"Woah! Blondie, Giggles, stop for a second." Shaula said. "Oh, and Giggles means you." Shaula said, pointing to Frost. "I'm being serious. I pity you. To go against an enemy like Loki... It takes courage. But if you really think about it... Would a small pack of teenagers be able to stand up against an army? An army with well trained fighters? I'm sure you are all strong and brave - you're standing up to a person who could at any moment burn you to a crisp. And I'm sure you could kill hundreds of chitauri - but Loki has millions more." Shaula paused and continued. "I'm giving you an easy way out. I'm nice. You'd all be given a place to stay at - possibly even your own wages if you work hard! And really - if you work hard enough and charm the right people, you could be high-class. Believe me, this chance is once in a lifetime. I'm giving you a choice.

Shaula glanced at Blondie the tiger. "I don't want to fight. Not now, at least." Shaula sighed and looked at Blondie, keeping a steady gaze on her. "I'm sorry for burning you. It was uncalled for." she said ruefully. "But if you stay here, fighting for your freedom, you'll get much worse scars than that."

She turned her gaze to Frost. "Take it or leave it. You won't get an offer like this again."

Aykay growled. Whatever the others chose was their decision. She would not get captured again. If this girl was serious about not fighting, it would be safe to transform back. If not... well she'd suffered worse. She resumed her human form and glared at the girl.

"The others can speak for themselves, but I will be servant to no one." she growled. "Besides, if you are caught housing fugitives wanted by Sylvia, you will be no less hunted than we are. Keep your empty promises to yourself. I'm not taking your deal."

Shaula smiled and nodded. "Do as you wish. Keep in mind though, that I could explain it all to Sylvia - you would be known as slaves to me."

The moth fluttered over to Shaula's shoulder. It was now perche on the perfect position for listening in on any conversations. It's antennae wiggled with glee as if it sensed that something interesting was happening. The insect seemed to grin as it flared it's wings out.
-
Sylvia sat up in the water, holding out a arm as she dug into her dirty clothes for an extra of the spying devices. She had two, one for each of the insects with her. One of them was with Kita, and the other was... Here. Sylvia slid it out of her pocket and switched it on, impatiently tapping the screen with a sharp nail. The first video feed that popped up was Margot trying to kill the moth. The second was of Shaula and the rebels. Sylvia chose the second, as she tilted her head to watch the going ons across the city in the tower.

"The others can speak for themselves, but I will be servant to no one. Besides, if you are caught housing fugitives wanted by Sylvia, you will be no less hunted than we are. Keep your empty promises to yourself. I'm not taking your deal.""Do as you wish. Keep in mind though, that I could explain it all to Sylvia - you would be known as slaves to me." She heard a second voice say, that she mildly recognized as Shaula's. The first voice belonged to... The tiger girl. She vaguely remembered her from the prisons.

Sylvia let out a breathy laugh. "How interesting...." she said softly. "They speak as if they are certain that I will do as they say."

Frost really wanted to cut her smug little head off-Giggles...seriously? That was worse than any name Ray ever had given her so far-, then she saw the moth. Might as well give whoever was watching some junk.

She gave her a sarcastic smirk, her eyes icier than ever. "Oh yes. And I'm an idiot. NO. The day that Sylvia listens to you, probably a poor insignificant slave to her, would be the day Loki bows down to mortals. What do you take me for? A fool?"

"Being a slave to you, I'll die any day. In fact, death would be freedom, and my preference. " She paused for a moment, thinking of what to say next. It had to hit that girl hard...

"Besides, who said anything about Loki?" Frost said this with a straight and emotionless face, although her eyes were wide with faked innocence. "Only you did. I'm just an innocent person, trying to make a living. Sure, I may have mentioned my dislike somewhere, but I'm not doing anything that'll harm his empire." She barely said these last few words without puking. Wow, she probably sounded very maniacal right now...

She took her swords and narrowed her eyes. Then she stepped closer, trying to get a good position. Her swords were in a defensive X, just in case the girl lunged for her.

If she could get a second, to stab in...or make her lean to to the side where her sword was waiting....

