Creature Suggestion: The Castiphel (Fire Fox) *Please See!*

Hi! This is probably my fiftieth creature suggestion by now, most of them have failed miserably xD. Today, I present you the Castiphel, the Fire Fox Creature Suggestion. Thanks!

Egg Description:
Castiphel eggs are extremely hot! The eggs, usually found in clusters, generate a thin shield of flames for protection. The flames reach incredible temperatures up to 4300° Fahrenheit, hot enough to fuse sand into glass. Researchers and scientists use this knowledge to locate Castiphel egg spawns, which are found wherever the sand becomes black and shiny. However, they must be careful as the eggs can generate enough light to blind creatures and humans. The only protection against the light of the Castiphel are special goggles that act like powerful sunglasses.

Creature Description:
Castiphel, also known as the "Fire Fox of Ark" or "Ignis Vulpes", are extremely luminescent creatures that resemble common foxes. The species avoided discovery for many years, as it was thought to be a cousin of the Felindle. It was with much extensive research that the Castiphel was announced as a new species. The tail of a Castiphel never touches the ground, a genetic evolution to avoid setting it on fire. Castiphel wings and tails create a ghostly fire up to excess temperatures of 10,000° Fahrenheit, which rivals the heat of the sun. However, the most dangerous feature of the Castiphel are their eyes. Castiphel can reduce trees and shrubs to ashes and melt steel just by merely looking at the object. Castiphel fire is able to incinerate almost everything, and can not be put out. Surprisingly, the fur of a Castiphel is completely normal, about the same temperature as a common house cat, and it was only with this point that Ark City officials grudgingly allowed Castiphel to be kept in domestication. Owners of Castiphels must be extremely careful and experienced, and must own a special license to own this dangerous creature. Young Castiphels are unable to control their own fire, often burning down furniture and other flammable objects in the house. Therefore, they must be kept outside in special pens. Although the Castiphel is a mysterious creature, Ark City scientists have revealed shocking background information about it. Once hailed as an incarnation of the sun in ancient Ark civilization, the Castiphel was a common creature owned by leaders of tribes and shamans. Cave paintings dating back thousands of years ago show sun deities riding in chariots pulled by Castiphels. Castiphels were also sometimes described as the sun, rising in the East and making a daily journey across the sky, eventually setting in the west. It was a common legend that Castiphel power would decrease at night, but the SARC has not yet proved this, as Castiphel fire can never be extinguished.

I love foxes, too! I'd totally buy this creature, it looks really cool! I'm pretty new to Eggcave, so I haven't gotten the chance to browse the forums to search for your other creature descriptions, but I'm sure they're all as great as this one! Best of luck with getting it implemented! ❤️

It kinda reminds me of Vulpix and Ninetails from pokemon... And that's not a bad thing! It would be really cool to see what an artist could do with it to make it come to the game! I think it's awesome! 😃 The child stage is my favorite 😱 so cute!
