Adaya stops midair and hovers for a moment. "But that doesn't make any sense. If you're dead, how can you have a life?" She looks down at Mei, confused. She starts flying again. Maybe that was just an accidental word choice, but she still wanted to ask.

Pyrus looked down at his phone. It's amazing how many people either left him on read or didn't even look at the message at all. So much for that. A kid crawled into his lap, and he looked at the kid, who started grabbing towards his phone. He hesitantly handed it over, the kid giggling as it scribbled on a drawing app. Hopefully nobody trys to contact him for a bit, he wasn't sure when the kid was going to give the device back... but at least the kid wasn't crying or anything.

Wani heard the telltale "bleuink" of Pyrus's communicator turning off. Welp, looks like he and the girls were on their own in this battle. But he trusted his fellow hybrids to do their part in stopping the rouge hybrids. Kicking one away from him, he continued fighting them off.

Kenzie helped Luna who seemed to be struggling against a feral and smiled warmly at her before looking around. There was barely any anyone helping them, she wondered if she should go and find others but decided against it.

She got to the area to see A) a papyrus sitting with a child, and B) an "intense" battle going on.
She sat on a branch and watched.

Li arrived at the skirmish and headed toward an open, but deserted area nearby. She carefully checked to ensure no one was in the area, and then shook out her hair. Readying herself, she started toward a couple of ferals that were straying away from their group, and that weren't nearby any others. Her braid flew towards one and hit it squarely in the chest. Another feral, seemingly an elephant, tried to grab her braid, and instantly let go, roaring in pain. She flicked her braid back towards the elephant feral and moved on to other ferals. They were both left on the ground for someone else to deal with if they were still alive by then. If they were still alive, they wouldn't be too much trouble.

Wani, after knocking out another feral hybrid, looked over and saw a Jellyfish hybrid fighting off some of the feral ones on the side. He flinched at seeing the elephant roaring in pain. Now that looks like it would really hurt. He was just glad the other hybrid didn't go rouge or he would be done for- looking back at the main battles, he did a quick scan of the field. No major injuries to their team, and the enemy numbers were going down exponentially. "Hey guys- there's probs around 20, 25 left, but these guys look like the bosses or somethin' cause they're much more stronk than the rest of the ferals." Not gonna lie, those enemies were extremely stronk. He didn't wanna end up on the end of those claws.

Kenzie bit her lip,
“Are we actually gonna fight these guys? I mean, can we really take them on?”
She asked, nervously.

Luna didn’t speak, and just glared at the remaining ferals.

She flew down to pyrus and just stared at him. "So, i didnt know you were a father." She said (robin). She didnt have to struggle to keep her mouth straight, cause bird jaws cant move.

Wani shivered. "I hope not. It depends on if they run toward us or away from us when we defeat the underlings. TBH, I hope they run away. Just looking at them hurts." He uppercutted one of the smaller ferals, watching the stronk hybrids to see what they would do.

Pyrus made some noise between a choke and a wheeze. "I- what, I'm just watching over the children who got separated from their families! I- they're not my children-" The child on his lap pressed the gallery button on the scientist's phone. Said scientist made a terrified screeching noise and tried to get the phone out of the child's grasp. "Aaaah no don't touch that you stinker-" The child just looked up at the bird with a horrified face before pointing to the phone's contents and making an accurate impression of shook.

Mei scowls, "Shut it." If she didn't get away from Adaya in the next minute, she would literally go feral. "Wait! I see some hybrids down there," she says, "It looks like they're fighting a bunch of ferals. Drop me off!"

Kenzie nodded uncomfortably, she hoped they’d leave, as they seemed easy prey for the larger ferals.

Luna was distracted and wasn’t ready when a feral pushed her from behind. She shrieked as she hit the ground, and quickly rolled out of the way, barely missing a swipe.

Wani stared deeply at the stronk ferals. Hm... 2 mammalians, 1 avian, and 2 fishian. Aquarian. Whatever it's called. The avian one flapped up above them and let off a screech. "Welp," Wani yelled, "I guess this means we're getting attacke-" The feral dived in to attack Kenzie, the mammalian ferals sweeping through to attack the closest open enemies available.

Kenzie put her arms in front of her face and ducked, She heard the avian’s talons in the air as they missed her by an inch, and she spun around, waiting for it to dive so she could attack.

