"Uh, I was just wondering if I could meet Eveningmist, but if she's busy, it's fine." He saw the rabbit. "I see you got my rabbit."

Personality: Silent, usually uses understandable head and tail motions instead. Calm and cool under pressure. Not easily intimmidated.
History: Evil parents led to her silence with how creuly they treated her as their slave. Eventually she would find a way to escape, at 21 moons old. She hung out with her new friend, Adder, and they became mates after 2 weeks. When she found MistClan she knew she had found the spot where her heart lied, and sadly she had to say goodbye to Adder, for this was not his dreams and destiny.

Personality: Serious and a born leader-not literally-
History: He, as well as his sister, only knew his father for 3 3/4 moons, and joined his mother in her Clan-ward journey.

Name: Adder
Age: 32 moons
Rank: Loner
Gender: Male
Looks: Ginger tom with a white underbelly and muzzle. Purple eyes with a tinge of extra red. Sharper teeth than a normal cat, earning him a new name, Adder. No-cat knows that his previous name was Benjamin.
Mate: Silentmoon
Kits: Igneouskit, Boulderkit
Personality: easily distracted and sometimes bossy for a second or two
History: His name was only Benjamin until he landing wrong on a jump and knocked his fang out slightly at 2 1/2 weeks old, yet it has never fallen out to this day. Whenever anycat saw him after that called him City-Adder. When he met Moon (Silentmoon) she didn't judge him, his personality was always the same, as it should be. When Moon and their kits wanted to join MistClan he was devastated to lose the last of his family. He will ocasionally he will help the Clan cats if they request it.

Eveningmist finished inspecting it. It had died a quick death from a cat bite and as far as she could tell it was healthy other than being dead. She stretched her legs and turned and walked to where Blazestar was talking to Mosspelt, Moonsplash, and the Stranger.

"I hear you wish to speak to me," Eveningmist said to the stranger. Subconsciously she was analyzing this stranger. He didn't seem to tough and she probably could take him down in a fight, but not without injury. Hmm... asking a question and then attacking isn't the best idea... but he is an intruder.

"I think Duskfur's joints are aching again in this rain," Nightpaw mewed.

"Well I'll go check on her, and Graypelt too." Amberflower replied. She put the herbs back in their proper places in her store and padded out of her den. She was barely out when she smelled the scent of an unfamiliar cat.

She glanced around and saw a young cat around her age. He was walking over to Eveningmist and they appeared to be talking.

Duskfur watched the newcomer's arrival with much curiosity.

She was intrigued by this stranger who was either brave or stupid enough to waltz into MistClan and talk to the deputy.

She was eager to see what would happen.

@ushafuse so far nothing major, just Viperfang helping the Clan, Blazestar being suspicious, Tanglepath meeting the Clan, Nightpaw helping the Elders, Amberflower is checking on the elders joints and Eveningmist is talking to Tanglepath.

Wolfpaw watched the patrol of two arrive with a new cat and she carefully edged out of the medicine den and towards them. Staying in the shadows around the edge of the camp wall. She paused knowing she'd have to inspect the cat in a few moments. Or she'd probably have to inspect them. It wasn't doing her any good jumping to conclusions.

Eveningmist's eyes narrowed slightly,"Care to enlighten me on what you've heard?" She glanced towards Mosspelt and Moonsplash. What had they told him... Tangledpath. She absentmindedly sheathed and unsheathed her claws.

Nightpaw exited the medicine cat den. Huh, a stranger. He's doing pretty well given he still has 2 ears, 4 paws, and 1 tail. He padded to a corner of the camp. He wanted to talk to Mosspelt but he seemed otherwise occupied.

Wolfpaw sat down in the growing darkness of dusk as the tension between the deputy and new comer only seemed to grow worse. She could get a sense from this cat, and from the way he held himself knew he meant no harm. Although for Eveningmist to be able to tell through her hatred of outsiders, that was unknown.

She could only hope nothing too serious would spread from this. She wouldn't want to have to patch up two cats wounds.

Tanglepath casually licked his paw.
"Well, I heard that you're tough, strict, and strong. Also judging by the tone of your voice, I'm not exactly welcomed. I find that rather interesting. It's probably because I'm a STRANGER or INTRUDER, isn't?" He glanced around at the other cats. He knew he was being risky, but he decided to try his luck. "Furthermore, the reaction of all the cats who have decided to take an interest in our conversation, seem impressed. I don't exactly know why, but my best guess is that it's because I'm still talking and you haven't ripped me to shreds." Tanglepath wasn't sure if he should mention the rabbit. He went with his best interests and didn't. He turned back towards Eveningmist. "In conclusion, I wanted to see how this clan works, for I have never seen nor be in a clan. I wanted to witness just how tough, strict, and strong you are, Eveningmist." Tanglepath knew that was the most dangerous thing he said.

Amberflower was shocked at the audacity of this cat. Did he want to be ripped to shreds?

But she also saw a peaceful side, that he didn't want to cause any trouble, and that was good.

Amberflower just prayed to StarClan that there wouldn't be a fight, because if the newcomer had truly never seen a Clan before, he'd be destroyed.

