Kyren looked around nervously. He sensed others close by. Were they eavesdropping? Would they sell the information he'd just told Kailani?

Aseha's honorable nature poked her once she saw the hybrid being cautious and she swam out. "Sorry for eavesdropping. I didn't mean to."

A female siren swam out from behind Kyren. "O-oh, it's fine. As long as you don't tell anyone," He said. "Hey, do you wanna come with me? I could use help. Not many people who try to find it return, but I'm sure if we travel as a group, we can do it,"

Kailani, who had been focused on the area behind Kyren spotted some movement. She lowered her voice.
"We should move this conversation somewhere else. I think I see someone."

Then he turned back to Kailani. "Is there anything else you want to know?"

Aseha swam back to her little house quickly. While she had little attachment to her house, it still pained her, just a little, to leave it behind. She was sure that while working as a warrior had been nice, freelance mercenary or guard work suited her better, especially since the nobles who ruled her area were driving out their local elders. Grabbing her two packs, she stuffed her extra spear, clothing, some food, medicine and any other useful trinkets she owned into them. Lifting them with ease, she scribbled a note of her departure and put it on her desk. Perhaps she would return to her house one day. After all, she still held the deed.

(@alicevamill Your character doesn't constantly need to be interacted with for you to RPG. You can explore the ocean, the kingdoms, and other stuff and someone can interact with you along the way. I don't think they intended to ignore you on purpose. If they accidentally ignored you, work with it and just continue eavesdropping or say "I'll join" again because your character thought no one heard her.)

Kailani sighed, "I don't know. My father would get suspicious if I was gone for too long. I guess I could make an excuse, but we might not make it back."

Karen jumped as another hybrid appeared. “Holy Poseidon... how many more people are there?” He muttered to yourself. “Anyway, of course you can join us, as long as you’re okay with danger. Should we head out now?” He pulled out his map and studied it. “We’re actually pretty close. We just have to swim north for a day or two and we’ll be in the Abysmal Lands. But obviously, the hardest part is finding Atlantis itself,”

"O-of course!" Al stammered, smiling. He gently took a hold of Zoë's upper arm, "Here, follow me! Theres something really cool I'd like you to see, seeing as we're officially friends haha!" He swam deeper into the reef.

Aloysius dips through the reefs, avoiding the schools of fish and moving upward towards the surface of the water. He reaches a dark platform after roughly 5 minutes. The platform, actually an oddly smooth rock, reached out above the sea. Around the large rocks were multitudes of other rocks sharing a similar form.
"This is my favorite place to go to when I'm feeling overwhelmed or confused"
Al reached behind the large rock and dug a little, uncovering a pile of multicolored rocks. He grinned when he found a bright green pebble. Taking the pebble in his hand, he turned back around to face Zoe, and held it out in his hand,
"Here. Its colors are like yours!"

He sighed and sat back on the rock, rolling the pebble between his fingers. Al looked at the sky, squinting. "Do you ever feel out of place?" He asked.

"Trust me sis I feel that" Al said with a grimace, "fitting in is just so.. hard, yknow?"
Aloysius rolled onto his stomach and gently flipped his tail, "Sometimes I think that I'd like to go on an adventure or something, learn some morals, see some cool stuff, then come back home with sick stories to tell." Al smiled, "That would surely charm the boys, right?"
