@dada_dragon @leafpelt~~~Sylvia smiled at Kita. "Are you ready to witness what happens when- not if we catch you being disloyal to the empire?" She asked. Humans stared fearfully at the group as they headed off towards 'home'. A few stayed, mostly the younger ones- and watched with curiosity. Normally, Sylvia would dismiss them with a warning, but today- today, she wanted them to stay- to watch.
dada_dragon • 16 May 2013 at 12:13 AM
Kita looked down uncomfortably, gripping the weapon tightly in her hands. She had no idea what Sylvia planned to do, but she didn't like where this was going...
bunnyshadow • 16 May 2013 at 12:51 AM
@dada_dragon~~~"Yes." Sylvia agreed. Her lips tilted upwards into her trademark smile, before sloping back down into a straight line just as quickly. The demi god walked over to where Ethan kneeled. "Rise." She said to the captain. Only seconds later, she lifted a booted foot and kicked Ethans side. "Or not." Sylvia added. Her green eyes glinted with glee as she spoke, obviously enjoying the pleasure of mocking the traitor. She lifted her arm up and flicked her hand over to where Taku was. As Sylvia continued to torment Ethan, a few from the pack of chitauri split and walked over to Taku, where they began to mock him in their terrible language, and beat him as well. Jeering him on how he was becoming a disgrace to their kind. "This!" Sylvia said before using a hand and pushing Ethan. "Is what happens when we figure out that you are not loyal to the empire!" she paused and turned to face the small crowd that had gathered. "No matter your ranking, whether it be captain or not- you WILL be punished for breaking even the smallest of laws! There will be no. Exceptions." The demi-god turned back to Ethan, her eyes narrowed."Arrest him!" she ordered to the chitauri troop. They happily complied, and began handcuffing Ethan rather roughly. Her gaze traveled back to Taku. "Leave it." She said when the aliens made toward arresting him, too. The girl began speaking in the chitauri language once again. 'No one touch it. Leave him here with the humans, let them do what they will with it. However, if he decides to rejoin the empire, so be it.'
dada_dragon • 16 May 2013 at 1:29 AM
Ethan groaned in pain as they lifted him to his feet and bound him. He made no moves to try and free himself. He had broken the law. This was his punishment...He turned to Taku, who seemed to want to follow Ethan. Ethan shook his head."Don't make my mistake, Taku." He said. "I was the one who broke the law, not you. There's no use in you losing your job too..."Taku nodded and hesitantly joined the other chitauri.

@dada_dragon @bunnyshadow @asi~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Frost believed Aykay. Wow.She's trusted someone. She could imagine Zoe cheering, "Yeah! That's the way to go! Good progress!"It sounded truthful. It felt truthful."Rioting, disruptive, destruction-seeking, chaos-loving anarchists?" she muttered. "Why, thank you for the compliment." It was only half-sarcastic; after all, she did like chaos sometimes. "We're all here for survival. Not rebellion. Labeled but not defined." she muttered next. They were branded as troublemakers, but no one actually took time to see that they weren't always trying to mix chaos into life. She then added nonchalantly, "Do you still care about your brother?"
bunnyshadow • 16 May 2013 at 1:42 AM
@dada_dragon @asi~~~"You named it, too?" Sylvia asked Ethan in disgust once they and the workers were seperated by a fairly large distance. They were on their way to the prison. As the chitauri made it their job to uncuff the captain and shove him in a cell, Sylvia spoke."You'll be staying here for the next few days." She said. "Maybe more. If your pride has taken a huge blow to itself, so be it. Public appearances must he kept." The girl blew at her nails and rubbed her eyes. "You would want your position back, wouldn't you? Is it not everything to you?" Sylvia's smile was sickly sweet. "I'll gladly give it back. Not only will you receive your job, but soon enough, you will receive your sibling, too." Her gaze traveled from the dirty walls of the cell to Ethan. "I'll be using your arrest to make sure she arrives willingly. Your only job for now is to be the loving older brother that has now been thrown in jail."
