She just now noticed how quiet it was. She had probably fallen asleep on accident. She opened an eye for a moment to see only one person, who was talking to himself for whatever reason. She closed her eye and was faced with darkness yet again. The one she had been left with, Aaron, was either sleep-deprived, or nuts. Probably both, since she remembered him acting way too excited before. Somehow, only now, did Pyra realize how nuts they all were. They were all surviving in an age where the world had fallen apart for most, so she could excuse that."So, uh, where is everyone?" She wasn't going to get answers just waiting, and she couldn't wait. It was unsafe, being separate and wanted for destroying a tower. Very unsafe.-Blar.

@meixiaotian @skylark @jupiter_hollow @aizel~~~Camilla stared at her hands, one covered and one not. Her eyes closed as she tried to go back before, way before anything like this had ever happened. If only Loki had decided to take over another planet. If only the Avengers could have stopping him. If only Loki had been taken care of as a child. If only Thor had been able to change him. If only, if only. If only we had a chance. She clenched her fist, her nails digging into the palm of her hand. With a long sigh she looked over her shoulder and into the darkness. Camilla stayed in this position for a long time, even as the fat boy threw a fit and even as the hurt girl awoke."Two of them went off." She said. A short pause ended her statement before she started again."Is there anymore of us? Or are we trying to overthrow the emperor all by ourselves?" Camilla said regretfully.

@bunnyshadow @dada_dragon @meixiaotian Aaron pulled his knees up to his chin and heaved a great big sigh. He watched the two girls that were left with him and wondered about their past. What had they lived through? What did they want to forget? Who did they love and lose? He soon realized that it was useless to try and imagine their past. What use was it to them now? They needed to think about the future, what's going to happen next. He heard Cam's questions and pondered upon them for a bit. "I'unno."

@skylark @dada_dragon @jupiter_hollow @silver_winged~~~"We have to know sooner or later." Camilla said. "Loki-" She coughed. "The emperor- he is smart, clever, an otherworldly genius. We have to be smart about what we do." She rubbed the palm of her gloved hand as she spoke. There was no way they could beat Loki's Rule. He was powerful and strong and had an unlimited amount of alien warriors and terrifying monsters.

Kita balanced a tray of food on her forearm and knocked on the door. Sylvia had not called for food, but it couldn't hurt to offer... Well, it could... Especially if she was in a bad mood. Even through the solid door between them, she could feel Sylvia's confidence. She had every reason to be confident... What was standing between her and crushing the rebellion? A few kids with superpowers... And Loki had already crushed the Avengers, hadn't he? And they were even more powerful... Better trained...It was a depressing thought, but what could she do about it?"Milady? I have your dinner if you would like it." She said timidly. All it would take was some poison... No one would suspect...She shook the thought out of her head. No. That would mean death. She wished she could chase the thoughts from her head, but it never seemed to work for long...@bunnyshadow@asi@meixiaotian@skylark

@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia looked up sharply when she heard a few knocks on the large wooden doors. Standing swiftly, she took large steps towards the entrance before stopping right before the door handles. "Come in." she said."No need to sound so cowardly." Sylvia added with a stout smile. "I'm absolutely famished."
dada_dragon • 2 February 2014 at 1:50 AM
"Yes, miss." Kita said, opening the door. She bowed as best as she could without dropping the tray and set it down on an elegant table with a beautifully carved chair beside it.She did like this at least, being a palace servant. Everything here was so beautiful and she sometimes forgot what went on outside here and what Sylvia and her father were... She often felt guilty about these small indulgences. She hesitated before continuing."The captain's sister has not shown up yet." she said quietly. "Perhaps she truly has abandoned him. She is a rebel, after all. Why would she return to save a loyalist?"She really was curious to know why Sylvia thought this girl was going to show up just because her brother had been arrested. She had been a rebel hunter herself... She had to know it was a trap... So why?@bunnyshadow
meixiaotian • 2 February 2014 at 10:10 PM
Two of them went off? She assumed this strange girl had popped in while she was unconscious, so, supposedly, an uncomfortable amount of people hadn't made an appearance recently. Great. In just... Was it one day only? Well, in a short amount of time, a lot had changed. With everyone off doing who-knows-what, something dangerous, probably, even more would happen, she knew. Well, Pyra didn't want that, but she couldn't really change it, could she?"Not being very smart right now," she commented. It wouldn't end well, but maybe... Maybe it would end okay. Then they could do whatever they intended on doing next. She'd prefer to get some sort of a home base or something. That would be unsafe... At least a temporary base better than this one, if it was one at all.