That moment passed, and she lunged for the girl, her non-wounded leg aiming for the side of that girl's knee, and one of her hands positioning for the sword to be right behind the girl-hopefully, cutting her if she bent back while losing balance. If she was lucky in that, it may cut off the head...but that was unlikely. This was mostly one of her theories...and although she had tried some of them, this wasn't always successful.

Frost knew she might get burned, but a small price to pay if it wasn't too serious. She quickly glanced at Aykay, hoping that she'll get the message of helping her keep the girl down.

Ray shifted uncomfortably. He didn't try and attack the Fireball, only stared at her curiously. Lets face it, some of the stuff she was saying really hit home. Millions of Chitauri... And there was what Aykay had said herself not ten minutes ago. Even if this was the right side, was it a good one?
He wasn't seriously thinking of going with her, of course not! But... If only such a deal was real, it would be tempting... Would it really be any worse than being a slave in the factories?
"... Nicer than Sylvia?" he wondered under his breath, trying to compare the two (and also wondering if the fireball would regret that later). He couldn't help but reflect that while Sylvia had seemed pretty bad when she'd strangled him by way of a greeting, it was hard to associate that image with the one where she was a cute little girl who liked stories and talked to prisoners for company- honestly, she'd seemed nicer then than any of the rebels. "..." He supposed most people were nice to their friends and mean to their enemies, though the guys on this side were noticeably less violent before the introduction...
Ray actually found that he wanted to see Sylvia again. But it wasn't going to be as a slave or a captive.
"Frost..." he looked at her when she had spoken, forgetting to 'forget' her name and call her something silly. She was absolutely right, Sylvia would do what she wanted. He bet that everything the Fireball said was as insubstantial as her flames. (Though the second part about dying made him feel a little squeamish).
But... How were they to fight someone like this? Obviously, they needed to use... "Water." He pointed at the random bottled water cooler sitting in the corner, presumably for Chitauri.

>That's right. I godmodded. Problem? XD

Loki lifted an eyebrow in mild interest in what last happened in Asgard, stated by West.
A tiny crack of emotion appeared towards the mention of his parents. Loki wanted to cry at the thought that his parents were still alive. Would Thor still be alive too? The past long years of his ungraceful ruling seemed to dissolve and give way to his childhood. Always bullied by blasted Thor and his good looks. Always the scrawny, stupid, adopted brother who was not in control of his emotions. Never the girl-magnent or somebody useful. (Not that Thor was especially useful.) Loki wanted to slam his fists on the table and rip all of food off of it. Maybe point his blaster at West and finish her off.
That'd feel nice.

But noooo, he had to keep her alive and use her. [yeep]! Even West is more useful then he ever was. Blasted bloody everyone is more purposeful then him.
Biting the inside of his lip so that no one would notice, he flatly stated, "Oh? They're still alive? Hm."

He wanted to add 'Interesting, thought they would finally die and everyone in bloody Asgard would forget about bloody me' but refrained from doing so.

Instead, he got straight to the point by whispering; "West, what the hell is going on out there? Why aren't the rebels dead yet?" He leaned back into his seat and continued, "I hear unusually high numbers of causalities in the Chitauri, so I'm refraining from sending more in until I get a better grip on the situation. There's more bands of rebels opening up throughout Earth as word spreads that a tiny, disorganized patch of rebels are effectively hindering my beautiful operation." He gave West a disappointed look, wagging his index finger. "Anyways, as I'm holding off on using the Chitauri, they're being upgraded to be more efficient and harder to kill." He shrugged by throwing his hands apart. "Might as well as do something useful, right? Since no one can put out some odd number of weak rebels..." He growled, sitting back again and pressed his fingers together as he waited for West's reply.

