Hi, I'm back with another creature suggestion because I've deciced to not be productive and instead draw more silly creatures. Here we go!

About the Certris:
The Certris is a shy creature, easily spooked by loud noises. If you see an actual Orange tree, take another look to be sure, because it might just be a Certris hiding in plain sight! These timid yet beautiful animals tend to stay hidden in orchards, blending in with neighboring fruit trees.

Certris Egg:
Orange in color with a leaf on top, these eggs sure do look like a fresh orange! Be careful, eggs aren't that pleasant to bite into!

Notes:
The Certris is a unique creature, it is based off of the Fallow deer. Spots on deer are usually limited to fawns, but these animals will still have spots when they are fully grown! In the design, the Certris has spots and horns, however, unlike the Fallow deer, it grows oranges from it's branch-like antlers.
Cervus is the latin word for deer, so Cervus + Citris = Certris! If this creature design is chosen, I think keeping the name would be really cute 😊

@shelbert67 The drawing is really nice! I like the idea in general, but I kinda wish it stood apart from other nature deer concepts a bit more. I am a sucker for a cute deer tho, so I still like it a lot!

@dragrawr thanks so much!!

@poe thank you!! i did want to keep it simple and more whimsical instead of stylized i guess? like for example if i were to put more oranges into the design other than the antlers, i just didn't want it looking too similar to a my little pony lol

ooh, this is quite nice! i love when people do unique things with deer antlers, and the creature keeping its spots even into adulthood is a nice touch. i second poe's comment about it needing to stand out a liiiiiiiiiittle bit more, but this is a lovely concept!

I like the design, it's like a more fruit specialized onabi, which could be neat eggcave lore.

@shelbert67 I relly like the idea! But the fruit remind's me of a kumquat - these citrus are smaller and more oval shaped than oranges (not too tasty though imo).

I like this design, but I kind of think its spots should be black like an aging orange more than the white of a real fallow deer.
