragon • 20 November 2012 at 2:16 PM
Kita looked up in concern at Loki. He appeared to be in a poor mood, which was not good for her. She wondered what could possibly be aggravating him. The rebels were still out there of course, but the chitauri were more than able to cope with some scrawny impoverished anarchists. Was there something more than that going on? It wasn't her place to ask, so she remained silent.@skylark@asi@bunnyshadow

@skylark ~~~Sylvia walked over to the door and looked down at Andrew as he climbed. About half-way down, he let go and jumped. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, before dissolving and reappearing in a deep green flash at the bottom.Once she was on the roof of the tower, she looked up at Andrew expectantly.
skylark • 20 November 2012 at 2:22 PM
@bunnyshadowAs Sylvia was looking up into the now empty sky, Andrew had blasted a hole through the roof and was making his way quickly to the commotion on the first floor. Andrew could see fire clawing its way through the building from the basement, although it would be a while before the building's structure disintegrated and the whole tower falls over.
bunnyshadow • 20 November 2012 at 4:20 PM
@skylark ~~~Sylvia narrowed her eyes when she saw no one. She scanned the sky all around, making sure she didn't miss him. The girl turned when she heard a loud crash. A hole appeared on the roof, and a few excess cracks spread across. She frowned and walked towards the edge of the hole, before jumping through. Sylvia followed Andrew down, grabbing onto holds. After a while, her feet touched the ground.
jupiter_hollow • 20 November 2012 at 4:36 PM
The smoke began thinning and all blurry figures trottling around the hall came into clear view, as did the room's interrior. Her first reaction was to curse quietly, jaw tightening, as she scanned the area. There was no way out. In general, the hall was wide and lenghty, with a few dozen windows panes and four exits, not counting the way they'd come from. But from the smoke, confusion and, particularly, because of the ugly monsters on their tail, she'd crouched in the first tight space she'd spotted, which so happened to be a corner between one wall and a set of stairs leading upwards. Now, needless to say, going out of her hiding spot to climb the stairs would leave her completely exposed - she instantly dismissed that option. With a chitauri headed her way through the veil of smoke, she acknowledged her limited time and set to flipping through possibilities.Grumbling, Aizel gritt her teeth - she was out of options. The only weapon being her guns, she already knew the outcome of this situation. Reloading the silver Eagle with a few silent bullets, she raised it upwards, keeping the barrel on her own eye level. Crouching near the very edge of the small corner, she poked her head out, angled the gun and pulled. The chitauri instantly fell dead, hit straight in it's neck, where the armour was lacking. Coming off unnoticed thanks to the gun silencers, Aizel stepped back, waiting for the rest of the monsters to emerge.

(Kita and Kitty? Haha, glad I decided to refer to her as West)Finally, the throne room appeared at the end of the corridor. (The Chitauri tried to disarm her here. She surrendered her hidden blades from the most unlikely places; including several from amongst her amaranth hair, and a very long sword which she drew impossibly from her person, however she feigned innocence on her gloves). The doors were slowly and dramatically opened, which West undermined by paying close attention to the ceiling. The ceiling, she always found, said a lot about the building, how much had been paid for it and who it had been made by. There was much intricate design with which to entangle oneself in, however, it was simply painted on, instead of carved, which was a good example of the human's laziness and either Loki's impatience or neglect. Really now, this was why he needed someone like West. When the Chitauri prodded her to remind her that the doors had been standing open for a while now and she was keeping her host waiting, she snapped back to her senses and used one Chitauri as a hatstand by tossing her trenchcoat over it's head. Only then did she stride into the room (now clad only in that rather revealing backless tank top. And pants, duh.), her chunky spaceboots making loud clacks disproportionate to her tiny size. She ignored where a group of Chitauri indicated for her to address the king from and instead slipped through their grasp, stopping only two meters from Loki before performing a bow so low as to be considered mocking, then sank into a respectful kneel. "Katrina West, at your service, sire," she introduced herself sweetly. "I thank your servants for the interesting tour," West added mischievously. (Note the reason it took so long was that the Chitauri had gotten lost).

@skylark @bunnyshadowMargot stared expectantly up at the vent, waiting for Aaron to make his way down through it. However, before she even saw his face appear, the vent issued a loud groan before it split entirely. Aaron came crashing down onto the floor, slamming his face onto the expensive stone floors. She winced and clenched her teeth, too stunned to move. After a second she regained her senses and dashed over to him. The pudgy boy groaned miserably. "At least he's still conscious," Margot thought to herself, grabbing him by the shoulder and turning him slowly onto his back. She wasn't being purposefully gentle--he was just heavier lifting than she was used to.With a sharp exhale she staggered back, giving the boy enough room to recover. His fall had scattered metal and insulation about the dusty floor, but the apartment wasn't pristine otherwise. The couch, she noticed, was torn in several places. A large wooden chest lay face down near the kitchen. The floor was scuffed in some places, and a few of the walls were marked with dark blotches. There had been some kind of fight in here, she realized with a sinking feeling. This very well could have been Stark's last stand.Suddenly, a massive smashing noise rang out, and building material rained down from the roof. Instinctively she ducked and covered her neck, looking up just to notice a silvery white figure shooting down through the gap. In a flash of light they shot a hole through the floor and continued on their way down. All this happened in a dizzying second; Margot could barely believe her eyes. She was left with a ringing in her ears as she stared up at the hole in the ceiling. After another moment, someone else emerged from the gap. She had long, dark hair and fierce eyes, and her clothes were richly embroidered. Whoever this girl was, she had money. The realization hit Margot like a slap in the face: this was the girl she had run into before. This was the girl she had electrocuted, and who had vowed that she would die. This girl was Loki's daughter--Sylvia, Frost had said.Margot swore she could feel her heart fall right into her stomach and dissolve."JARVIS!" she shouted, and lunged forward. With adrenaline flowing through her veins she hurled the couch over to form a barrier between her and Sylvia. Then, she took off sprinting into the back rooms. "She's bad news!" she shouted up at the ceiling, desperately looking for some place to hide.
