"Dangit." Jaela says. "I guess we'll just have to wait until he gets back, then." She looks at the sky and makes a grumbling sound. "It'll be dark by the time he gets back..." Ralem sighs.

Raina rubs her arm, feeling a bit worried about Lyon going off by himself. "Let's go look for him if he doesn't come back soon," she suggests.

Lyon wanders through the forest wanting to get away from the noise. His head was pounding. I'm still not completely better yet... He leans against a tree to catch his breath.

"That guy is really taking his time." Sirin mummers. "I'm going to go look for him. I need a walk anyway, anyone want to come with?"

Raina finishes the Sprite. "I'll go too." She yawns and stretches as she stands up.

"Okay, we'll only look for 15 minutes, in case he comes back. He went in this direction, right?" Sirin asks.

"Yeah." Jaela interjects. ''I'd like to go too, just in case. I don't like the thought of being alone with healy boy." She gestured to Ralem. "Hey." Ralem said. "I'll come too. I don't want to be alone and you might want a... 'Healy boy' just in case things go bad."

"Maybe..." Jaela says. "I'm fine with it but last time we split up in this flock things went really bad." She says quietly. "It probably won't this time though."

"Well... A girl called Lark was killed, a guy named Malen was shot, I was shot in the wing, When we raided a village, I got shot in the heart, Lyon got trapped by a net and we also got almost killed by humans three or four times already. Also Raina decided that it would be fun to cough, ship, cough, Lyon and I." Jaela summarized. "In a nutshell." Ralem didn't want to add that he had saved Lyon and Jaela's lives when they had raided the village.

Jaela's face went pink and she glared at Raina. "Let's go find Lyon, guys." She growled. "And sure. Let's split up."

Sirin glances around the trees. I think we're far away enough from the others now... He reaches into his back pocket. "Don't move." He says, pointing a gun at Jaela.

(I did not see that coming.) Jaela stares at the barrel of the gun in shock. "Oh shoot." She whispers. The places on her wing and her heart where she had been shot started throbbing faintly.