Luna punched the feral that knocked her over in the snout but it wasn’t strong enough to even make it flinch. It stood on one of her ankles, pinning her down, and swiped for her face.

Wani tackled the feral holding Luna down, but it didn't really do much. The beast snarled at the crocodile hybrid, as if daring him to come any closer again. The beast went back to going for Luna, while Wani just scratched at its back, trying to stall for time.

Luna flinched as it’s claw scratched her cheek, leaving a deep cut, she kicked with her free leg and flung her arms at it wildly, fists clenched.

Kenzie noticed Luna but couldn’t help as the avian swooped down. She kicked high, knocking out out of the sky and down to the floor.

Wani, seeing the feral hybrids getting angrier, did the most logical plan of action. Retreat. He took on one of the aquatic hybrids, who were attempting to go help their avian comrade. Seeing the feline hybrid hit the avian out of the sky, he smirked slightly, taking on his own enemy. Both of the aquatic hybrids seemed to be moving in sync. They both lunged at him at the same time, so he scampered out of the way and let them hit each other. After letting them deal the damage to each other, he pinned them down and tied them up.

Seeing the octopus slip through the bindings, Wani leaped backward so he didn't get sprayed with ink. Seeing the bird, he felt mild relief. Birds eat fish, right? Which meant it could eat the octopus!

Meanwhile, Pyrus looked down at the kid in his lap. The bird did make a valid point. He wouldn't mind keeping the stinker for a while if it's parents wouldn't found. But thank goodness he found the kid's mother. It had drooled on him. Disgusting little brat. He never wanted it anyways-

Kenzie, in her spare time, looked around to see if anyone needed help and smiled as Wani took on both ferals. She looked closer at the avian, and stepped back as it picked itself back up.

Luna wriggled out of the grasp of the feral and kicked it, before standing on its paw hard, making it run away.

She hovered above to octopus, trying to think of the best way to go about this tom-foolery. She flew a little ways infront of it, charges at full speed with her talons facing at it, and latched on to its eye.

Wani slashed at one of the octopus's tentacles, only for a new tentacle to grow in the severed tentacle's place. The severed tentacle held his tail in place while the main octopus grabbed onto his midsection and started wrapping itself around him. The crocodile hybrid quickly started pulling the sucker covered limbs off of his body, before slashing it away with his tail. With unnatural speed, all of the damage done to the feral hybrid was regenerated. This pattern of attack and escape continued for a bit longer, with the crocodile hybrid keeping an eye on the other feral hybrid in case it escaped from it's bounds and double-teamed on him with the other opponent.

It was a bit more difficult to tear out the eye, and from the crocodiles experience, it wont matter. But gosh darn it, she wants to see how difficult it is compaired to corpses. Anyway, she did manage to pull it out, it was just slightly more difficult.

Li lunged towards a mammalian feral. It didn't look all too inhuman, which probably meant it was a monkey or ape. Based on the orange hair, it was probably orangutan. As Li dodged some stones that the feral was throwing, she coiled up her hair in loops. This would require a few precise hits, and she would have to ensure she didn't hit anyone else. She quickly flung a length of her hair at the feral, hitting it on the cheek. Beyond the venom, she had put enough force in the throw to leave a welt.

(lol octopus can regenerate, squeeze though almost anything, and shoot ink out of its butt.)
Despite having it's eye torn out, the octopus kept attacking, it's eye slowly regenerating. Man, if they could capture this beast, Py would have a field day experimenting with the possibilities of regeneration. Cephalopod regeneration is crazy- and Wani still didn't like being on the receiving end of ink farts. Like really man, that's disgusting! The crocodile hybrid wiped the ink off of his goggles (well, one of Pyro's spare goggles, but it's not like he would notice), and charged back in. Him and the birdie have a considerable advantage until the octopus's second eye regenerates. That "teared off eye" thing was still gross though.

Observing the octopus between attacks, Wani suddenly came to a conclusion. "Birdie!" he called, "We need to lure it that way!" He pointed to an area in direct sunlight. "Octopuses, octopi, whatever they're called, are all reliant on keeping moist when outside of the water! So if we could dry it out, then it would be considerably weaker!"

The octopus hybrid started sliding up to the bird, but then Wani taunted it by spinning his tail around and calling it names. The hybrid opened its mouth, as if to screech, and crawled halfway between the two hybrids in indecisiveness. This was planned perfectly that the octopus would land right in a ray of sunlight.
