I wake up and yawn. "Good morning!" I say to the Avox girl. She smiles and helps me out of bed. I stretch out a little. I pull he muscle in my leg. "Crap." I say. The Avox puts my arm around her shoulder and helps me to the breakfast table. I thank her quietly by handing her a cup of hot chocolate. I eat my breakfast and the Avox girl comes back to help me to my room. "Um what happened dear?" My trainer Lilah asks. "Oh just pulled a small muscle thats. The Avox is trying to let it heal for the games by helping me." I say. "Ah! Avox! When you come back have yourself a good breakfast, we wont tell anyone." Lilah says. The Avox smiles. She helps me to my room and hugs me. I know its because she gets a good meal. She leaves and I dress in a tee and jeans. I walk down to my stylists room and there await Lily, Ryan, Kiara, and Sean. Sean sighs when he sees what happened to my leg. "It will make me look weak." I shrug. "I can work with that." He smiles. I undress, get a bath, a facial, manicure black nail paint. And same on my toes. He puts on a jacket for me and walks me to a room. "So how was this morning?" He asks me.

Venta, District 12, Reaping

"Come on!"My little brother, tugs the end of my Red and Black reaping dress. He's only 6 and doesn't understand what this is all about. "We're gunnn be late!"
"I promise that won't happen." My voice doesn't sound like my own, soft, and kind. Slowly we approach the stage, people with strange features guard a man wearing a golden suit, golden eyeliner, and golden shoes. Even his hair is gold! "Stay near Dad." I order Marco, while I enter the section for 16 year old girls.
"Welcome to the reaping for the 73rd Hunger Games!" The capitol man's singsong accent rang across the square. A broad smile stretched across my face as he plunged his hand into the ball. His fingers wrapped around the small piece of paper.He strode towards the microphone in two steps, carefully unwrapping the paper. "Venta Addy!"
"Dang. Gotta think of some way to make me stand out." I muttered as my feet landed heavily on each step. I took my place next to the golden capitol man.
"Hi there! My name is Glen Fishmark! How are you?" I eyed him suspiciously, waiting for the right moment.
3...2...1.... POW! I socked him right in the nose! Blood gushed all over his suit and the stage as the guards pulled me away. Glen stood slowly, and then turned to me.
"Oww!" His tone is the way you might say "Well durh!" I simply smirked in reply. I'd most likely pay for it later, but anything to get into the carer pack.

Melody ~ District 11
Going to Capitol

I sit in the plush, soft seats of a car, something I've never done before. It's a metallic silver on the outside. The station is filled with reporters, all pointing their cameras toward me. The tribute from District 11.

The train is fancy and full of luxuries. I walk into my room, take a shower, and dress in a yellow shirt and dark pants. I take Lara's heart-shaped locket from my dress, and put it on.

I shuffle into the dining room. Sara is there, but my mentor isn't. The food is delicious. Thick, warm soup, soft mashed potatoes topped with gravy, followed by rich chocolate cake. By the time I'm done, my stomach is aching, not being used to this kind of food.

Then, we go to watch the other reapings. I'm suddenly furious at the Capitol for doing this to us. I turn away, and stare out the window of the train. The white layer of clouds that had covered the sky this morning were now dark. I walk into my bedroom once it's over, and dress in a nightgown. The bed is soft and warm, unlike the ones back at home. The sound of rain is calming, and eventually I fall asleep.

I went into the Reaping goodbye room and said goodbye to my friends. The candlers hang above everybody's head glimmering above. I looked up at the candlers and started weeping. My friend, Harmony, sat down on the velvet sofa, with me and tried to comfort me, although, I was secretly just fine.

