Im entering! Here it is.....

If i were a leaf on a majestic tall tree, and if i had the choice of which i could be, id be a maple to turn orange yellow gold, when the cool night wind turned turned warm nights cold. Id want to be as high as could be, so all of the world would be open to me. Id sway with the wind spring summer and fall, up in a maple tree so big and tall. Then one moonlit night in Octobers cold air, a beautiful frost would cone paint me with care. All leaves would change color, as God would of done, to give the world beauty as short days to come. Then if i could choose which day to fall, id pick a last October when winds come to call. Id choose a sunday moring so bright and sunny, as sun through the leaves glowed golden as honey. Id pick the sweet moment, when the wind was just right. To let go of my limb and float nice and light, drifting so calmly from the place of my birth, then gently fall down here on earth.

Midnight Sorrow

Caroline slipped on her sandals and ran to the window. The sun was high in the sky. She checked her antique pocket watch to be sure. 12: 30, on the dot. She was ready to go. Caroline snuck outside and ran into the woods. The sun shining through the tree branches dappled the forest floor with light. She smiled at the sight and kept running. She could see the secret place through the bushes. She pushed away a frond of a fern and stepped into the clearing. The cool fall breeze swept maple leaves across the grassy ground and into the clear brook. Just as she remembered it. She sat down on a moss covered rock and waited.

My Short story is called

The Only Fear is Fear Itself

I hear the silent ?Drip drip drip.? Of my tears hitting the floor. Nothing to do, no one to talk to. Only fear. I can hear the words echoing in my head. ?The only fear is fear itself.? I think over and over. I can hear the rats scurrying on the floor. Gnawing at my toes. I hear thunder run through the sky, a flash of lighting shone through my small window. I shutter as the room gets cold. My dumb boarding school sent me to my room and locked me inside for smoking. I didn?t want to someone forced me. I hear the door creak open. A small food tray is deposited. I run up to it and start eating. Until I feel my head pounding. I throw up on the ground slowly. I lay on the small bed in my empty room. My head hits the pillow as my eyes flutter shut. As my eyes close I black out? I wake up, jolting onto the floor. My eyes hurt and my vision is blurred. ?This is horrible.? I whisper. I throw up again. A small man comes into the room. I have no idea who it is. But before I know it, I?m on the ground, knife plunged in my stomach. I lay there, a huge blood puddle under me. My last words. ?Why?? My hand opens and a small note falls out, into the puddle staining it red and leaving the message a mystery forever

@smilies Emotional...........the most saddening, yet unfortunately the most easiest topic for me to write about☹️ I'd tell th story of a horrifble car crash i was in, but if someone else is doing it, then perhaps I shall settle writing a story from either my persepective or Scleroderma, or an actual patient's perspective TT^TT

Suddenly, the ferns parted. "Chase!" Caroline ran to Chase and threw herself into his arms. "Caroline! I missed you. How are you?" He flashed her that familiar smile and sat down next to her. "I'm fine. School has been tough, everyone is so mean to me..." Caroline sighed and squeezed Chase's hand. He shook his head. "It's alright. Life is hard for me too." he said with a small frown. Chase and Caroline had known each other since they were eight years old. They met while exploring in the woods. They had been each other's best friends ever since. Chase tucked a maple leaf behind Caroline's hair and smiled. "Race you to that oak tree?" Caroline asked, and pointed to a large tree with a grin. "You're on!" Chase laughed and they ran towards the tree.

As they slowly walked back to the clearing, Chase started frowning. A lot. "What's wrong?" Caroline asked. "Nothing. Nothing." Chase sighed. "Caroline, can you do me a favor?" Chase said quietly. "Sure. Anything for you. You're my best friend." she giggled, and then stopped, sensing that he was upset. "Meet me here at midnight, okay?" Chase whispers, and stroked Caroline's cheek. "Why?" she started to ask, but Chase started to run. Caroline walked back to her house, feeling lonely and worried.

Caroline woke up in the dark night. She checked her watch again. 11:57. She quietly slipped outside. She quietly crept into the forest, guided by the moonlight. She reached the clearing and found Chase sitting with his feet in the river.
