Welcome to February at Egg Cave! We have exciting news. Today, we'd like to introduce the Monthly Challenge, which is an achievements and dailies system that allows you to earn CaveCash without a direct buy. You can earn 100 CaveCash when you complete 25 days worth of dailies (and collect other rewards along the way). Dailies rotate and reset every day at midnight ECT.
Visit and access the Monthly Challenge from your verified main account. Each month, you'll need to complete 2-factor authentication to access the Monthly Challenge. Haven't verified your main account yet? You can do that under Preferences with a valid phone number. The Monthly Challenge is largely hidden or out-of-view for side accounts and unverified main accounts.
We'll explain some of the functionality behind how the dailies system works.
This is the initial release of the Monthly Challenge and we know and understand that things will need to be updated, changed, and tweaked. We're here to listen to the community to build something that's challenging but also fun. Oh! I just thought to wonder, the task says "Post 3 comments on recent Site Blog posts." .... What exactly is considered recent? Any that haven't been closed? The last month? What? Seems like that should have been a bit clearer.

Just as a tip to people who don't know. Using the same retired toy over and over again counts. I've been just using items on the same pet as I don't like increasing the items collected on ones that haven't used any before. Same reason I don't use travels.

@xlover so basically!! you feed a buncha creatures for a chance to earn chocolates! we have this whole thing where you haveta give and recievw chocolates and theres a leaderboard for that! whoever is in that board by the wnd of the mornthn gets a bucnha cc! i think it was 1k

I already found 2 Mariamourette in the cave, no luck on the Loveer yet.. I guess some creatures are a little harder to find..?

Since item use is brought up~ Maybe not many care for this, but I'd love to be able to have a "remove all" or "delete" option for a creature's items used. Like, get it back to zero.

@distorted Did it change last year? I thought the event leader boards for chocs and seeds where for bragging rights only with no rewards. Prizes were only awarded for gobbler hunting (which is 1k CC and a creature).

If the mods don't want spam, maybe limiting the social posts to one seems like a good idea XD Otherwise, I'm like the daily tasks and I'm loving the fact that they change everyday. Also enjoy the fact that you don't have to do the tasks everyday to get the big reward.

@daisycat the Delete feature on used items in this case would be really helpful. The quest is fine for people trying to meet those "most items ever" records, but I like to curate things that tell a story. 24 hrs is not enough time for me to think of something & acquire items.

@snowywinter Another case would be if you trade for a pet and you want to clear their items used, or remove specific ones. And some users want all their pets to be at zero. It would be helpful in any case. :-)

@distorted I may be wrong. I just can't remember getting anything for being on those leader boards, not even the 25k ec awarded to the monthly ones like feeds, clicks and quests. But I did take a hiatus of most of last year so missed the choc event.