Venta, District 12, Saying Goodbye

I sat in a soft maroon colored chair in the justice building. A capitol guard close by, obviously they don't trust me after my little stunt with Glen's face.
Eventually Marco and my Father came in. Marco is oblivious to what is going on, but my Dad's face remains emotionless. We sit in silence until the guard tells us that there are other people waiting. My Father and Marco exit, and to my surprise in walked Ferris!
Ferris Sulley, the most popular guy in school. Why was he here?!
"Hey Venta." He pushed some of his naturally blue-black hair away from his face. Even though he had knocked both of his front teeth out in 6th grade, Ferris was really good looking. Surprisingly the only effect it had on his speech was the fact that he said sum-fing, instead of something.
"Um...hey."I managed to croak out. "So, what brings you here?"
"I just wanted to say, be careful. I don't want to loose my girl." Before I could respond, the guard told us it was time to go. I stood and headed for the door. But Ferris grabbed my arm, then took me in his arms and kissed me!
We barley talked, and now he was kissing me!? Sometimes I wonder about that boy.
"Don't die." He whispered in my ear just a I was escorted out of the room. Ferris smiled his funky smile as the wooden doors slammed shut.

Yawning,I climb out of bed and stretch.Starting with my neck,I work my way down to my feet,slowly and gracefully.After an energizing shower I head down to the dining hall,scooting next to my mentor,Peri,whose real name is Peridot after the birthstone.She smiles sweetly."Mornin' Sar.Hope you stretched.Did you?And by the way.."Here she pauses ominously."MEET.DISTRICT.FOUR."Her eyes flash menacingly,daring me to object.I gulp and choke out,"Yes ma'm!"Relaxing,Peri purrs,"Good,dear.Eat healthy now."

Jade/District 4/Train-mentor/

Jade entered the dining hall for a 1-on-1 conversation with her mentor, and have lunch with him/her. Brushing a strand of bleached blonde hair behind her ear, she stepped in. There stood a handsome young man. Messy Bronze hair. Sea-green eyes. Yes. He is! "Emmett." Jade gaped. "Why hello, Jade. I'm your mentor." Emmett grinned his perfect, crooked smile. "Here, have a seat and let's talk." He gestured to the seat infront of him which Jade sat down in a few seconds later.

I wake up and eat breakfast. I greet my mentor, Garrett, and start feasting on delicious Capitol food. Garrett's skin is tan, like mine, and his hair is dark. He tries his best to keep in a good mood, but I can tell he's a little grouchy. Must be because of the Games.

I think about what my strategy might be. I'm fit, but not that strong. I'm fast. I can use a few weapons. But I'm nothing compared to some of the tributes.

Makeover~

(This is gonna be awkward for me....)

"The Prep Team is waiting for you. Don't worry, nothing too drastic." Emmett smiled. Jade couldn't help but smile too. Emmett was like, the BEST victor that ever won in District 4 in her opinion. Alive maybe, Finnick was awesome. And dead. (Assuming after the books..?) Emmett gestured to step in and held the door open. "I've arranged a 'less-complicated' team for you." Emmett smiled and left. Inside were her prep team. 3 Woman. /Thank god no guys/ Jade relaxed because she was nervous about it. All three were beautiful and slightly alternated. One of them spoke up, "Hello Jade. I'm Felicia. And this is Ashley and Vera." Gesturing to the others. Felicia was a black-haired lady with shimmering green eyes, only alternation was her tattoos, one small one o her cheek and a big one lining her right arm; Ashley was a fair-haired blonde, obviously, with lavender eyes which were either the alternation or contacts, didn't look like contacts, but her curves were very noticeable and not very common for normal people; Vera was well, another black-haired lady with very long hair to her waist, and Jade could see all the highlights, A LOT of highlights, and her eyes had a lot of swag to them, very chick.

I whisper something into Sean's ear. "Oh my gosh. That is perfect." He exclaims. "I'm going to work on it right now!" About an hour later he comes back with a bow and some arrows. I walk out and stroke my hores maines.

I finish breakfast as the train begins to slow. I glance out the window, and see the gleaming Capitol. Something I'd never thought I'd see in person. It was much more bright, much more colorful that I had imagined. People point and stare in excitement as the train rolls in, which angers me. But I wear a fake smile, and manage a weak wave. I had to make a good first impression.

As I step out of the train, another tribute runs up to me. District two. Her hair is brown, and she's only 12. I shake her hand with a smile. "I'm Melody," I say. The girl seems friendly, though I'm not completely sure if I can trust her, considering she's a career.