"Oh, Alexis? Alexi? Alex? Alexandra? Xandra? Frooosty...the Snowman?" Zoe sang, belting her voice so that she could be heard. She grinned as a dagger was chucked at her. Neatly dodging it, she made her way through the forest until she found her victim, eyes still closed and dagger back in hand."Well, well, dear child, it's not nice to throw daggers at people you tolerate?" Her lips curved into a mischievous grin. She turned back a moment to make sure that Jake was following, but then focused back to the girl lying under a tree.""I'm trying...to sleep." Frost muttered, a hint of annoyance slipping in her voice. She opened her eyes to look at that Cheshire Cat grin, then closed them again."Hissy, aren't you? Come on, darling, let's talk." She continued, her voice slipping into a slow drawl. "There is nothing to talk. Your interests clash with my priorities far too much." Frost murmured quietly, turning to the side. Jake walked over to face Frost. He put one finger to his lips, facing Zoe, signaling her to be quiet. He stared at her.Moments passed. The music of night was evident all around. All was quiet. That is, until Jake jumped on top of Frost, flipping her facedown."Mmph!" Frost mumbled indignantly. Her face was buried in the (probably disgusting) ground. Jake bent down and whispered in her ear, almost seductively. "Don't you remember? You loved this. Acting all espionage like, dropping dolls in fancy dresses in the mud. Now yield like a good child, and..." He trailed off as the squished body below him went limp.Zoe's eyes went wide. "Oh shoot. Oh shoot. We're dead."Jake paused and poked the body below. "You...alive?"Zoe knocked the back of Jake's head. "CPR. CPR. And getting off her may help." Her voice rose in panic. Jake began to move off, but in the next moment, he was on top of Zoe. "Wha-?"Frost gave a tiny smirk, wiping her face clean of dirt with her arm. Brushing the dirt off, she quipped, "As gullible as ever...sweetheart. Don't cheat on your dearie, ok?"