Darkclaw was in the den, grooming himself and watching Tanglepath closely. He caught sight of Bramblefur and Bluepaw at a corner eating prey he had caught in the morning. He got out and went to look for his own prey, passing Tanglepath.

Bramblefur looked at his brother and shook his head then went back to eating his food.

Eveningmist curled her lip back in fury. So this cat WANTED a fight? So be it. She crouched and unsheathed her claws, almost shaking with fury. She judged her distance from him. A little over two tail lengths. She prepared to leap and pin this newcomer.

Moonsplash eyes widened in shock at Tangledpath's words. If Eveningmist got her paws on him he'd be no more than a pile of fur strips. She decided to intervene.

Eveningmist leapt up and Moonsplash leapt at the same time effectively pinning the deputy. Eveningmist writhed underneath her friend's paws barely shredding her instead.

"Moonsplash!?," Eveningmist growled,"What in StarClan are you doing?"

"Preventing an unfair battle," Moonsplash replied.

Wolfpaw watched as Eveningmist prepared to attack the loner who wanted to see how the Clan worked. And she merely stared blankly as Moonsplash stopped the deputy.

The medicine cat apprentices fur bristled, and she glanced over to the loner, seeing how he would react to this.

Tanglepath knew Eveningmist was not fond of him, but he didn't expect her to attack. If she wanted to fight him, Tanglepath would try to fend himself, although he knew he didn't stand a chance. Fortunatly for him, Moonsplash intervened.

"Moonsplash, if she would like to rip me to shreds, she can. It wouldn't be very professional, but be my guest. It was rather rude of me to waltz in without invitation. I gladly except my fate." He turned to Eveningmist.

"Go ahead. I may be able to defend myself for a short amount of time, but not for long. If i die, it'll be the most action I had since I was abandoned, so go to town on me."

Moonsplash unpinned Eveningmist who was panting.

Eveningmist stared at Blazestar her mind swimming. What was she doing? She shouldn't attack this cat. This had... had nothing to do with her... her parents.

Eveningmist hung her head, Tangledpath wasn't even a... a rogue,"I'm sorry Blazestar. It wasn't logical to attack a cat who wasn't an immediate threat to the Clan. He had done nothing that would dignify such an attack." Except hurt my pride... She found herself muttering not a rogue, not the rogue over and over so quietly that only Blazestar, if anyone, could possibly hear her.

Mosspelt shuddered. He hadn't expected this.

Eveningmist nodded. Yes, this cat isn't dangerous... yet. Though she still wanted to shred him. She breathed in and turned to him.

"What do you wish of MistClan?" She asked.

Moonsplash breathed out. Few! Tangledpath didn't get himself hurt, although Eveningmist wasn't going to forget this.

Nightpaw shook his head in amazement. Cat who survived Eveningmist!

Tanglepath cocked his head. Honestly, he wanted to join MistClan, but he doubted he would be able to now. Tanglepath originally came to meet Eveningmist. He didn't know what to say and looked at Moonsplash desperately.

Eveningmist flicked her tail she glanced at Blazestar,"If Blazestar agrees you may remain with MistClan for two moons."

"WHAT?!" Duskfur yowled in fury. "Why should he get to stay with us? What has he done for us besides nearly cause an unnecessary fight?!"

Amberflower turned towards Blazestar and Eveningmist.

"I'm sure Duskfur is just cranky because of this rain. It makes her joints ache and it puts her in a bad mood. I'll go calm her down." She apologized.

Tanglepath wanted to snap a comment back at Duskfur, but bit his tongue. If he stepped out of line, he definitely wouldn't be able to stay. He felt bad about the fight that almost happened, so he knew he had to be on his best behavior.

Amberflower rushed over to her and started soothing her and calming her down.

When Duskfur seemed like she was going to be quiet, Amberflower went to her den to get some comfrey root for Duskfur's joints.

Blazestar nodded. "If for a moon or so he wishes to stay he will be allowed. Although he will have to train with the warriors and partake in all we usually do. I will not allow another mouth to feed when they don't properly pull their own weight in some way." He said, narrowing his eyes at the loner. "I will let Eveningmist work out who is best to work with you on your skills and such. And at the end of your time learning here we will discuss what to do with you yet again.

"And for the time being, allow one of the medicine cats to examine you. I don't want our guest to bring unwanted illness to the Clan. Wolfpaw can help you for now." Blazestar added after a moments thought, turning to face the apprentice currently lurking in the shadows.

Duskfur growled in anger. She didn't want another mouth for the clan to have to feed.

As Wolfpaw turned to Tanglepath, Amberflower caught her eye and gave her an encouraging look.

Wolfpaw had been training with diligence and patience since she had become Amberflower's apprentice. She could do this.

"Thank you Blazestar! I will keep my side of the bargain, and serve MistClan loyally." He turned toward Wolfpaw and followed her. Tanglepath had never been happier.

Duskfur rolled her eyes. "Suck up." she thought to herself. She was looking forward to see how this newcomer would do as a clan cat.

Amberflower was secretly happy that Tanglepath was a part of MistClan.

He looked like he could be a good hunter, and MistClan needed more prey.