Andrew sat in the cleverly concealed room, staring at the expanse of screens.
He was learning everything he could about Stark Industries and how/why Stark is still alive today.
His metallic ring finger actually was a more complex version of a USB adaptor, working as it was now plugged in the JARVIS's keyboard. Andrew was in awe as he learned everything that was stored in JARVIS's memory databank. As the download finally ceased, he noticed that there was a bunch of new people among the rag-tag group. Oi, that short girl wasn't a rebel... she's a Loki follower. [yeep], Sylvia probably sent her to get me. Didn't she know of the homing devi- oh, only Loki knows that. Andrew rolled his eyes. Sylvia probably thought he wasn't doing anything important and that he was wasting time. Smirking to himself inside his helmet, he had outsmarted her again. Surely Loki will be please with his new information. He just needed time to sort through it...
But now, what to do with Shaula? She seemed like an arrogant brat, but he would not underestimate her. Sylvia wouldn't send someone weak to get him, of that Andrew was completely sure. Jumping down through his make-shift hole, Andrew silently made his way down as he thought of plans.

I'm on a roll! Wooo~!
@silver_winged

Aaron remained silent, darting looks at Stark and the moth.
For once, he wasn't sure with one to slap first.
Sighing in his head, Aaron decided on the latter- he could get the foremost later on.
As the moth danced its way near him, it landed on a metal-lined wall.
In a flash, Aaron had his hand firmly square on the moth. His eyes teared up as his hand stung by the sudden meeting of metal. He clasped the moth extremely tightly in his iron grip, his middle finger nail driving through the centre of it. "Bloody 'ell, thought they died years ago."
As he thought, Aaron frowned at it- "No, they definitely died years ago... this must be an electronic one."
As he made connections in his head, his eyes widened.

Aaron grabbed Margot's wrist as he basically flew down the stairs, so quickly that not very much sound was made, to outside. Running as fast as he could, trusting that Stark was close behind him and the Margot could run on her own now, he escaped through extremely dark alleyways. Not once ever doubting his infallible sense of direction, he headed northwest to the deep forests, avoiding Chitauri clusters and hotspots for robbers.
Aaron knew he had to act fast, and if this wasn't fast enough, they all might as well be dead. He was on a team with THE leader of the rebels AND an escaped prisoner- the most important one EVER.

He stopped at a corner to catch his breath and to wait hopefully.
His patience rewarded him: a chitauri hovercraft/plane took off on the extended runway, emitting a sudden burst of floodlights. As the plane left, the floodlights turned off and Aaron ran in a crouched position across the runway into the edge of the forest.

The trio had successfully left the city without harm.

The three of them came to a stop in the forest. They were clear of Midtown Manhattan.

Margot leaned her weight against a tree, taking deep breaths. Her lack of food and sleep the past few days was easy enough to ignore sneaking around Stark Tower, but running for long distances made it difficult to ignore. She pulled out a can of food that she'd swiped from one of the apartments earlier and pried it open with her screwdriver. She downed half of it before she could so much as taste what it was.

She handed the rest of it to Aaron, glancing back toward the city. It was still visible through the trees. A thick pillar of black smoke still floated up from Stark Tower, distinguishing it from the skyline. Ray and the others were still in there. Margot had tried not to dwell on their lack of response, but it was clear that something had gone wrong. It was her responsibility to take care of it.

She emptied her satchel of all the excess material she was carrying--food, a few scraps of metal, Stark's camcorder. The other two could look after it until she came back, and it would be easier to run without the extra weight. Her eyes felt heavy.

"I'm going back for the others," she announced. "Stay in this area and I'll meet up with you." Before Aaron could protest, she dashed back off toward the city. She assumed he was in no shape to go running after her.

Stark stared after her as she ran, too dazed to feel much of anything. Once she had completely gone from sight, he turned back toward the pudgy kid and picked up a spare can of food. She hadn't left them anything to open it with.

"Thanks for getting me out of there," he said. To be honest he didn't think this kid had done a whole lot to help, but he wouldn't let that show. "You know my name, what's yours?"

It felt so strange to be under the dark of the trees. For years he'd been drowned in fluorescent light twenty-four hours a day; he'd both fallen asleep and woken up to it. Now, his eyes were having trouble adjusting to the darkness. It was almost soothing to be cloaked in the unknown wilderness.

Margot reentered Stark Tower through a window on the first floor. There were still a few Chitauri escaping the building through the front door, but the back of the building was clear. "Looks like that fire diversion was useful," she thought to herself with a slight smirk. Who was it again who hadn't liked the idea?