He started, clearly not having expected her to outright disbelieve him- or at least say it so bluntly- or at the very least, not NOT challenge him to tell her the truth. Aykay knew he was lying, but didn't mind. It sure was a different attitude to the factory slums, where suspicions so easily ran rampant, and where, in his early days, Ray had almost got knifed in the ribs for asking the overseer for a spoon... And not from the overseer.Ray gave a small smile. "Skeletons? In my closet? Really, I haven't a clue what you're on about, A-tray... I don't have any secrets..."Then, rather childishly, he continued; "... It's the other way around. I'm the skeleton in their oversized, walk-in wardrobe..."His smirk quickly fell along with Aykay's leg support, and he hurried over to aid her, anxious as ever."AH! Okay, okay, just don't push yourself..." Quickly he helped her to her feet, then looked intensely awkward as he tried to work out how to support her. Ray clearly wasn't used to this whole helping others thing, or maybe just generally physical contact with other people. Yes, that, that was rather terrifying almost... Still, it didn't take him long to figure out the basic one arm wrapped around their waist, their uninjured arm draped over his shoulders, and pretending she was a damaged machine made it a whole lot easier for him. "Just tell me where to go," Ray told her, finally sounding a little more at ease.*R* > ~K~The sparkly city slipped past the windows, the horses seeming to glide middair rather than canter along the glowing paved streets of Asgard. They were big and strong, powerful muscles rippling underneath their sleek, silky coats with every synchronized step. They were beautiful, and terrifying, to a small, sickly girl, one who as she braided their manes looked into their eyes and saw the same distain she saw in everyone else's when they met hers.Who wouldn't, seeing the child who barely made a sound save for coughing?Of course, she was older now, and felt nothing, watching their smooth forms pull the carriage onwards, until her gaze slid up towards the palace, then flickered away. Her face betrayed no sign of anxiety, but her fingers toyed restlessly with the skirt of her dress, folding and twisting the fabric in her hands. It was not a coarse or ugly piece. It was, in fact, her worst dress, but it was good enough that it would not have looked out of place at a poorer man's dance. Unfortunately, that wasn't the kind of dance they were attending. This girl's family was not poor, and nor were they highly-ranked. They were, in fact, extremely rich, and thoroughly middle-classed. What this actually meant was that they didn't get on very well with anyone. Those in their own class, of course, weren't good enough. Her family had no need for more money; what they needed to rise in the world was rank. But to those members of the upper class skating on thin ice, whom the girls should ideally marry, considered them usurpers, hated the idea of being forced to marry the lowly by their lack of money, and rather disliked the idea of the wife owning the wealth in the relationship.Rather luckily for them, the daughters had been born with more than just money to their advantage. The most beautiful of them was easily the oldest, North, with pale skin, flaming red hair and soothing eyes of aquamarine. She was the kind of personality which simply expected to get her way, a girl who breezed through life, and hence felt little need to take stock of the things- or people- around her. She was confident, and she was ruthless. North seemed to barely even remember her youngest sister's existence; clothes being one of the few things she did notice explained her rare discomposure just prior.East, sitting just to Kitty's left, was an entirely different figure. Though her exterior lacked much in comparison to the eldest, the inside of her head solely made up for that. Very much an intellectual, East could bore (or fascinate, if you had a different disposition to our Kitty) others for hours on topics ranging from politics and history to science and the different cultures of each realm. In other ways, she could be just as cold as North, unsettling in her detached, apathetic and impersonal outlook. Blonde hair and ice blue eyes only worked to strengthen this impression. Like the redhead, she also held little interest in the Aesir (*read: human) aspect of things, but where North was an extrovert who reigned the rest in, East was more of an introvert, and preferred to seek out (to the relief of others) people who, like herself, seemed to be more book than anything else. If she was speaking her mind, which was rare, Kitty would say it was East she liked least- and judging by the looks sent her way, the feeling was mutual. To Kitty's right, the third daughter, unpredictably, was South; auburn haired, almost lilac-eyed. On first glance, she may seem to some like middling ground between her two older sisters, with a pretty face and clear, intelligent eyes- but this was deceptive, as South was very unlike her sisters in terms of personality. She was fun, sunny, generous, considerate, polite and respectful, and...She was, undeniably, nice. Everyone loved South. But Kitty wasn't everyone, and she didn't really like her all that much more than she did East, for similar reasons. While Kitty had nothing against intelligence or kindness generally, East and South had, in her opinion, much too much of them.As South seemed to feel Kitty's eyes on her and turned to present a curious smile, it was with a strong sense of inconvenience that the youngest redirected her stare to a more neutral ground- one that wouldn't force any awkward conversations about very little. After ten or so more minutes of staring at her knees, Kitty felt a change in the paving stones below. She watched with something that resembled dread in her stomach, but was more likely the half-digested remains of her dinner (spaghetti), as the carriage rolled up outside the palace. Because really, how would a non-tangible thing like dread get down there anyway.

Aykay pointed to the next street over and began to walk unsteadily forward. The pain was overwhelming now, though she tried as best she could to hide that fact from Ray. She decided to think about something else. She remembered Ethan telling her to focus on the pressure of him squeezing her hand whenever she had to get injected when they were young. Given the way Ray was supporting her though, it would be impossible to try this trick, and even if it were possible, she wouldn't have asked. It was such a childish thing...So instead, she focused on the pressure of his hand on her waist, supporting her weight. In doing so, she noticed a few things.Firstly, she noticed how uncomfortable she was letting someone help her. She had always been a little stubborn and arrogant, walking off a lot of injuries she shouldn't have. Maybe it was her training, but maybe she had just been so desperate to prove that she wasn't just strong as a tiger... And she was beginning to realize that even her tiger form wasn't as strong as she'd thought...Secondly, as skinny as Ray was, he was stronger than he looked. Maybe it was all the weight she'd lost from being in prison and then running from the chitauri. But she suspected it was actually from work in the factories. While she didn't believe that he wasn't once an elite loyalist (or was at least was raised that way), there was no denying that he had worked in the factories. Those rich kids wouldn't know hard work if it bit them in the foot...And lastly, she thought that had circumstances been different, she might have enjoyed a walk at night with a guy (not necessarily Ray)... or at the very least, something normal... For once, she envied the aristocratic upper class... They were jaded and oblivious to a shameful degree, but at least they lived quasi-normal lives."It's just up ahead here. It's a larger building... the area's medical building..." she said, bringing herself back to reality. She was forcing herself to stay conscious at this point... “Listen Ray... This doctor, she’s a loyalist. She was one of the informants for the hunters... Rebels tend to get hurt, so a medical building was a pretty good strategic move... Whatever you do, make her think you are one too. And not some high-and-mighty aristocrat. I’m talking military, got it?”@asi

