Ralem takes Angel's hand and closes his eyes, giving her a little bit of his magic to sense her intentions. After a moment, he stepped back, letting go of her hand. "She's safe." He said, smiling warmly. "No need to be hostile anymore." He turns around and looks pointedly at Lyon and Jaela.

Lyon sheaths his dagger. "Fine," but I'll still keep a close eye on her.

"Yaaaay, thank you!!" Angel cheered, quickly giving a friendly hug to the avian who had granted her permission to join the group. "So what are your names?" She asked the group, happily chirping to herself.

Ralem grinned and hugged Angel back. "I'm Ralem." He introduced himself. Jaela waved a little, feeling slightly more at ease. "Jaela." She said.

Angel mumbled all the new names to herself, and exclaimed, "I know I said it before, but it's nice to meet you all! I'm Angel the Harpy!" After a short pause, she innocently asked the group: "What were you all playing earlier?"

"Oh we were drying off our wings and they started flicking water at each other." Jaela said simply. "Only now our wings are probably too dry to do that..." She sighed slightly.

Jaela nods. "Yup, we can." She opens and closes her wings a few times.

Angel tried to hide the sense of dread she was feeling- She didn't want to be left behind. "C-Can I come?" She stutters, a bit louder than expected.

Jaela looks over at her. "Can you fly?" She asks. As much as she didn't trust new people, she wouldn't leave this adorable little bean alone in the woods.

((o hecc i dissociated for 5 days straight and forgot this site existed i'm so sorry y'all-))"Yes!" Angel chirped, flapping her wings.It took a few attempts, but she managed to hover above the ground, letting her wings gradually lifting her upwards."Ummm, do I follow you guys, then??" She asked with a curious tilt of her head.

"Another cave, I think. Someplace to get away form Sirin and the humans." Jaela says. taking off and hovering a little ways above the dirt.

Angel followed the avians, and as she heard the conversation on the wind, asked Jaela, "Jay, who's Sirin? What's a humans?" as she quizzically tilted her head to the side.

(Oh my goodness I love this little innocent bean.) Jaela frowned at Sirin's name. "He was an avian who tried to kill us. Humans are wingless creatures who take what they want without thought for other creatures." She says flatly. "Come on. We should get moving." She started flying towards the mountain range. Ralem sighed at Jaela's attitude and took off into the air as well.

Raina fidgets uncomfortably at Jaela's description of humans. They aren't all like that, she thinks inside her head. She flaps her wings and takes off beside Ralem. "Yeah, we don't want to stay in one place for too long."

"Then let's go." Ralem says. He looks over at Raina and smiles a little. "That's what I've been trying to tell you." Jaela calls over her shoulder as she flew.

(yessss i love angel as well. she is my naive little birb child.)"Ohh." Angel's happy demeanor seemed to dissipate as quickly as it had appeared. "Sirin... And humans- they sound mean..." She frowned, deep in thought. She thought the world was a safe and nice place, like her home in the clouds was. It felt... odd, to hear otherwise.

"Yup, they are. It's best to stay away from them." Lyon says. "We should head that way, we might find a cave over there." He points towards a rockier landscape.

"I have to disagree." Lyon says. "Your cave wasn't nearly as nice as the one I grew up in. We had an amazing view."

"Well it wasn't that bad of a cave. It had a grassy bed in the back and had a great canyon view. Granted, it was no mansion, but it was home." Jaela says.