She located the stairs quickly and began climbing the levels. The group wasn't particularly difficult to find; she could hear their voices through the holes in the ceilings. Silently, she approached the lot of them.

The reason they'd been detained (as far as she could tell) was a red-haired girl Margot had never seen before. There were two other strange kids as well, but the way they hung back near Frost, she assumed they were freed prisoners or something like that.

As silently as possible, Margot crept up on the red-haired girl from behind. "Don't turn around," she urged in her head, "don't turn around . . ." Finally close enough, she grabbed for the girl with both hands, hoping to electrocute her into temporary submission.

Aykay was relieved to see Margot, but Aaron wasn't with her and neither was Stark. What had happened?

She crossed her arms, looking at the girl.

"Frost is right. Sylvia isn't gonna let you do whatever your heart so desires. If she wanted you to get us, she wants us. And she's a princess. Princesses get what they want."

She thought she heard something like metal hitting the ground, but just assumed it was the collapsed ceiling on the floor above. She couldn't allow herself to get distracted with this girl, even with Margot's backup.

Frost stopped in mid-kick. Then she realized how ridiculous she looked. Hair untied and and all princess-like--bleh--one leg in the air, holding two swords in seemingly random positions. She quickly stepped back and asked Ray, "What?" Then she realized what he said. She cursed at herself. She was brain-dead.

What surprised her more was that Margot came running up and grabbed for the girl. Frost kept her face passive, and she aimed the tips of her swords on the girl's neck. No time to get water now. Her eyes were trained coolly on the girl. "Don't make me make a slip of my hand." she murmured venomously.

Sylvia stared at the screen, her chin resting on her fist, as her arm rested on the edge of the tub. She placed the device on the counter as she stood and let the dirty water drain out. Her hands reached up to rub her face of any dirt as she stood in the spray of water. A hand reached out to turn off the water as she stepped out and wrapped a towel around herself.

She unlocked the door as she stepped back into her room. Sylvia reached for her wardrobe, searching for more casual clothing. The demi-god wasn't planning to leave for another few days. Let Shaula, Andrew, the Chitauri, anyone else, deal with the rebels.

She snatched a shirt, pants, and undergarments before putting them on. Sylvia sunk into bed, pulling the fluffy blankets around herself. The demi-god pulled an extra pillow towards her, hugging it close to her chest. With a sigh of contentment, Sylvia closed herself and drifted away into sleep.

Kita pocketed the device the princess had given her, making a mental note to check it after her duties were complete. She returned to master Loki's study, pausing for a moment outside the door.

She could sense resentment burning above all other emotions in the room and knew it was Loki. She knew she had to proceed with caution. He might be more inclined to withhold an angry outburst from his guests, but he had no qualms taking his anger out on her.

She opened the door and quietly walked in, collecting empty serving dishes, trying not to make eye contact with anyone.

Oh, had she said something wrong? On close inspection, Loki's expression reminded her of the time when Frost Giants had interrupted Thor's ceremony to be made heir to the throne, and the god of thunder had overturned a long table laden with food... The mess had be extraordinary. If Loki ever looked like he might pull a 'Thor, this was it. In fact, if she didn't know better, she'd have guessed he was contemplating killing her. This was a lot worse than she could have supposed. She sighed very slightly.
Uncomfortable, she altered positions from her crouch to a huddle so she could hug her knees tightly to her stomach, looking very tiny and vulnerable, though the latter was deceptive. "I have been," she murmured tiredly, "searching the nine realms for you ever since you disappeared, how many years ago is it now? I'm very sorry for my inattention to resistance movements..." her eyelashes fluttered. "Though I may recall interrupting the death of your little Angel at the hands of two. Oh! They were interesting ones, you know. The boy was cute," she added as an aside. "Most humans are ever so dreary, especially as slaves. They say, 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,'" West quoted nonsensically. "The same goes for kings, you know, Prince," she smiled daringly, shifting her pose yet again to perfectly elegant crossed-legs straight-back, just as any lady of stature had drilled into her. "Truly," she said softly, so that one would have to lean closer to hear, and with genuine feeling in her voice, "my one wish is to see you happy. You know I am loyal to other but you,. You need only wish it and I will, to the best of my abilities, deliver... It goes with saying. If stamping out petty rebels is really your desire, then so be it."
She resumed her original crouching position for a moment (how she hated sitting like a 'proper lady'!), then stood (which hardly increased her height), stretching, before declaring with a cute West-esque pout; "But that'd be no fun....!"
Was he really going to tell her not to 'play with her food'? She almost didn't know what to think of this new Loki, sitting on a stupid chair all day, drinking wine and nibbling- well, admittedly the cheese was good. Still, what had happened to the god of mischief and lies? Since when did the one who reveled in chaos care for his, 'beautiful operation'? Huhh... West was tired though, and unless he had something which required her immediate attention, she was heading to box- er, bed.