@dada_dragon I put off homework and a well-needed rest for this...X3Frost stood up, and brushed some of the soil of herself. Not that it helped, since she was dirty all over already, from the river to the battle, to the mush-pot of people. Hm. At least she got some on Jake and Zoe. Sitting down, legs crossed, she prompted, "So...since you were so kind to interrupt what little sleep I already have, how may I help you?"Zoe dropped into a blank, serious expression; one that seemed to clash with her usual antics and attitude. She gently grabbed one of Frost's hands and fingered with it absently. "Well, let's exchange lives. As in, you know, talking about what happened over the last....wow...ten? Years of our lives?" She paused for a moment. Her face stretched to one of nearly grotesque shock. "I'm freaking OLD. This is so depressing...ugh." Frost merely rolled her eyes and looked at Jake."How...do you tolerate her?" Jake shrugged, "She's so sensitive and sweet. I doubt there's another girl that's so perfect. She's a fixer upper, that's all. Aren't we all?"Frost took back her hand from Zoe, who was still muttering about old age, and murmured with a deadpan, "Honestly....no. You two are fixer uppers. I am a mentally deranged sociopathic psychopath trumping the markets around the world. A mercenary, of sorts." She was silent for a moment as she contemplated on whether she should talk about the past. The guilt was overwhelming her. Had been overwhelming her, and only got worse in the past few nights. Honestly, if she were to trust anyone in this world, put a piece of her soul in someone's hands...it would be these two. Despite their goofy, carefree, trouble-attracting exterior....if memory didn't fail her now, these two were a flaming team. Everything was pretty blurry to Frost...but..~~~"You go solo? You fail. We WIN!" A seven year old Zoe jumped up and down as a four-year old Frost slumped down on the ground exhausted. Jake gently chastised, "That's not nice, Zoe. Don't be so-OW!" He flopped over on the ground as Zoe jammed her leg into Jake's stomach."You're supposed to celebrate! We beat Katie!""...who's four." Jake gestured towards Frost, who was starting to stand up. She sat up and stared for a minute.Jake turned back to Zoe. "Besides, we have to keep quiet. Our parents said to keep this hush-hush, or we'll be caught and captured. And turned into...min-mini-minio-" he was interrupted by a rueful voice."It's minion," Frost stared back at Jake, icy blue eyes glittering with a powerful storm ready to be unleashed. "And you two are MY minions." She threw herself onto Jake, brandishing a knife, making him crash onto Zoe. Zoe merely grinned with excitement and flipped out...a scarf."I found this near the really rich people's place the other day," she chattered excitedly, rubbing her face into the material. "It's nice. And good for choking!" She wrapped it about Frost's neck and slowly tightening it. "Surrender now.""No. Never!" Frost giggled slightly as she kicked at Zoe, only to have her feet grabbed by Jake. "We win."~~~~~Yeah. They were....interesting. Even when they were young. Sometimes, it was a wonder that they were not discovered at all and put into servitude. Mind made up, she murmured quietly, "So here's what happened..."

Ethan lay on the mattress in the corner of his cell. It was a lot more comfortable than he had expected, though it reeked of heavy wood smoke and sweat… In an ordinary prison these days, they would have gone out of their way to make you uncomfortable, but Ethan was beginning to realize with an uncomfortable sinking feeling that prisoners kept in the palace weren't usually in their cell long enough to enjoy their stay...He wondered if his parents had been informed yet of what had happened... It was possible, but he hoped not. He didn't think his mother could take more bad news...

