Bird factoid ❤️

Today I saw a dove in the tree by my front door. I was like 2 feet away form him, and he didn't see me in the house. He was building a nest.Hopped on to a branch and picked up a dead piece in his beak and jumped back and put it down. Then he came back for more dead part of the tree, and jumped back to the"nest". Pretty neat
huh?

@byfelisa the other day two cockatoos landed on my balcony and started snuggling, it was so adorable❤️

I also have a giant tree that has these flowers that lots of rainbow lorikeets like to drink nectar from, its amazing to watch😃

Whoa! I would love to see cockatoos here. That had to be totally cute and so lovely to witness them snuggling in the moment. Ahhh, that sounds so dreamy! I can only imagine it is a sight to see the lorikeets. Do you know the name of the tree?

I usually only get to see different species of birds native here flying to and fro their nests to feed their hatchlings or looking for food. You can go to the top of Mt. Greylock and the view is out of this world -- breathtaking to say the least. There is where the best bird watching is possible and so worth it. 😃 😊

The sparrows, seagulls, ducks and crows are everywhere; especially at the lakes. I get to feed them in the summer months.

@byfelisa i love feeding birds its so much fun😊 sometimes i go down to this little lake and feed the ducks😃 i'm not sure about the tree it has fluffy pink flowers and large gum nuts on it
