Boulderpaw:*he gently and carefully put down the kit and then then nodded as if he was still carrying it*

Oak blinked and glanced at Ripple. She was nodding, and she seemed to regret something. Then a sudden realization hit him. Of course! They had left behind Ripple's herbs. Sighing with anger of himself, he glanced around and found that there was just enough brush near some trees that would provide shelter for the group.

Ripple yawned as Oak cleared out a space between some branches and she curled up in it. Oak blinked and smiled lightly, clearing out more branches and then moving on to make more room for the others.

Nightwing:* she looked around and smelled if there was any prey nearby*
Boulderpaw:*He went over to Oak and started help him to clear space for the others*

Ripple laid her muzzle on her fore-paws, her eyes weary but excited. In a few moons, quarter moons, maybe even days they would find the perfect place to settle and create a Tribe of their own! She beamed as Oak nodded to Boulderpaw after a while to say that there was enough room and came pacing back to her. He curled up beside her, touching his nose to her head before resting his head on his fore-paws.

Ripple flicked her tail affectionately, feeling it whisk against Oak's back and hearing his purr of a response rumble in his throat. Needless to say today had been a great day. Ripple glanced around once more, her gaze settling on everyone for at least a few moments. River and Stream seemed relaxed---at least, to Ripple's eyes. Pond seemed to be nuzzling her kits, maybe? Ripple was a little too far to see everything. Boulderpaw and Nightwing---well, she wasn't quite sure what they were doing.

Oak seemed to know that Ripple was looking over the cats and meowed softly, ``Don't be worrying so much about them. They're perfectly capable to care for themselves.``

Ripple flicked her tail angrily in response. ``If any of them are hurt, we can't travel! And we can't make any exceptions if we're dead!`` her voice had an edge, but wavered around the word "dead."

``Hurt, just like you are?`` Oak replied. He sighed as Ripple didn't respond. ``Get some rest.`` he flicked his stick-lick tail to rest on the ground near her.

Boulderpaw:*He stopped once there was enough room for everyone and curled up and fell asleep.*
Nightwing:*She smelled no prey so she went where others were sleeping and fell asleep*

Ripple and Oak soon drifted off to sleep, their breathing matching rhythmically.

Boulderpaw:*he was the first to wake up. But everyone around him where still asleep. So he didn't move because he didn't want to wake anyone.*

Oak's eyes blinked open as Ripple stirred beside him. He glanced around and raised his head to yawn. Ripple was getting to her paws already. He got up as well while Ripple stretched. Oak mimicked her, stretching until his tail trembled. He sighed satisfyingly as his limbs loosened. His muscles had been stiff and sore from lying on the ground.

Ripple ignored the sharp protests of her wound as she stretched. She was aware that Oak was copying her every move, but wasn't bothered by it. She stopped when her muscles were loose once more and shook her pelt. Glancing around, she asked Oak, ``Should we wake them?``

Ripple blinked as if to say, ``Oh, you're awake!`` she watched as Oak raised his head and yowled,

``Alright, everybody, come on, lets' get going, we don't have time to waste!``

Nightwing:*she stretched and padded out and wait for everyone.*
Boulderpaw:*he walked out and said hello to nightwing. He still wasn't used to sleeping with more than one cat.*

As the group began to assemble, Oak and Ripple took the lead once more, padding side-by-side, though it was clear that Ripple was struggling not to limp.

Ripple nodded. ``I'm fine,`` she mewed stubbornly. She was anxious to keep traveling; she didn't want to slow the group down.

Nightwing:"okay." *She went back and picked up one pond's kits and continued going*

Ripple and Oak began engaging in another conversation, which grew more playful by the moment until they were both laughing so much that they were stumbling as they walked. Their eyes gleamed, and they glanced at each other for one moment---a glance so meaningful it could say anything and everything.

Ripple's head whipped around as Boulderpaw raced ahead of them. ``What's got you so excited?``

Nightwing:*she caught up to oak and ripple* "Rose is a she-cat that lives with twolegs and she's a great hunter. I'm pretty sure boulderpaw likes her."

Oak's whiskers twitched amusingly and Ripple let out a mrrow of laughter.

Oak's ear flicked in surprise. Ripple blinked. ``Really?`` she mewed.

Nightwing:"yes. And at the speed boulderpaw he probably already there by the time we get to the big rock that looks like a skull."

Ripple smiled and scoffed. ``Well, we'd better catch up to him, then.`` she mewed.

``Yes, I want to meet this Rose.`` he blinked amusingly at Ripple. They both set off bounding after Boulderpaw. Ripple seemed not to be held back by her wound anymore, and Oak was barely ever bothered by his now.