Aizel had anticipated them actually getting their move on, setting off to find Madge and Aro, then escape, but a certain frizzy-haired pyromaniac had to jump in... It was a nice change of scene, better than standing around like a statue and doing nothing. Not that anybody else had been much productive - maybe except Zoe, who'd been tending to Pyra while Frost and Aykay had come to creepy revelations (brain penetration or whatever Sylvia had been doing to Aykay seriously freaked her out).

So everything had been going painfully slow and boring when a mad fire girl appeared, tearing through a wall and wounding Aykay, then departing, then returning and threatening them again and...

And now Margot! Where had she come from!? What!? Eh?
It was a bit too much to process, considering her brain had been on stand-by mode, reflexes acting up before she could figure out what had happened.

So now she had the Chitauri spear threateningly aimed at the girl's head, looking enraged and blood-thirsty. This effect was notably reduced when she realized she had the metallic weapon upside down, with the right end pointed at herself.
With a curse she flipped it around, face reddening with embarassment and annoyance.
Worst time to be brain dead.
-

Shortly after Kita entered, leaving the door slightly ajar, a pale figure stopped in front of it, pausing to smarten up its looks and hair before entering. It was thin enough to fit through the opening of the large double doors, but instead chose to slowly push them apart, letting them creak in announcement of its arrival. The guards let the figure pass, without any questions of identity, and watched as it silently approached the chatting duo.

Quietly, it snuck towards them, using not shadows but light as a cover. It's white complexion and bright features blended in easily, as did the white robes it wore. Stopping two meters from the Emperor, it dipped down to a respectful level, bowing gracefully.

"Good evening, my liege." a gentle female voice chimed in the conversation. The young woman's platinum blonde hair slightly obscured her eyes, but it was evident she was looking at the newly come, pink haired arrival. Lips, pulled into a small welcoming smile, contrasted to neutral (almost wary looking) eyes. The girl did not look threatening - more helpless than anything. What alarmed her was the unease Loki radiated. Her Emperor was angry, sad and resentful all at once - it was most concerning.

Zoe ignored the fight. What could she do anyways? Throw a jar at them? Instead, she tended to Pyra, who was still unnaturally cold, and out cold. There wasn't much she could do though, so she just sat there. Jake stood in front of her, as if to protect her, but Zoe rolled her eyes inwardly....

Oh noes. She was turning into Alexi-Frost. Inward panic grabbed at her as she freaked out. Then she realized that she was going crazy over nothing. She made no sound but she turned to watch this fight. Intently.

Gender: Female
Age: 17
Side: She has a hard time with deciding. Camilla will side for anyone that treats her nicely.
Powers/Armor/Suit: Camilla can drain the life of people and animals. She needs her power to live. When she drains life from anything, it keeps her alive. However, Camilla can only drain life by touching with her left arm. Camilla can live for as long as she can use her power. She doesn't need food, she doesn't need anything. She just needs a bug, a animal, anything that she could drain life from.
Personality: She has a short attention span, and has problems concentrating on anything longer than necessary. Others may call her stupid, but she's not as dim witted as you think. Camilla may not be as smart as normal people, but she tries her best to learn as much as she can. When she likes something, she will easily become obsessive. Not only does this include inanimate objects, but living things, too. Camilla can be over emotional at times, but only when something really hurts her. She knows how to keep herself alive with her power.

