I think nestling spotlight sounds interesting and would help people get to know whoever the MotM is better! As long as there is an option for people to opt out/defer to someone else, which you've already suggested so I see no issues π

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! The other three spotlights are definitely a go; applications are open and April features will be chosen on March 31st. Just figuring out if everyone is interested in member spotlights as well. I know not everyone likes the "spotlight" on them, so I wanted to double check on this possible addition.Personally, I'd love to learn more about members and give them a time to shine, but also want to respect that some users don't like attention or giving details. π

@daisycat since motm is randomly selected, perhaps it can be opt-in via applications? like people would reapply monthly, maybe with different sets of questions each month so it's a different experience for applicants and also mixes things up for readers so it's not just a cookie cutter "what's your favorite x/etc" every month. just spitballing some ideas but I'm excited to see what yous come up with!! π
