"Do you smell anything Moonsplash?" Eveningmist called. "I can't return empty handed," she thought.Moonsplash shook her head, "I think I may have heard a flutter of wings ahead but with this rain its impossible to tell."Eveningmist sighed and walked in the direction Moonsplash had referred to.

@emeraldfirefly Viperfang stood by the edge of MistClan's territory, staring over the border at the small patrol of two cats. They seemed to be struggling in finding prey, and she wished she could help.Although even living alone she too found it seriously difficult to find prey. But maybe just once she could do some good. And so she stalked away from the border and into the forest, coming face to face with an all too startled rabbit.She grinned before attacking, noticing how weak it was. It was probably why the poor thing didn't even put up a fight. She realized as she drug it out of the forest. It was hardly half the size of a regular rabbit too. But at least it would help the Clan.She drug it to the border, careful not to step over and waited for one of the patrol to come by. She could only hope her kindness be accepted.

"Moonsplash, I think I found something," Eveningmist cried as she bounded forward.Moonsplash followed closely behind her and eyed Eveningmist's discovery,"A rabbit, thank StarClan I didn't think we'd find anything."Eveningmist nodded and leaned forward to pick it up,"Let's head back to camp."Moonsplash nodded in agreement and turned back towards camp,"Maybe we'll find some more prey on the way back."

@emeraldfirefly @izziebee1017 @pitch1226Viperfang smiled to herself as the two Clan cats took her rabbit. They needed something to help them out. Especially in this horrid rain.Shaking out her silver fur she retreated under the shelter of the trees. Glad she could help, and only mildly disappointed she wouldn't eat much today.

The sound of the waterfall was barely louder than the rain.Moonsplash froze,"I see a bird."Moonsplash stalked slowly towards it and pounced. She nodded with satisfaction at her catch. It was mostly muscle and feathers but it would help. She picked it up and followed Eveningmist into camp.Eveningmist shook out her fur and placed the rabbit on the meager fresh-kill pile. Moonsplash followed behind her."Blazestar," Eveningmist began,"We StarClan has gifted us with a rabbit and a bird."Mosspelt slipped out of the warriors den. Nightpaw bound up behind him. "Nightpaw, see if the elders need anything, we all know this rain makes them cranky," Mosspelt said.

@emeraldfirefly @thebrokenvibe @pitch1226 @featherstar_stormclan-Duskfur-Duskfur had been awake since dawn. That horrible rain not only made too much noise, but it made her and Graypelt's joints ache. Duskfur wanted to complain to Amberflower, but the medicine cat was already busy with a couple cats who had been coughing and wheezing because of the constant downpour She closed her eyes and tried to drift into sleep. Duskfur was almost successful until the pounding pawsteps of a cat, a young one by the sounds of it, jerked her from unconsciousness. When her eyes fluttered open Duskfur saw it was Nightpaw. Nightpaw had been an apprentice for 7 moons and Duskfur could tell he was getting ready for his warrior ceremony. Duskfur sat up as Nightpaw neared.

Tanglepath found himself near the MistClan territory. He wondered what it was like to be in a clan. Tanglepath was tempted to cross the border and explore, but he knew it would be the last thing he did. He sat at the border and started cleaning his soaked, spotted pelt.

He'd been stuck in camp for a while due to this rain. He wish he could be doing battle training with Mosspelt not staying around in camp.Moonsplash creeped into the warrior's den and shook her fur out. Sun-high hunting patrol was over so she curled up in her nest for a nap. "Where are you Flamestrike?" She thought sadly. He had been dead for a few moons by now but she still missed him. Eveningmist began organizing todays patrols in her head,"Mosspelt should go on the next hunting patrol with Nightpaw and Goldenleaf, I wonder if Blazestar wants to go on border patrol with Lightningstripe and Clovertail..."Mosspelt began cleaning his fur near the warrior's den. It was more or less sheltered from the wind but a fat drop of rain occasionally landed near him.

"If you could bring Graypelt and me a bite to eat we'd be happy." The old she-cat moved closer to Nightpaw so only he could hear what she was about to saw. "Could you check and see what Amberflower is doing? I'd like to know whether or not she's busy."

Nightpaw scooted out of the elder's den and back into the rain. He padded to the pitifully small fresh-kill pile and picked up the scrawny rabbit from it. He then headed to the medicine cat den. A strong scent of mouse bile hit his nose. "Amberflower, are you busy right now?" He called.

@thebrokenvibe @pitch1226 @featherstar_stormclan @emeraldfirefly-Amberflower-Amberflower was sorting through her herb store, wanting to have it stocked well before leaf-bare began.She was looking through her chervil supplies when Amberflower heard the meow of Nightpaw, asking, "Amberflower, are you busy right now?""No, Nightpaw, I'm not doing anything too urgent. Why do you ask? Is there a problem?" she responded.-Duskfur-Duskfur watched longingly as the young tom trotted across the camp with ease. "Ah, I sure wish I was still a young squirrel like that young cat." She meowed to herself.The old orange and gray cat rose and was about to go for a walk when she accidentally striked the dozing Graypelt. "Mousedung!" She hissed quietly."I hope I didn't wake up the old raccoon." She chuckled to herself and sat back down, determined not to disturb him again.

"Do you mind if I go on border patrol right now?" Moonsplash asked."Sure," Eveningmist replied.Moonsplash bounded out of the camp and within a few minutes was drenched from the rain. She walked towards the border and gave a sniff. "Hmm... I smell a bird and a... cat?" She thought,"Huh, I guess I should check that out."She bounded towards the smell and spotted a silhouette of a cat.

We all look out for each other and there's always medical aid if you need it, and when you get older you can retire and be cared for," Moonsplash replied. Did this count as a betrayal of her clan or something telling a stranger about MistClan? She hoped not.

He looked at his rabbit that laid at his paws. He picked it up and tossed it at Moonsplash's paws. "Here, I'm not hungry." Then he turned around and started to walk away.

"Smooth move Tanglepath, you gave away your dinner... and now you're talking to yourself." He climbed down and went to find something else to eat.

I mean thank you," Moonsplash murmured still thinking about Tangledpath.Eveningmist cocked her head. "Okay...," She said eyeing Moonsplash a bit suspiciously.Moonsplash nodded and edged into the warriors den."Nice going Moonsplash you totally didn't make your deputy suspicious," Moonsplash thought as she groomed her fur.