dada_dragon • 17 May 2013 at 12:51 AM
Ethan clenched his fists, but kept his composure and polite tone."So your plan is to use my arrest to get her on your side?" he asked. "I don't know that it will work, princess. We were not on good terms when I left..."Kita stood behind Sylvia, listening intently. She could tell that he was struggling to balance his loyalty to the princess with his love of his sister. No wonder she was sensing such a mix of emotion from him...@bunnyshadow
leafpelt • 17 May 2013 at 4:14 AM
@dada_dragon Frost mentally noted, Mindless idiot with lack of foresight. "Aren't you afraid that he'll be in trouble? I heard a princess called him away."She paused, contemplating whether she should put this question on the table. She kept her eyes closed, half drifting off, half in reality. "If you had to choose between saving your brother or staying true to your morals, your causes, which would you choose?"To her, this was easy. She had no siblings, Zoe was the closest, and she had Jake...yup, she could do a ditch if she needed to. So, obviously, choice number 2. Pretty much all she had left.
bunnyshadow • 17 May 2013 at 10:05 AM
@dada_dragon ~~~"It will work, Captain. I am sure of at least this much. You and her still have feelings for each other- no matter what is said." She stared at Ethan, her tone steady as she spoke. "Am I right?" Sylvia asked.
dada_dragon • 17 May 2013 at 11:12 AM
Aykay laughed at the question. "Well I'm here and not home, right?" She answered. "And I doubt he's in trouble. He probably just got called away for a mission."Her stomach growled. She hadn't eaten since they were in the tunnel"You guys hungry too?" She asked.@asi@leafpeltEthan shifted uncomfortably."Of course, princess." He said. "But how will she even know I'm here?"@bunnyshadow
leafpelt • 18 May 2013 at 12:27 AM
@dada_dragon @asiFrost jumped up. Yeah, one could tell she enjoyed hunting. This seemed to be a nice place with food. "Any fresh game?" she asked, her clip in her hand, ready to turn into the weapon she would need. Far range=bow and arrows, no contest. Close range...a spear, or dagger. She vaguely remembered Zoe telling her not to reopen the gashes on her legs, but since when did she listen to Zoe? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Zoe's fingers strummed impatiently. She took out a slightly tattered blanket from her backpack and gestured for Jake to come closer. "We should rest while waiting," she muttered quietly to him. She saw him roll his eyes, but obliged anyways. They huddled together, watching, drifting.
dada_dragon • 18 May 2013 at 1:12 AM
Aykay yawned. She would be needing sleep soon as well..."There's always game in these woods... I'm going to go over this way." She gestured off to her right. "I shouldn't be gone long. Just be careful you don't shoot me with that thing of yours when I'm coming back..."Before Frost could reply, she ran off. She had a tiger belly to fill and she didn't want to have to share anything she found...@leafpelt@asi
leafpelt • 18 May 2013 at 1:38 AM
@dada_dragon Frost started off. She made sure that her hair was neatly braided and won't get in her way. She readied her bow and arrows, and set off in the opposite direction. She decided to hunt for a rabbit or deer. A bear, if they still existed, would always be preferred. With no sound, she slowly started to track down her meal.
bunnyshadow • 18 May 2013 at 1:41 AM
@dada_dragon @asi @leafpelt~~~"Trust me, Captain." Sylvia said softly. The demigod butchered the pronunciation of the tiger girl's name. "Ay-eh-kay-eh will know. What's that you humans have? A bad feeling in the gut when someone close to you is in trouble?" She suddenly steered the conversation to something else. "What are you going to do about it?" she asked, referring to Taku.
