Welcome to February at Egg Cave! We have exciting news. Today, we'd like to introduce the Monthly Challenge, which is an achievements and dailies system that allows you to earn CaveCash without a direct buy. You can earn 100 CaveCash when you complete 25 days worth of dailies (and collect other rewards along the way). Dailies rotate and reset every day at midnight ECT.
Visit and access the Monthly Challenge from your verified main account. Each month, you'll need to complete 2-factor authentication to access the Monthly Challenge. Haven't verified your main account yet? You can do that under Preferences with a valid phone number. The Monthly Challenge is largely hidden or out-of-view for side accounts and unverified main accounts.
We'll explain some of the functionality behind how the dailies system works.
This is the initial release of the Monthly Challenge and we know and understand that things will need to be updated, changed, and tweaked. We're here to listen to the community to build something that's challenging but also fun. @salvalli My monthly is showing 1/25, have you collected all your rewards? Mine didn't show the 1 until I collected the ec and got the cave-chance.

@heatherm19 See that's the thing, I DID collect all 5 of my daily rewards. But since my Monthly was sitting at 5/7, I couldn't collect it. When I went to check and it was 5/5, it had, like, already been collected? But I never hit the button to collect. I came back to it checked.

@daisycat And it's natural instinct for me to close out the annoyingly gaudy yellow rectangle. >.< (Another site I'm on uses similar blocks for pop-up cash shop sales and news. Like dang it, I'll look at those when I'm not in the middle of something!)...

@snowywinter It seemed to take me back a page when I did it, to my inventory, and I was like uhhhhh... okay. And then I was thinking they removed it themselves because they are implementing a poll system? Or at least some sort of menu with creature names or images. 😊

@salvalli regarding the progress bar you may want to post Ian's forum Megathread if you don't hear from him in a day or two. Blog posts can easily be overlooked. (Support ticket worthy issue for sure, but I'm not certain on a new feature.)

@snowywinter if there is nothing distracting you from the image like the actual quests you can see hidden thing like the leaves on the flor’s head is money and how flor is mentions at least 2 times as a ‘helper’ ‘staff’ on this image and on the CSP image

On the unvaulting "poll", like others I thought there would be some sort of list to choose from. Be it drop down, or even another page with a button type thing. Maybe even three polls. One for CSP, one for vend, and one for event (eg like the TInes a couple of years ago).

Liking the dailies and they are fairly manageable time-wise to ensure daily completion. Everything seems to be working fine on my end. The cave creature rolling page when I claim the final prize was a fun surprise!

I agree that the CSP voting should be a drop down menu of some kind that has the past CSP creatures of the month we're voting on. That being said I either also accidently voted a blank or the vote bar is no longer there like it was this morning.