@dada_dragon This post has got to be the greatest thing I have ever written. o-o~~~Sylvia chuckled, her silent steps taking her towards the fancy table. With grace, she sat down on the chair. Her form was tiny, either that or the chair was large. Either way, the throne was much to big for her. But her aura, her arrogant attitude and the way she held herself made Sylvia seem much more important than she really was.She picked up a knife and fork and slowly cut her meal, as she listened to Kita speak. Emerald eyes stared into Kita's. The demi-god ate fairly slowly, her green orbs twinkling with amusement. Soon enough, the used fork was placed at the edge of the plate, making a sharp clink that echoed throughout the room."Darling..." Sylvia said. The girl sat back, her hands entwining in front of her chest. "You simply, don't understand! Allow me to explain." Her hair swept over her eyes as she stood, and as she pulled her midnight locks behind her ear, a smile was palpable on her pale countenance."Aykay and Ethan are blood related. A closely connected pair. Siblings. Sure, they have their differences, but a human follows the heart, instead of the brain." She stepped over to Kita and poked the servant at where her heart lay."And that is the largest flaw of a human being. Instead of doing what they think is right, they follow a small organ that exists for none other than to pump blood." A short pause. "The only thing a heart does, is lie to you. They tell us we should have what we want but also fail to warn us of consequences of that path. They show us a distorted view of reality and blind us to the truth. They are wicked, and I... I understand that. I know that I can not trust my heart. And so does my father. Perhaps that is the reason that we are still in power today."Sylvia paced in front of Kita. "It doesn't know what's best. It only knows how to feel. And feeling, emotion... It is of no use." She laughed, and shook her head. "Who needs emotion?" The girl opened her hand and a small flame burst forth, floating mere millimeters from her light skin. "Who needs emotion, when you can rely on intelligence and power?""The heart is your greatest strength, but also your greatest weakness." Sylvia closed her hand into a fist, and the fire went out without so much as a small hiss.#Greatness

Kita listened to Sylvia, secretly wondering asking herself when she had become confident enough to speak to the princess about anything other than her duties...She thought over the princess' words. Kita knew a lot about emotion... Her powers had allowed her since she was young to feel the emotions of others... Humans were indeed a species governed by their feelings... She knew that better than anyone...Perhaps she could make herself more useful than she was as a common maid... To gain a little freedom... It was risky, but perhaps..."Miss, if humans are governed by their emotions as you say... Then perhaps I might be of some use to you..." She took a deep breath, hoping it wouldn't be one of her last... "I'm empathic, princess..."@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 21 February 2014 at 1:34 AM
@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia tilted her head to the side, and her grin widened. "Perhaps." She said. The demi-god had known for a long time that Kita was not normal, as secrets were not easily held behind the palace gates. But she never would have known that the maid was emphatic."Please, do explain further. I am curious as to the extent of this power you have."
dada_dragon • 21 February 2014 at 2:36 AM
"I- I can sense emotions..." she said quietly. "Usually only when I am nearby, but I can sense stronger emotions from farther away..."She could sense Sylvia's curiosity, but sensed shockingly little surprise... Perhaps she knew all this time..."Some people are easier to read than others and the more emotions there are, the more difficult it is to distinguish them..." she continued. "It isn't a very impressive power, but it's helped keep me alive so far."@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 22 February 2014 at 2:16 AM
@dada_dragon~~~"I see..." Sylvia trailed off, deep in thought. Kita could be of so much use. She could be so much better then she is right now. The servant had so much potential. However, she showed no outer emotion, her face entirely blank."I want to know." She said suddenly. "Can you sense what I feel? What my father feels? What Chitauri feel? Or is your power limited to humans?"

