Hello friends!

Item #1: If someone is credited for a creature suggestion or description, their name now links to their EggCave profile.

Item #2: EggCavity hosted a mascot competition (http://eggcave.com/forums/topic/60452). We never announced our winner because @Karenna19 was working on redoing some EggCavity art, and redoing the art for the winning mascot. But unfortunately she has been very busy and has not been able to get to editing this. Thus, this contest will be put on hold until further notice.

I apologize to my previous teams... (@fakeworld, @motivecat, @lykhaos117, @izziebee1017, @prairie, @spectaclenest, @fainne_24, @lzumi, @dappne6, @playdate, @bunnyshadow, @lailaluckyseal87) ...for dissapearing. I had to tackle some personal issues. But I am back!

I have created a voting system on our site! The plan (for now) is to open voting for 5 creatures.

Before you vote READ THESE RULES AND AND TIPS
1. You can only submit your votes ONCE. If you need a redo I can help you out with that. Mail me and I will reset your votes.
2. You can select as many travels as you want for a creature. But PLEASE try to choose between 3 and 6 for one creature.

Do you guys think I should do teams again or allow people to open vote? I have a voting system that I am building into the site so I should be able to allow everyone on the site to vote. But if I did that I would probably have to leave each creature open for a week, and then it would take a looooong time to finish all the creatures. Idk! Do you have any good ideas?

Could you possibly allow open votes for maybe five creatures at a time and leave each voting round open for a week or so? I'm not sure if I'm making sense. ^^;

That does make sense. But then my next worry is that either A) Not enough people will participate because I won't have people I can talk to directly. or B) People won't take it seriously?

What do you think?

I'm more of a concept person - couldn't do the art to save myself. I'd like more mechanical pets, eg mouse man (different from clickroach)

Thanks for the ping! I went and voted, and I just wanted to say that Egg Cavity's Creature Viewer has been a tremendous help lately. A lot of the travels I use are hard to get or are retired and its nice to be able to see if a creatures future evolutions will look good on a certain travel or not 😸