Appearance: Camilla has wavy platinum blonde hair that reaches a little beneath the middle of her back. She has light skin along with pale blue and gray eyes. She has full lips and there are occasional darker blonde streaks that blend with her hair. Camilla is tall, with curves in all the right places. She has long legs, and wears a tank top and a dark colored jacket that looks to big for her. Boots and dark pants finish her appearance. She always wears a white glove that ends at the top of her elbow. She never takes it off when other people are around, not even if its dirty. Printed on the palm of her left hand is an permanent X.
History: Camilla had always had a brother that she loved more dearly then anything. He looked after Camilla and loved her just as much as she loved him. One day when they were walking together, a pack of chitauri surrounded them. They asked for her brother, and took them away from her even as she cried and begged for them to leave him alone. They dragged her brother away, and left Camilla in the dust. To this day, she still hasnt learned what had become of him, and if hes dead or alive. She began to wander around, looking everywhere she could for her brother.
Other: She misses her brother. She misses him a lot. She wants to see him. She wants to talk to him. She wants to love him. Her brother was there for her whenever she cried.

Camilla peered out from behind a tree at a deer that was laying on the ground. Parts of the animal were twisted in odd places, as if it had been played with just to see how much pain it could take. Just looking at the animal made Camilla's lips curve downwards in a small frown. She stepped out from behind the tree and kneeled down besides the poor animal. It shied away fearfully at first. Though after a bit of coaxing, it placed it's head in her hands.

The blonde girl stared into the large brown eyes of the deer. "I'm sorry." She said softly as she rubbed it's head. Camilla looked around, as if trying to spot if anyone was nearby, before turning back to the animal. The girl pushed up her sleeve on her left arm, before slowly taking off the white glove. "I'm sorry." Camilla said once again to the animal.

The girl placed her left hand on the animal's neck. The deer thrashed around the second she touched it's skin. Energy flowed from the animal into Camilla's veins. Once the flow of life trickled away, Camilla stood up and backed away from the deer, a single tear trickling from her eye. The girl felt as refreshed as ever. Whenever she used her power, it made her feel as if she were invlunerable.

As she stepped under cover of the trees, she pulled on her white glove over her left hand as she moved. The silence of the woods made her think of her brother. She missed him... so much. Her heart ached just thinking about how the metal aliens took him away with ought permission.

Camilla broke out into a run, deciding to tire herself enough so that she couldn't think. She darted through the forest, her blue eyes quickly taking in her surroundings. The girl stopped after a while, her breath coming out in sharp bursts. Exercise was always good. "- meet up with you." A feminine voice spoke. Camilla turned in the direction of the voice, as she barely caught the last statement. Camilla walked lightly towards the location. Peering out from behind a tree, like she did to the deer, she saw a clearing. The girl saw the retreating back of a female that was to far away for her to see details. Her gaze moved towards the center of the clearing where she saw a fat boy. He was dirty, as if he had been caught in a fight. After taking the pudgy boy in, her stare caught onto a man. He was in an even worse condition than the fatty. He looked as if he had been beat, and tortured. The man was skinny. Camilla stared out at him with concern. The man looked starved. As she continued looking at the two in the clearing, trying to make out more details, she stepped a little bit forward. To caught up in her task, she remained oblivious to the fact that she had both cracked a dry twig, and rustled the leaves of a growing bush.

Personality: Is very intense in everything he does, but is also highly impressionable. He was raised in a Loki-loyal home and so believes that Loki is the rightful ruler of Earth.
Appearance: Tall with dark eyes and short, dark hair. He is muscular from extensive training and has many scars from fighting rebels.
History: Was born into a Loki-supporting family and joined a group of rebel-hunters when he was old enough. His powers made him a powerful asset to the group and he moved up the ranks. He currently works in a team with a young chitauri, whom he calls Taku (he cant pronounce its real name).
Other(?): Is Aykays older brother. He can understand basic Chitauri language (but cannot speak it).