Loki walked slowly down a street, his dark emerald green cloak in stark contrast to the grey, dreary surroundings. He did not have his iconic headgear on but his gold accessories glinted in the moonlight. His heads were clasped behind his back, and he was staring at the street ahead of him. Loki wasn't nescessarily thinking in terms of human's explanation of "thinking", but he was indeed imagining. Of what? Well, not even Loki himself knew exactly. ~*~Aaron jumped up and addressed everyone in his sight. "Okay, I'm sick of sitting around doing nothing, freaking out about something bad that could happen because we were too lazy to prevent anything bad happening to us! Let's find an ACTUAL camp or headquarters, somewhere so ingenious that not even Loki or his daughter would've thought of it. Like, right beside their mansion. Ok, little too risky but you know what I mean, right?! Come on, there must be a million places Loki wouldn't look. Or the Chitauri. Or crazy robot man. Or Sylvia. Or anyone else who works for them. Right. ... any ideas..?"He looked at everyone around him. @bunnyshadow@meixiaotian
dada_dragon • 23 February 2014 at 9:28 PM
"Well... You and the emperor, yes..." She said, embarrassed to admit this. Even now, she looked as though she couldn't care less, but she could sense interest... "The chitauri are different... I can sense something from them, but their emotions are different, so I cannot interpret them in the same way."She didn't mention that she had encountered some chitauri who, although for the most part displayed foreign chitauri emotions, also had developed some vaguely human feelings that had likely come about from being around them all the time... It seemed like irrelevant information... At least for now..."One more thing..." She mumbled. "I can only sense the emotions themselves. I can't sense the reason for them. I can sometimes guess based on the context, but this is not always accurate... So if I sense that someone is feeling... Interest... I can't tell what it is they're interested in..."@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 27 February 2014 at 12:13 AM
@skylark~~~Camilla stared at Aaron with a look of pure disbelief. "I think we should wait here for the others." She said. Her eyes flashed in the pale light."Safety in numbers." The blonde whispered, albeit a bit regretfully.***@dada_dragon"Yes." Sylvia said. A simple three letter word. "Because you can sense my emotions, and father's emotions..." She trailed off. "There's so many options!" The girl said, her thoughts racing. Kita could be of so much use, in so many different ways. Her smile turned into a frown when a sudden thought went through her mind. If anyone not in favor of the Emperor, or any outsider managed to get a hold of her.... The frown lasted only a split second, but it was there.Suddenly her eyes flashed in distrust. She could sense, no- not sense. She could see that there was something the servant wasn't telling her. "Yes, yes." Sylvia repeated. "Chitauri are not supposed to feel. They are creatures that exist for nothing other than to serve and destroy." The subject was quickly changed. "There is something you aren't telling me."She wasted no time before continuing. "Kita...." Sylvia muttered. "You could be so much more....." She reiterated her earlier words. "You're powerful." The half goddess whispered. "You were born with a power, and I advise you use it wisely."
dada_dragon • 27 February 2014 at 1:38 AM
"Well... I didn't think it was important... But there are chitauri... Those who work with loyal human military groups like the rebel hunters... Who have developed a sort of primitive form of human emotion... Not to the same level as a human, but enough that I can understand..."Sylvia's words about using her powers wisely... Kita knew this was a warning. She could not afford to cause Sylvia to doubt her. She had to stay on her good side. She couldn't give Sylvia any reason to doubt her loyalty. And speaking of loyalty..."The captain... He was filled with intense guilt and regret when his crimes were mentioned... But any time his sister was mentioned... He felt deep worry... I believe... Though I could be wrong... That he will always be loyal to the emperor... But he will also do anything to protect her..."She wondered which was stronger... His love of his sister or his loyalty to his king? Even Kita could not tell...@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 27 February 2014 at 1:51 AM
@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia pursed her lips. That could be a slight problem, but not overly so. "That can't be good." She said. "Unfortunately, if the Chitauri begin feeling stronger emotions like love, they'll have to be... Destroyed."Kita was loyal, as far as Sylvia could tell. The servant had told Sylvia most all her secrets and hadn't lied. Yet. It was then that the demi-god decided to place her trust on Kita, however little it was.It was still trust."Right." Sylvia said. "The captain needs to be dealt with somehow, but now is not the time. For now, he is simple bait for his sibling." Her attitude changed immediately. She strode over to her chair before sitting down on it, her legs cross and arms laying on the arm rests. The demi-god raised a hand slightly and waved Kita over to the fancy chair across from her."I must ask you a question, but you must answer honestly. And by honestly, I mean you can not keep anything from me."A short pause, as her eyes glittered with curiosity."Tell me about my father."
dada_dragon • 27 February 2014 at 2:24 AM
Kita took a deep breath and sat down. Her words could mean life or death... So she had to tell Sylvia her honest opinion..."I am grateful that I was brought to work in the palace. I could have ended up in plenty of worse places. I was given great opportunity. However..." She swallowed heavily. Here was the dangerous part. "I cannot bring myself to like or trust a person who has taken my family and my freedom from me. But as much as rebellion is rising, it will not last... I want to stay alive, so I won't risk my sliver of a chance at survival on a rebellion doomed to fail."She ran her fingers along the sides of the chair. She had never been allowed to indulge in something so simple as sitting to talk... She felt like she should be cleaning something... Or making a meal...She felt uneasy about how she so casually spoke of 'dealing with' the captain... What was she planning to do with him?"If you don't mind me asking..." She said quietly. "Why go to the trouble of trying to lure in a single rebel? From what I have seen, she isn't nearly as big of a threat as compared to some others in the group... Especially now that they have freed Stark..."@bunnyshadow
bunnyshadow • 27 February 2014 at 11:59 PM
@dada_dragon~~~"I'm glad you are telling me the truth." She smiled. "Unfortunately, that isn't the answer I was looking for." Her forefinger tapped lightly on the arm rest. "I want to know how my father feels. His emotions about this planet, how it changes when other people are around and most of all, how he feels when I'm around." I have to know, Sylvia thought to herself. She had no idea why she wanted to know so badly, but she would be a liar if she could convince herself she didn't need the information. Her lips were pursed as she struggled to find an answer to Kita's question."It's not for you to know." Sylvia said instead of admitting that she didn't know the answer.