dada_dragon • 22 May 2013 at 12:55 AM
@bunnyshadow Ethan shrugged."Taku can decide for himself what he wants." he answered. "He followed me because I was captain and those were his orders. But your orders far outweigh mine, so he'll follow you, I'm sure."Ethan wasn't entirely sure that was true, though. Taku had gone through training with them, so they'd been on even ground for a long time before he'd ever been captain. Maybe him not questioning Ethan's desire to see, but not harm, his sister was purely because he was developping human emotions, but really it was hard to tell with Taku..."As for Aykay, she's not exactly as in touch with her human side as anyone suspects. The methods employed in the tower prison worked as I'm sure you and the emperor intended." he felt a twinge of bitterness, but pushed it aside. It had been Aykay's fault... "She used to be much less... on edge, I suppose. And I'm willing to bet that when it comes down to it, her survival instincts will win over compassion. Even if she comes, she'll run like the coward she is the second she senses danger."He'd almost forgotten who he was talking to. He had gotten so caught up in his anger over what she'd done to their family that he'd lost sight of where he was..."I'm sorry, princess." he apologized. "I was out of line."@bunnyshadowIt wasn't long before Aykay caught the scent of a nearby doe. She climbed a tree and waited for it to pass beneath her.The doe seemed to understand that something was wrong as it passed, but it didn't know to look up. Before it even knew what was going on, Aykay pounced, pinning it.She was about to take a swipe at it when she saw something move in the bushes. There were two young fawns, nervously watching her.Perhaps it was just the hunger and fatigue, but they reminded her of those two kids right before...WHAM!!!The mother doe had gotten loose and kicked her in the side of the head. While she was dazed from the blow, the doe struggled free and ran, the fawns close behind.Today was not her day...She got up dizzily and set off again. She didn't want to have to ask Frost for food...@asi@leafpelt
bunnyshadow • 23 May 2013 at 1:26 AM
@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia smiled at Ethan. "Stay with me." she said to Kita. "Stand or sit, I do not care. The rest of you, leave. Give me a few pieces of paper first." A chitauri placed the requested pieces of paper in her outstretched hand before stepping away. The demi-god teleported into the cell, deciding not to open the door. Once inside, she kneeled down on the ground besides Ethan. As she flattened the paper on the ground, a pencil materialized in the air and fell into her hand. Once all set, she began to explain the plan. As she spoke, she wrote on the paper, occasionally marking and crossing out words. Once the first paper was filled, another one soon took it's place. Now, instead of words and sentences were pictures and arrows that boldened what to do if the plan were to go awry.As she spoke, her voice turned from cold and cruel to light and airy. Sylvia had always had a good time when explaining plans or outlining/coming up with new ideas.
dada_dragon • 23 May 2013 at 1:43 AM
@bunnyshadowEthan listened intently as she outlined her plan. It really was well thought-out and he had a suspicion that at the very least, Aykay would act as Sylvia predicted. He shook off the feeling of guilt he felt in manipulating his sister like this. He was a captain and she was a rebel. It was his duty."Princess, do we have much information regarding the other rebels?" He asked. "I don't like to be unprepared, I'm sure you understand that."
leafpelt • 5 June 2013 at 1:37 AM
Feeling frazzled and frustrated, Frost looked around to make sure the coast was clear, then dropped down under the shade of a tree. She couldn't kill a person with a family.......that reminded way too well of her own situation. She pursed her lips. Perhaps..the reason she was being so friendly and asking EVERY PERSON she met the past couple of days to join their group, the reason she couldn't kill as well every time she thought of her past..yeah, that was it...Loneliness. Isolation. She cocked her head to the side. But it can't be. She always had a sense of pride for her independence, for making people many times her size cry--by talking to them. Boys? Easy victory. Kick them in the right place, stab them in the neck, so...arrogant. The ones that were still alive had earned her recognition. Even fewer, if at all, had touched the surface of her respect.Girls, weren't too hard either. Some had the insanity to play dirtier, like her. One even said, "I'm already on the line of insanity." That got Frost's attention. That girl sounded so much like her, she had to let her go. Frost slowly closed her eyes, thinking. There were almost two of her. One, The Assassin. Cold, detached, and heartless. That Frost truly played with insanity. She would take things so far, she would almost seem beyond human. Perhaps even as bad as Loki's gang. But that self had no memory. It was like a robotic copy. Then there was her down-to-earth self. A little more caring, had more humor, and the side that touched with happiness and sadness. One that had emotion, that could get hurt with words. One that...one that could truly feel--and hard. Frost rarely became this person, nowadays, and no one ever saw this alter-ego. Thinking about this was painful in itself. She drifted off to distant memories...her eyes closed, but her face seemed to be pained.
