Welcome to February at Egg Cave! We have exciting news. Today, we'd like to introduce the Monthly Challenge, which is an achievements and dailies system that allows you to earn CaveCash without a direct buy. You can earn 100 CaveCash when you complete 25 days worth of dailies (and collect other rewards along the way). Dailies rotate and reset every day at midnight ECT.
Visit and access the Monthly Challenge from your verified main account. Each month, you'll need to complete 2-factor authentication to access the Monthly Challenge. Haven't verified your main account yet? You can do that under Preferences with a valid phone number. The Monthly Challenge is largely hidden or out-of-view for side accounts and unverified main accounts.
We'll explain some of the functionality behind how the dailies system works.
This is the initial release of the Monthly Challenge and we know and understand that things will need to be updated, changed, and tweaked. We're here to listen to the community to build something that's challenging but also fun. @daisycat hmmm I never thought about it that way. I always found it annoying when people remove travels B4 selling a pet. I love seeing items a pet has collected before & knowing they were ❤️d / But yeah, sometimes we don't want 2 keep that Scary Clown Mask in their collection 😉

In general, although this makes post 3, I'm not a fan of the blog daily. The wall and forum ones had work arounds I was comfortable with. This one, not so much. Now excuse me while I go do my breathing exercises to bring my heart rate back down to something with double digits.

@snowywinter 50% of the time, I remove a travel before selling. :v Lol ooh reminds me, I tried this travel on a Vandao egg the other day; was hoping it would be even more visible through the egg. XD

yeah i agree with everyone saying that this daily aint it. i liked the forum one. maybe instead of a specific post it can be 3 posts on blogs/forums/walls? any post on any of them being valid or something. i'm sleep deprived right now so sorry if none of this is coherent. gn all!

I'm kinda getting frustrated with the challenges, the amount of ec wasted buying and consuming items is definitely incredibly massively. Now with this challenge of writing 3 times In a blog

@thedarkarcher i agree. atleast donating items or creatures give other people a chance to claim them ,maybe even find something you REALLY wanted. but just wasting ec on items to consuming them? im not a fan. donating ec to sarc would be more useful than this.

I second what everyone else has been saying about the daily to post on the forum. There aren’t THAT many new blog posts. It says, “don’t spam,” but I feel like it’s encouraging exactly that. So far the only “post x” daily that I liked was posting in the forums.

I agree that the "post x posts" is literally encouraging to do spam... I often don't feel like saying anything special and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. People will just end up writing post about nothing or complaining.

@dragonnn @thedarkarcher I might feel differently later in the month, but so far I actually don’t think the EC required has been too bad. The donating daily allowed me to get rid of some items I had no use for. Plus, I was able to get some free items and then donate them back.

I also agree that there should be a possibility to switch off profile comments. Some people may not want to read tens of wall comments on days that have the "post x wall comments" daily. Not to mention the notification spam.

The "write x forum posts" is ok since you can just participate in some forum games, which are kind of fun.

@dragonnn @thedarkarcher As far as consuming items, there are usually some things that can be found inexpensively in the shops, and doesn’t using items have a chance to increase creature clicks/feeds? So not a TOTAL waste.

Doing this for the blog comments task, I do really enjoy the dailies though I wish they'd be randomized for each person(unless they already are) as it'd add more variety to the site and places like the donation center.

If we can have a daily list which has more than 5 missions, and we can choose 5 missions we want to do, I think it's better for me, or add a fresh button to replace some missions I don't want to do with another