"Oh... Um... Sorry..." Kita stammered, trying to think of her encounters with Loki. "Well, I don't really know how he feels about Earth itself, since I can't really know when he's thinking about it... But around humans in general, he tends to be pretty confident and arrogant and I'm pretty sure there's something like disgust mixed in there too. Around the various military groups, there's a little pride mixed in... I mean it must feel nice to have an entire world's worth of military might on your side..."Nice for him anyway... Misery for the human race..."He frequently gets frustrated during meetings, but that's got to be the rise of rebel activity doing that... And he's paranoid a lot of the time... But that's not a bad thing sometimes..."Why did Sylvia care? Was she trying to get her father'a approval? It suddenly occurred to Kita how young Sylvia was... She probably didn't get much attention from Loki because of his duties as emperor..."Around you, he... His feelings remind me a lot of how it was with my dad... He's worried for you... He's proud of you... And... You mean the world to him..."Kita tried to hide the tear that was threatening to drip down her face. She hated being around Loki and Sylvia at the same time. He reminded her too much of her dad, which made it more difficult to dislike him.@bunnyshadow

@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia pressed her lips together. She had been right about how Loki felt about humans and the militay. But as for the meetings, she was proven wrong. Her father had always managed to keep a cool outer appearance. As for the paranoia, it was to be expected. The demi-god leaned forward as Kita began to continue. Her decision had been made long before the servant had even finished speaking."How would you feel to being my.." She struggled to find the correct word. "My personal servant." Sylvia snapped her fingers. "You'll receive much better housing, delicious food and much more beautiful clothes than those.""In addition, you'll have much more freedom. Even more, if you ever need anything, just ask."

Kita nodded. If there was anything she had learned, it was that if you were given an advantage, you took it."Of course, milady." she said. "If that is what you want."She did feel guilty of course... She hated to indulge like this, but...@bunnyshadow

@dada_dragon~~~Sylvia smiled. "Very well! Come with me. I shall show you to your new room. No longer will you have o stay in the servant quarters."She stood and motioned Kita to follow. Sylvia headed towards the door and a second before she arrived, it opened. The cause: Magic. In the hallway, the chitauri stepped towards her, ready to flank them in whichever direction they were going to go.

Kita followed Sylvia. She looked at the chitauri guarding them. One of them gave of the usual unfamiliar chitauri emotions... the other chitauri was... what seemed to be nervous... This was pretty common of emotive chitauri in the palace... It must be a pretty nerve-wracking job tending to the emperor and his daughter.Kita was pretty nervous herself. She wasn't used to this kind of treatment... She was used to getting yelled at and ordered about, but this was borderline polite..."Thank you for this, princess." she said quietly. "I know I said that I could never forgive your father for the things I've had to suffer, but... There's something different about you... I think you could be a great empress one day... And I think that I could follow a leader like you."And she really meant that.@bunnyshadow
