Mother's Day Poetry

Straining muscles of a father
Hardships of a brother
Sobs of a daughter
Silent struggle of a mother

Shouting and screaming
The crushed glass scattered on the floor
And a deft sweep of the broom
As the mother cleans up without a sound

Pain passing through their hearts
And jolts of fear wavering their legs
But they keep stumbling foward
As the mother pushes, pleads, begs

Smiling, twinkling eyes
Happiness etched on their stretched faces
A thoughtful figure stands in the background
Watching the growing family go places

Silent, supportive woman,
What will they do without you?
When you go to rest and sleep peacefully
Is when the family will crumble, and break too

ALSO - I just wanted to say I didn't feed the 12 coves for the past 2 days (the 17th, and 18th) because for the past 2 weeks my lap top charger had broke and I was usuing my grandmas. But I wasn't able to get on for 2 days and that's why I wasn't able to feed them. ☹️ I hope you can understand and I hope I can still be in the contest for it as now my charger came in the mail today & i'm able to feed al 12 coves for the rest of the contest! 😊

I'm feeding the 12 coves now and will again at 4:00 AM. 😸

ALSO - Will everyone give a big welcome to my 2 newest flock members.... Dancing-Dead & Moonlight! 😊 I got them the 16th. Dancing-Dead is a female eeriek egg that I plan on freezing in 1st & Moonlight is a male Gideh that's an adult. 😸

If anyone has a female Wiset or Gideh, let me know! I'll trade a good amount for them. They don't have to be female as I can genderswap. 😊
