Sylvia isn't near the camp, we went back. Bunnyshadow will have to post that Sylvia went there.

Since it seems that nobody has listened to me, I'll re-state it: anything regarding Sylvia, Jade, Lauri, or Melody in between my post about Melody discovering Lauri and Jade up to my other post never happened. This means anything in between post #22 on page 31 and post #19 on page 32.

A short summary of what just happened:

Melody just discovered Lauri and Jade's camp and sunk back into the grass. Because Bunnyshadow's post was after that, Sylvia did not find or approach Melody yet. She also did not discover Lauri and Trish and is not in the grass near them. Lauri and Trish did not discover Melody in the grass, talk to her, or offer anything to her. Anything that has to do with these things [for example, if Lauri were to find Sylvia], even if it occurred later, also never happened. Anything unrelated, however, like Lauri getting bitten by an earwig, is fine and may stay.

Lauri and Trish are in their camp by the lake, and Melody is nearby. Sylvia is not near the camp.

I hear a noise coming from the grass near our camp. "Maybe there is another flock of groosling," I suggest, drawing my sword and limping out of the tent. The pincher bugs have dispersed, so it seems okay to walk out. I tread over to the grass and keep an eye out for any cute little animals I can KILL.

Jade was sharpening her knife against a rock.
Without looking up, Jade asked, "Lauri, when do you think the first artificial disaster is gonna happen?"

She was already dabbling at knives. But she only had one.
"I want to go back to the Cornucopia. No one's there right? We can have as many supplies as we want."

Melody ~ 11

Lauri must have heard me, because she walks out of the tent, wielding her sword, and comes toward me. Does she know I'm here? I start to panic, taking the knife from my pack as a precaution. Hopefully I can go around the lake with the grass obscuring me. However, one of them is likely to spot me, and there will be other tributes and predators by this source of water. I begin to tread across the grass, careful to be as silent as I can.

[Any supplies not taken by the end of the first day in the arena will disappear from the Cornucopia. 😉 This means that people who haven't yet posted will have a chance to get things. However, if you character already left the bloodbath, keep in mind that if you have a lot of items I'll send something to take some of them away for roleplay purposes. ^^]

I walk outside of the tent, searching for a pack of groosling I thought I heard. I hear a tiny rustle in the leaves. The wind wasn't blowing at the time, and a groosling wouldn't be smart enough to stop, when they heard me, they would rather fly away. That means it's... A RABBIT! "More food!" I think, and charge for it, with my stomach grumbling!

Melody ~ 11

The small girl runs toward me, and I am in danger of being spotted. Lauri mentioned something about groosling earlier, which I found slightly confusing. If she thinks I am food, perhaps I can use that to my advantage. Although, for some reason, she appears to be open about her location, charging through the grass. I continue to dash around the lake. A bird crosses my path, which I recognize as a groosling. I pick it up and it lets out a squawk, pecking wildly at my fingers. I throw it into the air in the opposite direction I will be going in, and run though the grass in hopes the groosling will prevent her from pursuing me any longer.

A groosling seems to be flying sideways, then it turns upside down, landing in the ground, with it's head burried inside. "Wow!" I think, "That rabbit threw the groosling!" I think. I kick the groosling aside. Besides, I could get it later and I already have a bunch. I charge for the woods, preparing to see a huge fat rabbit in the grass. "Here I come!" I shout with a smile on my face. Then I cover my mouth. I shouldn't shout. It could scare other game away.

I stumble across some grass that looked light it had been hopped on, by a very large foot. Suddenly I tripped on a very large object. I obediently draw my sword out of it's sheath, and face my prey. /IT WASN'T A RABBIT/ I though, with a very sad expression on my face, /IT'S A STUPID HUMAN, AND I CAN'T EVEN EAT THEM, AND THEY PUT UP A FIGHT!/

I must have had a mental blank, 'cause I had no clue what the events were previously, what had happened, nor why I was there. Dimly, I was aware of stumbling around and something to do with Hunger, but that was all I could think of. My head had been throbbing for the last who-knows-how-many days, and I rested onto a tree. Little did I know, I was an easy target.

So since Lauri tried to like, run after this thing, I considered packing her stuff and leaving.
Then again, we're still on our first day, and well, I should be saving my 'strength'. So time to retire again.
