Lily and Allie walked back up to Gryffindoor. Lily sat in her faivourite armchair with a mug of hot chocolate in one hand and a jar of sweets in the other. Whisper curled up on her lap with Allie sitting beside her. Lily sipped her drink and thought about today. As if on cue, Will stalked into the common room. His eyes narrowed when he noticed Lily and his posture stiffened. Feeling hurt, Lily stood up and walked up the Girls stairs to the doormataries. She colapsed in sobs on her bed leaving Allie downstairs with Will.

Allie had just gotten Lily feeling better with a nice big cup of hot chocolate and sweets, when the angry boy from earlier walked to the common room. He sent Lily a menacing glare. If looks were able to kill, both Allie and Lily would have died on the spot. But as it was, neither of them died, the glare just made Lily to flee up to the bedroom. Allie glared back at Will.

''And here we have a huge moron. A massive one, if I dare say. What do you think you are doing? Hurting Lily like that for absolutely NO reason?! You could think a little, could you? And go read that announcement about the Halloween party!!''

Allie said to Will, raising her voice at the end and not giving him any chance to answer.

''Oh, and for your information, I hate you for this. You have hurt my friend and it will take a LOT for me to forgive you. Even if Lily does forgive, I will remember this.''

She said lastly and then retreated upstairs, not wanting to look at his face for a moment longer.

Lily was still sobbing on her bed when she heard someone enter the dormatery. She looked up, tears streaming down her face and her curly hair out of place. It was Allie. "I heard someone shouting. What happened?" Lily hiccouped studying Allies scowl.

Allie answered to Lily, sitting down onto her bed. She rubbed her eyes, tired.

''I also told him to study the announcement about the party. Hopefully he will realise what a complete jerk he has been...''

For a while Allie sat in silence.

''Oh, but I don't have a partner... I need to find one because I really want to participate the party...'' She then wondered aloud.

"Oh. I know someone you can go with." said Lily still hicouping. "There's a friend of Kyle's called Micheal Turner. He's bretty good-looking and smart. Perfect for ya."

Lily rubbed her eyes and said to Allie "We'd best get to sleep if we don't want to get detention first time tomorrow morning."

Allie nodded and Lily got dressed and went to sleep...

(Although Lily didn't know this, she was thrashing around in her bed the whole night).

Lily woke up many times that night. Various nightmares came but all of them where about the same mysterious female.

Rolling over the clock read: 3:52 AM.
'Uggghhhhhhh, wwhhyyyy' she thought to herself in protest. 'The Halloween party is coming up... candy just great. I hate mouth rotting sugar on a haunted day.'

Ami: Her mind went through a hundred ideas at a gazillion miles per hour.
"I'll be back in a sec."
She hopped out the common room, and dashed to the Gryffindor common room. There were three boys that Ami knew that were pretty nice, and sorta good-looking. Maybe they could go...? Luckily she just bumped into them while she was pondering the password.
"Hey Ami! What're you doing here?"
"Hey Josh, Dan, Phoenix! It's so good you're here! Just wondering if you'd like to go to the Halloween Party with me, Sarah and Tiff?" she said excitedly.
They muttered a bit. Josh shrugged.
"Sure. See you tomoz."
Ami punched the air on the way back. She couldn't wait to break the news to Tiff and Sarah.

Allie went to bed as Lily had suggested. She thought about Michael Turner, but she just couldn't bring his face to her memory. And truth to be told, she didn't feel very comfortable going to a party with a total stranger.

Then she had an idea. What if she went with someone she did know, someone from their group of girls! The announcement about the party hadn't said the partner has to be from the opposite gender. Just from a different house...

'Oh, but they all might have partners already... I must ask someone tomorrow...' Allie thought before falling asleep.

Ruby was all nervous thinking about showing up to the halloween party without a partener. It wasn't that late at night, she thought of going with one of the Gryffindor boys that noticed her all the times in potions.
'Tommorow' Ruby thought, 'I'll ask when I have my free period. Gryffindors are busy though? Oh heck fine I'll go now.'
As she finshed her arguement in her head she walked out of the Slytherin dormitory. 'His name is Anthony Tars right? Funny thing I think he was in my muggle school'

While Ruby was wandering through the corridors she found Anthony walking too. "Ermmmm- Hey! Hey Anthony!" She called out to him.
"Yeah, who is it?" He replied uneasy. 'Great, the curse of being a Slytherin asking a Gryffindor to do something with them...' she muttered.
"Are you going to the Halloween party tommorow?"
"Yeah"
"Do you have a partener?"
"Yeah- wait no"
"Will you go with me?"
"Yeah, just don't wear your Sytherin colours"
"Okay, see ya!"
And they waved goodbye.

Lily woke up at the foot of the staris. She moaned and got up slightly bruised thinking she must have fallen during her sleep. Memories of yesterday came back and Lily remembered that today was Halloween! Walking back up the stairs, she thought about what she would wear for the party. It was, after all, Halloween. Could she wear something other than dress robes? She hadn't packed them but maybe she could improve one of her dresses. "I'll go ask Allie what she will wear. Maybe we'll go in costumes together?" thought Lily arriving at Allie's bed. Slightly shaking her, Lily whispered to Allie, "Allie. Hey it's Haloween. The party's here! Wake up, sleepy head!"