dada_dragon • 5 June 2013 at 2:34 AM
Finally, Aykay caught her meal.It was a cocky badger who thought he was tougher than everything else in the woods. Unfortunately, these woods hadn't prepared him for a tiger. Not his fault. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, which was a feeling she'd learned to adapt to.Bad things happen. You deal with them. You move on. This was something she'd learned as a tiger, not as a human. Tigers don't sob over their misfortunes, they just dealt with them. Maybe that was why it was easier to be a tiger...And she had been doing fine, right? She hadn't been in her human form for nearly three months when the others had showed up. She'd almost forgotten to speak English, but she'd caught on.English required a human mouth, though. She had been forced to face her human side again. The side that had emotional needs that far surpassed what she could deal with. She transformed back and walked over to a stream to wash off her face. Her reflection frightened her. She was savage... vicious...Inhuman...She quickly washed her face, then for good measure, she slapped the water, creating ripples that hid her reflection. But just like every other thing she'd run away from, the ripples would calm down and the very thing she was trying to hide from would come back to haunt her...The past...The war...Ethan.Frustrated with her lack of control over anything that was going on around her, she roared in anger. Her human throat distorted the sound and made it all the more frightening... at least to her.So this was what madness was like...@bunnyshadow@leafpelt
frost • 5 June 2013 at 2:43 AM
Frost ran. Curse 5 year old legs. Again. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to kill the leader of a drunken(how did they get drunk?) mob. Hmm. He was evil anyways. She gasped as someone grabbed her neck and hit it. Hard. It couldn't be..she swore she ran like a roadrunner... She tried to transform her weapon...but everything went black.~She woke up with a moan. She looked up, realizing she wasn't tied up.... Two people were staring at her. They looked old, as in maybe like her mom and dad. She wasn't angry. More like, curious. "How did you do that?" The man chuckled. "Pressure points. But that's not the point. No pun intended." The woman groaned. "We're your interrogators. We won't kill you." the woman added helpfully.Frost rolled her eyes. She kept her mouth shut. The man continued, jovially even. "You seeee...we know your clip is a weapon." he smiled, taking it out.Frost still said nothing, but her eyes flashed angrily.
leafpelt • 5 June 2013 at 2:46 AM
Time passed. (A/N I had a whole section about her learning... but maybe I'll mix her memories up a little.)The next day, she tried again. She looked at Amber, who apparently chided her, "Don't forget what I told you. And remember, a man has at least two major weaknesses. But you might want to use the third I told you about. " Right. This time, Alien shrugged. "I have my wonderful sword. Your weapon?" he smirked. Frost took out her clip, and changed it into a dagger. She ran and leaped to stab it in, but he went to the side, behind her, and had his sword on her neck. Maybe she worked better under stress. Besides, she was only really good at a bow.She slowly turned to face him, and dropped her dagger. It reverted back to a clip. "Surrender? Not like you." he teased. She smiled pleasantly. She picked the dagger, eye on the sword, and turned it into a pair of fans. "I guess," she said, sounding truly unhappy. Inside, she was pretty gleeful. "I guess...I should fan you to cool you down." she said, her eyes innocent. He looked suspicious for a moment, then grinned. He dropped his sword, closed his eyes, and sat down, leaning against a wall. When Frost saw him opening them again, she smiled cruelly. She was sitting on top of him."I win." she half-snarled. Frost saw that he didn't need to look down, as he felt the tip of a blade from the fan touch his neck. One on each side. She saw him swallow."Touché," he murmured.~~Frost snapped open her eyes again. She'll work on that another time. A little step..trying to gain her humanity back. If there was any left. She stood up. She walked silently, hunting. Scratch out deer. Try...rabbit. Sure, they were cute, but she needed food. Time to play with insanity once again. She sighed as she touched reality.