Kita bowed as the woman entered. She wasn't terribly fond of this one, but as she was here so frequently, she had to treat her with respect rather than the indifference she could afford with any other visitor.

"Milady." she said softly, in case she might have some request that she would most likely have to go incredibly out of her way to fulfill.

However small and quiet the girl was, Ezra still found herself lightly irked by her interruption, albeit the soft tone. The girl seemed ever so devoid of emotion, serving her duties and making it painfully clear. The empathic waves of light frustration that Kita emited didn't bother the blue-tinted woman one bit and she proceeded to smile welcomingly. Since the servant was mere inches away, Ezra reached over, leaning in while doing so, and placed a hand on her knee, patting the girl's head once, like she was petting a child.
"Hello, darling." she chirped light-heartedly. The benefit of feigning innocence and obedience was known to both, it seemed and Ezra found it appealing to outdo the girl in act.
"Why don't you pour me a cup of wine?"

Kita nodded and quietly excused herself to grab a glass and different wine. While Loki liked the wine she had previously brought in, Ezra had... finer tastes.

She quickly glanced over the cabinet and grabbed the most expensive stuff she could find, which was reserved for her. She carried it and a crystal wineglass back to Loki's office. Ezra's pleasant behavior towards Kita was so fake it pained her, but to be fair, Kita was guilty of the same fakeness wasn't she?

Returning to the room, she poured the wine and held it out to Ezra, making sure to stand off to the side so as not to interrupt anything.

Ethan surveyed the scene with great interest. He had found it odd when there had been a sudden outbreak of rebel activity a short distance from Stark Tower, but this seemed to explain it.

Smoke poured out of some of the lower windows from a recently extinguished fire. Nearby, rebels were running around causing general chaos in the streets, mob-attacking chitauri guards.

"They've hit the prison." he said, contemplatively. "But who would have such power?"

He turned to his chitauri companion, Taku and the prisoner he held in his claws.

"Who set you free?" he asked the young man, who was clearly too frightened to lie.

"A group of superhumans." he said shakily. "Four or more of them... I don't know. There was a guy with a shiny hand... a scary-looking girl with a gun... a tiger..."

"A tiger?" he interrupted. Now this was interesting...

Frost rolled her eyes. She quickly turned one of her swords into a stick. Then she did the logical thing. She hit the bad person in the back of the head, while not hitting the good people. On purpose, anyways. "Now, was that really so hard?" she murmured to herself. Sure, she strained her arm, but it wasn't anything.

She stepped back and scanned for the exit, but eventually ended up looking at Margot to lead the way. "So," she started out, her face kept blank again, as she added mockingly inside her head 'O wise leader'. "Lead the way." she continued. She added to the others, "Any of you can too." She shrunk her weapons, turned it into a clip, and clipped it to the back of her hair, keeping it all together.

Jake felt like a useless buffoon. Or maybe it was just that all the girls were so much tougher. They were all like dear little Frosty over there-laughing in the face of death, not scared easily, and most of all, fast reactors to a situation while he stood there as if he had been tasered. He started to wonder what he had got himself and Zoe into.

Yeah, he could learn how to fight better, but he preferred chemicals, proportions, science, stuff like that. A new type of lethal liquid would be better than planning like Alexis, or Zoe, who spent her days doodling and using plants to make new..... unnecessary products, that actually turned out to work. (He didn't think that the chitauri enjoyed her dirt gel...) He stood there, pondering in uncertainty of what to do now.

Aykay growled and looked to the exit door. They had spent enough time here hadn't they? Sylvia was beginning to send in her goons...

"It would be wise for us to leave. I don't know where you're planning to go..." this was directed at Margot. "But wherever it is, we should get going before something tougher than this fireball comes along... And we definitely need to get Pyra some form of medical attention."

Ethan turned to Taku.

"Let that one go." he said simply. When Taku began to protest, he shook his head. "We're going to have our hands full soon enough. This one will be easier to recapture.

Hesitantly, Taku let go and the young man went running off into the trees.

"Let's keep watch for now." he said.