''What..... /yawn/..... Oh, Halloween?!''

She suddenly realised and woke completely up. It was today! But she still needed a partned... Perhaps she should ask that Michael after all... If he wasn't reserved already.

''Good morning Lily!'' Allie said cheerfully, hiding her worry about a nonexistent partner.

''Do you have a dress or a costume?'' She then asked her, trying to think if she herself had anything of sort packed.

''I think I have dress, mom might have packed one, I'll have a look.'' Allie told Lily and went to check her belongings.

Allie lifted her gaze from her trunk when Lily started talking about her dress. She showed it to her too.

''Oh!'' She was stunned for a moment.

''It's so beautiful! And that mask is amazing! I wish I had one...'' Allie said and then lifted her own dress up.

''This is mine... Oh but just now I realised, this fits the dark red Gryffindor color! Hmm, but how could I make this into a costume?'' She told Lily and then wondered aloud. If Lily was going it costume, she wanted too.

Lily looked at the dress that Allie was showing her. Her dress was truly stunning. "Wow Allie. That is one amazing dress." said Lily.

She pondered Allie's question for a minute and the suddenly said, "Wait a minute. Maybe you could be a tabby cat! Me and you, two cat girls of the party."

Lily thought of how she could help her best friend and then remembered that she had something that could just help Allie. "Wait there." Lily told Allie and went back to her bed where her trunck was lying open. She rumaged through it for a minute or two before producing a little box. Carefully carrying the box back to Allie, Lily explained, "We were in Diagon Alley when I stumbled over this. It might be just the perfect thing for you."

Allie took the box from Lily and opened it carefully. It revealed a wonderful mask which fit the colours of Allies dress perfectly. She stared at it her mouth gaping.

''Lily... Lily, this is stunning... I... I...''

Suddenly Allie teared up. She'd never had such good friends before, and never had she received such a gift.

''Thank... Thank you...'' She sobbed, delicately putting the box down and went over to Lily to hug her.

Allie was hugging Lily really tightly and sobbing. Patting her back, Lily told Allie, "I bought it but couldn't find a dress for it. You had one and I thought it would be your Haloween present."

As Allie released her, Lily looked at a pile of boxes in the corner of the room. "Hey I wonder what these are for?"

Picking up a random box, she read a nametag. It siad:

To Lily Hazel, from your secret admirerer.

Confused Lily showed the box to Allie. "Recognise the handwriting?" she asked. A secret admirerer? Who could it be?

''Thanks so much!'' Allie said to Lily once more. Then her friend noticed a weird pile of boxes at the corner of the room. Lily went and picked up one, and just that one happened to be adressed for her.

''From secret admirer?? Wow! No, I don't recognice the writing, but it sure is elegant! There's more boxes!'' Allie exclaimed, totally excited, and went to investigate the pile.

''Here are two boxes for every girl in this room!'' She then called out to Lily. She found hers and passed Lily her second one.

''So cool!''

I didn't come up with what the boxes contain yet, but I thought they'd be something for the Halloween and from Dumbledore, perhaps? 😃 Or did you have another idea?

@alliainen Actually, it was Haloween themed but from Dumbledoor? Lily's secret admirerer? Hahahaha XD LOL! I was thinking that all the boys in the year had to give a present to the girls. So they can contain sweets, accessories or other things. That's the first present. Second present might be Haloween themed from the Head of House.

Lily opened took a second box that Allie passed to her. "Should we open them now?" asked Lily excitement building up.

Lily took the first present and took off the lid. Inside was a bag of sweets with a Haloween card. Lily took out the card and read aloud:

"Dear Lily,
Happy Haloween! I hope your day is filled with nasty tricks and tasty treats. This year, you have worked extraordinarily well and I hope you will continue to do this.
From Proffessor Macgonagal. Wow!"

Taking her eyes away from the big box of candy, Lily asked Allie, "You open yours and then we open the others. I want to see what you got."

Lilys first box contained a present from McGonagall. Allie took her box which looked similar to Lilys and opened it.

The box had nothing else inside it but the note, but just when she had finished reading it, all the while smiling happily, the note transformed in her hand to a beautiful red and golden necklace.

''Ohh!'' Allie gasped, astounded. She admired the artifact in her hand and then placed it around her neck.

''Amazing... But now, shall we open the other boxes??'' Allie asked from Lily.

''Oh, and by the way, do you know where Scarlet has vanished to? She must have woken up before us...''

Lily proceeded to open her other present from her 'secret admirerer'. She opened it to see a velvet box. Taking it out, Lily opened it. She gasped.

Inside, there was a complete set of jewelery. All was in the style of peacocks and beautifly crafted. "Now I know what to wear with my peacock shoes!" thought Lily aloud.

"Hey it's a halloween party right?" Ruby stated while showing her friends her dress. Apperently they were having a little meeting.