dada_dragon • 6 June 2013 at 1:20 AM
Aykay just stood there, shaking for a moment. She thought that she'd finally escaped that prison and the effects it had on her, but this was clearly not the case. Why was she back in the fighting anyhow? Regardless of how the war would eventually end, she was a traitor so why pIck sides? She grabbed a couple mostly-intact chunks of meat and brought them back with her. Miraculously, when she checked Pyra, she was still alive, though still unconscious. Still, good news was good news...She wandered off again, leaving the meat there. She wondered what Ethan was good up to now. She certainly hoped he was keeping his mouth shut and hadn't gone and revealed their location.@bunnyshadow@leafpelt
leafpelt • 6 June 2013 at 1:47 AM
@dada_dragon @bunnyshadowSnagged one more. Frost threw her bow in the air, satisfied at the two rabbits she caught. She had shot them both in the neck, a quick and painless death, a small…thanks for keeping her alive. They seemed to be young adults. Surprisingly plump, as there wasn’t that much food for them here. Good. Fresh meat. She almost started skinning them.Oh yeah. She had to think of other people now. A twinge of annoyance hit her as she realized that not everyone could hunt. She shrugged and quietly sprinted back to the clearing, gently dropping her food down, untouched. There were some hunks of meat lying; Aykay must have been there too. She bent down and checked Pyra’s pulse. All seemed fine; but there was almost absolutely no way to tell whether there was any internal damage. “Well, if she’s not dead yet, she’ll probably pull through.†Frost muttered. She went off again. More food, maybe. Water, for sure. That lovely river she swam through earlier-it was only a couple of hours ago, right?-was pretty dirty, but maybe she could purify it. Or better yet, lead to a cleaner source. Going there didn’t seem wise though, after the commotion they made. Frost stopped, tapped her fingers against her lip, and started to find a nice tree where she could just close her eyes, and get a grasp of this place.

Ray had trailed after Aykay, quietly lost in his thoughts. He gave her a decent distance and was so turned inwards that he didn't even hear her yell. Honestly, she could have been in a screaming match with Chitauri, Yeti, blackboard and chalk and oblivious wouldn't have turned a hair.He was thinking about Frost's question, not the simple, earlier one put to them about their pasts, but family or morals. Aykay had laughed it off, but it had been a serious question. Then again, he didn't blame her for it; the answer would probably be very personal. This only really made him want to know both girls' answers more...His own reply? Ray didn't have anything that he'd count as family. His parents, 'siblings'... Well, he had plenty in the category, but whether he'd actually waste a second on any of them... As for morals, he would, that is, if he actually had any! Really, if Ray was one thing, it was confused. He had so many abstract thoughts in his head, sometimes he felt like he was going to explode. Sometimes it helped to word-vomit them out, but mostly he ended up talking it into even more complicated problems... Sigh!*R* > ~W~She followed the Demi-God like a ghost, silent and drifting on feet that seemed so light as to never touch the ground. She listened, she noticed, she didn't change her expression in the least throughout the warrior-captain's discipline or the Demi-God's plan. To be completely honest... West was a little bored. More than ever, she wanted that b- er, bed! Then the warrior asked about the other rebels. If her ears had been those of cat, they would have pricked right up.~W~ > ???Elsewhere, someone else was sitting at a desk and had their eyes on a screen when a certain button was pressed. This person sat very straight, their strong, muscular frame held an impeccable posture after years of strict standing to attention. However, the greying hair was a tell-tale sign that this person was nearing the middle-age of their life.A video box popped up on screen. The set of reactions the person showed ranged from surprise and curiosity to shock and disgust. The video, was...Oh god, it was...Footage from the surveillance in the new army recruits' showers! The file had been sent to every military computer, and for some reason, no matter what the person did, it could not be removed!

Aykay walked to the edge of the forest and looked out at the slave houses that stood at odd intervals among the remains of a pre-Loki residential area. Her old home was far away from here. She'd lived in a pretty modest home by loyalist standards. But compared to these small buildings, it was a palace really... running water... heating... air conditioning... unrationed food...She hadn't noticed Ray at first, but she'd been lost in her own thoughts. Now that she had..."I can hear you back there." she said without turning around. She could never really be sure that he heard her. He seemed so spacey a lot of the time. She figured he probably spent a lot of time in his own mind, which she couldn't really blame him for. She did it herself from time to time...@asi@leafpelt
leafpelt • 11 June 2013 at 1:15 AM
@dada_dragon @asiRight. The grasp of this place...Empathy. Was it even possible with a forest? She was lying on a thick branch of a tree. Her eyes were closed again. Well..so far, she got dirty, sad, desolate, desecrated. So much for that. Loki and his cruelty. Why couldn't he have found another planet? No wait..why couldn't he be a good little god? Yup. Much better.Enough of moping. Enough of emotion for one day. Time to shut it down. Frost started to climb down.
asi • 11 June 2013 at 1:38 AM
"Yeah, I knew you could hear me. If I didn't want you to hear me, I would have been a lot more stealthy. I mean, you have panda-hearing and everything, but I bet you definitely wouldn't be able to hear me if I was trying..." He babbled vaguely as he sidled up to her, eyes fixedly ahead on the view until he dared to steal a sideways glance at Aykay's expression. Ray wondered what she was thinking about, but didn't ask. Instead he kept his attention forwards, looking over at the different slave houses and trying to recall if he'd been to any of them... He couldn't remember if he had. With effort, he tried to conjure up images or names of the slaves he had stayed with... No dice there either, even the most recent eluded him. Ray just couldn't bring himself to care... He gave up.@dada_dragon@bunnyshadow (previous post West!)@leafpelt~
dada_dragon • 11 June 2013 at 2:05 AM
Aykay turned back towards Ray. What was his deal? If he wasn't daydreaming, he was babbling... he was the most difficult to comprehend of all of the people she'd met on the crazy mission or whatever it ws that they were doing..."What is it like to work out in the factories?" She asked suddenly. She wasn't sure why she wanted to know so badly. Then remembering the way Ray had spoken to Ethan... with a strange aristocratic accent... she added, "Or did you grow up elsewhere?"@asi@leafpelt
skylark • 15 June 2013 at 5:49 PM
@dada_dragon @bunnyshadowAaron heard a faint roar. "Aykay! I hope I haven't deserted anyone..." His brain finally started turning gears. "Oh no! I have!" Aaron made a face: D: and started jabbering about how he had broken his trust with his rebel friends so soon after just finding them and how he couldn't believe himself for doing this and how he thought he'd always model Captain America because he believed in honour and trust and how he was afraid of everything and how his flaw of shutting down his brain in dangerous situations and running away had always served him well before he had any friends, but now with friends, he's gotten into a rather bad scrape and they probably need him because chitauri were heartless and tend to deliver some bad scratches. His stomach growled rather loudly, interrupting his rant. "Oops. Excuse me. Anybody else hungry? Iron Man? Camilla?" He grinned toothlessly, before slapping himself and gritting his teeth. "I'm going back to save my friends! .. and maybe get some food, too. But I don't care if you come with me or not!" He set off in the terribly wrong direction, marching with a rather determined face.
bunnyshadow • 15 June 2013 at 9:30 PM
@skylark~~~Camilla stared at Aaron as he spoked, her face a look of pure confusion. As the growling of the boys stomach interrupted his very own words, she tilted her head to the side. Biting her bottom lip nervously, Camilla shook her head, her blonde hair whipping across her face. "No..." she said nervously. "I just... uh....." she trailed off into silence for a couple seconds before continuing. "Ate. I just ate." she repeated.Camilla ran after Aaron, before reaching out to Aaron with her gloved hand. She paused, before quickly switching to her other hand to tug at his arm. "I think we should stay here and wait for your friends." she suggested with a pout."What if we get lost?" she asked. "That means that they'll have to go and find you, and that's going to cause even MORE trouble!" she said, emphazing on the word 'more'.
